The Ceremony

The boy said with a look of complete shock. "The Naming Ceremony?! This is the Naming Ceremony?!"

The boy with light blue hair and light blue eyes said with annoyance. "Obviously you fool! What else would it be! Now scram!"

The boy looked confused as he said. "What do you-?"

The boy with light blue hair and light blue eyes cut the boy off. He tightened his grip on the handle of the spear and said with annoyance. "I said leave! Get the hell out of here! You don't belong here!"

The boy put his hands up and began backing away as he said. "Wait! Listen... You don't-"

The boy with light blue hair and light blue eyes interrupted the boy again and said. "I what?! Address me properly you pathetic worm! Get the hell out of here before I-!"

A deep voice echoed against the walls as it said. "Silence!"

The boy thought. "Is that...?!" He turned around. He faced the direction the deep voice originated from.

There were twelve seats that were different from the rest and separated from the rest. The twelve seats looked more like thrones than ordinary seats and they were separated from the rest of the seats by a wall. There were four levels for the twelve seats. The lowest level had six seats, second lowest had three, second highest had one, and highest had two. There was about one seat of spacing between each of the twelve seats. There was an opening behind each of the twelve seats that the boy was unable to see into. The most important aspect of the twelve seats was they each had an engraving engraved into the back of it.

All six seats, at the lowest level of the twelve, had a cracked mask engraved into the back of them. The only difference among the six seats was the number of swords by the bottom left of the cracked masks. From right to left there was one vertical; two diagonal; two diagonal and one vertical; two diagonal, one vertical, and one horizontal; two diagonal, one vertical, and two horizontal; and then finally two diagonal, two vertical, and two horizontal.

The three seats, on the second lowest level of the twelve, had a mask engraved into the back of them. Just like the lowest level, the only difference among the seats on the second lowest level was the number of swords by the bottom left of the masks. From right to left there was one vertical; two diagonal; then finally two diagonal and one vertical.

The one seat, on the second highest level among the twelve, had a mask engraved into the back of it just like the three seats on the second lowest level. But, the mask had four swords by the bottom left of it. There were two diagonal swords, one vertical, and one horizontal.

The two seats, on the highest level among the twelve, only had masks engraved into the back of them. The engraving on the back of the two seats was the exact same for both seats. The engraving had two masks that were intertwined with each other. The mask on the left side was the same as the mask on the second lowest level and second highest level. The mask on the right side was slightly different from the mask on the left side. The shape and size of the two masks was the exact same. The only difference was the right mask was darker than the left mask. The left mask was unshaded and the right mask was shaded. The right side of the unshaded mask was intertwined with the left side of the shaded mask.

Out of all twelve seats eleven were empty. An individual sat in the seat on the left side of the second lowest level. The individual sat in the seat that had a mask with two diagonal swords and one vertical sword, by the left side of the mask, engraved into the back of the seat.

The individual gave off a very intimidating aura. They wore a silver mask which covered their face. However, their light brown hair was still visible behind the mask. The rest of the individual's body was covered with pure silver armor. Their silver greatsword was stabbed into the ground by their feet with their only hand resting on the hilt. The individual only possessed one hand and one arm. They only had a left arm. Their right arm was completely missing, it ended at their right shoulder.

The boy stared at the individual intensely as he said. "Father?!"

The boy with light blue hair and light blue eyes said with shock. "What?! That's impossible!"

The girl with long light silver hair said to the girl with short light silver hair. "Uncle has two sons?"

The girl with short light silver hair replied to the girl with long light silver hair. "They do look alike."

The girl with long light silver hair nodded.

The boy with dark silver hair looked at the boy with light brown hair that wore silver armor and then looked at the boy with light brown hair that wore no armor.  He then mumbled to himself. "So there really are two..."

The individual, who wore silver armor and wore a silver mask that covered his face, who was also referred to as the boy's father, aura intensified. His voice resonated throughout the walled area as he said with intense anger. "Silence! I am no father of yours, child! Someone like you could never be a child of mine!"

The boy looked down at the sand beneath his feet. He looked both saddened and confused as he thought. "Father... doesn't even see me as his own son..."

The boy with blue hair and blue eyes smirked and said. "You hear that? You don't belong here! You are not a royal so get out of here now before I force you out!" He adjusted his stance and pointed the tip of his spear toward the boy as he tightened his grip on the handle of the spear with his left hand.

The boy looked up from the sand and looked at the boy with light blue hair and light blue eyes with a confused expression.

The boy with light brown hair and silver armor immediately grabbed the hilt of the sword on his back with his left hand. He looked at the boy and then at the boy's father as a conflicted expression appeared on his face.

The boy with dark silver hair grabbed the hilt of the katana strapped to his side and said. "Stand down! Or I'll cut you down!"

The boy with light brown hair and silver armor released the hilt of his sword. His left hand fell back down to his side as a calm expression appeared on his face again.

The boy with light blue hair and light blue eyes turned and faced the boy with dark gray hair as he said. "You think just because your father is the King of the North you can boss me around?! I'm the oldest and strongest among us." He pointed his left thumb at his chest as he said. "If anyone is in charge it is me!"

The girl with short light silver hair said. "Quiet down, you miscreant! You're annoying to listen to."

The boy with blue hair and blue eyes said to the girl with light silver hair and the boy with dark silver hair. "So the South and the North have banded together. It is just as Father-"

The boy's father, the individual with silver armor who sat on the second lowest level, said with irritation. "Silence, boy! You know nothing of territories and alliances! You don't even possess a name!"

The boy with dark silver hair let go of the hilt of his katana. His hand rested by his side.

The boy with blue hair and blue eyes strapped his spear to his back. He placed his left hand on his chest as he bowed to the individual with silver armor and said. "My apologies, Uncle. I did not wish to offend you. I only meant to get rid of this boy who doesn't belong here."

The boy's father gritted his teeth and said with annoyance. "It is too late to get rid of him now." He looked up at the sky.

The boy with light brown hair that wore no armor looked up at the sky as well. He could see red, blue, black, and white smoke filling up the sky above the walled area. He could hear the echoes of drums from outside the walled area.

The boy's father sighed and said with annoyance. "They are here."
