Concept of friends

On a morning, Eito get up so early and after a few minutes of preparation, he walks to his school, but something bothers him, is like there is something wrong.

When he arrived at inside the school, he sees Ms.Nakamura holding a paper and a pencil hanging around her ear. Then she approach him, like she is gonna talk to him.

"Excuse me Eito."

"Oh, what's that Ms.Nakamura?"

"Have you already seen Emiko? Your classmate"

"Uhmm, not yet Ms.Nakamura, it's still early for her to go school."

"I see, well thanks for your time Eito."

"You're welcome, but may I know why~"

"It's none of your business Eito, just head to your classroom."

"Y-yes Ms.Nakamura *bows*"

Ms.Nakamura walks past to Eito and heading where she going.

"Jeez, every time she talks to me directly, she looks like she was about to devour me anytime *sigh*"

Eito continues to walk and reaches his classroom. When he opens the door, he saw his few classmates and realized that he come to early.

"Oh yes *slaps his face*... I forgot it after talking with Ms.Nakamura"

He sits on his chair and wait for minutes, While his arm resting up the table and hold his chin.

"I know Toshi always comes late, so I don't think about that much... but Emiko, it's very unusual to her not to arrived early."

After waiting for a few minutes, Toshiaki made at time, and the class have started when Ms.Nakamura enters.

"Yo, Eito... *psst*"

"Huh? Oh, Toshi, why are you sitting at Emiko's chair?"

"Eh? Why, you don't want me to be your seat mate now, Eito?"

"*sigh* There you go again."

"*laughs then he look at the outside of the door through the glass panel* Eh? Oi Eito look."

"'Oh this must be Emiko now'... Huh? Hey that's Natsumi."

"Yeah *chuckles*, she really have good athleticism right? She is much younger and we are ahead, but her height and slenderness is far more capable than yours."

"Tch... alright alright, that is just my lucky break, you okay now?"

*Toshiaki laughs*

Eito and Toshiaki stops their chat and they continued to listen to the class. But Eito was thinking something on his head.

"It's too late now, I guess she really not coming today... I just ask her what happened when we meet."

After finishing their lectures, Ms.Nakamura asked Eito to get her folders at the teachers faculty.

"Jeez, I am just sitting while doing nothing, then here I am, on my way to the teachers faculty."

When he was halfway to the faculty, he saw Natsumi carrying heavy stuffs heading to her classroom.

"Oh Natsumi, let me help."

"Hmm, Eito? No it's fine hehe."

Eito help Natsumi by carrying a two stacks of notebooks in his both hands.

"Let's go, I'll be late if we didn't hurry."

"O-okay Eito, thank you."

When they arrived at the front door of Natsumi's classroom, Eito gives the two stacks on Natsumi because he doesn't want to be seen together with Natsumi.

"Sorry Natsumi, this is far as I could go."

"Oh no worries Eito, you are a big help *smiles*."

"*chuckles* You are always welcome."

"Oh by the way Eito, did Emi attend the class?"

"Well, technically no, that's unusual for her to skip class right? But maybe she had a valuable reason for that."

"I see, then I don't have chance to talk to her right now."

"Well, you know I can help you to be friends with her and time will come that you could be best buddies."

"Hmm, hope so... oh yeah, I should get in now, till next time Eito."

"Yeah."

After Eito helps Natsumi to carry the notebooks and other stuffs, he headed for the faculty.

When he finally arrives at the faculty, he gets all the folders in Ms.Nakamura's chair, then he found something at the top of the table.

"25...26,okay that's all... huh? This is Emiko's test paper from her former school right?"

Eito grabs the paper and read it, then he is surprised by what he have seen.

"Man, Emiko is not just serious, but she got a big brain too. I wonder what happen to her."

Eito headed back to the classroom and gives the folders to Ms.Nakamura.

After they finish writing the writings on the board, the school bell rang and it's lunch time now.

Eito, Toshiaki, and other students eats at the rooftop. The cool breeze of the air makes them refreshing and the others take a nap after the finish their food.

While Eito and Toshiaki were eating, Natsumi suddenly join them with her heavy lunch.

"Mind if I join you?"

"Oh, Natsumi? Sure, feel free to share with our lunch."

"You two really know each other, am I right Natsumi?"

"It's not like that but, Eito and I have already talked at my first day here, so I can consider him as a friend *smiles*"

Natsumi sat down and shows her the lunch she brought at them.

"Woah! Eito, seems like you bring a good friend here."

"Shut up Toshi, Even I don't know that she brings food like this."

"Well, I can't eat this all alone, so you could grab some *smiles*, but the sashimi is all mine, got that?"

"Yes." Eito and Toshiaki respond.

After they finished eating their lunch, they return to their classroom. It was before evening, then finally, their class had dismissed.

The two already got out to school to avoid taking assistance or orders to the teachers.

"Glad we got out fast Eito, you know what will happen when the teacher saw us in the school this time."

"Yeah, I'm really glad about that Toshi."

"So your friend Natsumi, is she always like that? I mean, is she really friendly like she always shows?"

"Well, yes, she is always straightforward and cheerful. Why did you ask Toshi?"

"N-nothing... but how about Emiko? I know you two are friends but, you two don't look buddies like your friendship with Natsumi even you just met her."

"W-well, yeah you're right, but Emiko is a different person, she is cold and she gets mad at me easily, also, she doesn't want to talk, so I just wait for her to talk to me if she wants help by having someone to talk."

"Really Eito? What if she's waiting for you to approach her and hoping you'll talk to her?"

"Nah, I know her, she will never hope on someone to talk to her first, and I am just helping her, since she only wants to talk when she needed help and to make herself feel better."

"Hmm... but that's how friends work right? They help each other, I can see you are not seeing her as a friend, but you don't know that she wanted to be with you too."

"I guess you're right Toshi."

When they arrived at the past few blocks, Toshiaki wave goodbye as he will go to other direction heading to his home. Then he was thinking about things.

"Emiko? Friend? Yeah I accepted her offer, but we haven't talk to each other a lot, so maybe when my parents met her, they would not think about she is my friend. Anyway, Emiko offered her friendship with me just like Natsumi, so I can consider them as my friend."

After a long walk, he finally arrives at his house.

A few hours later, it was dinner time. Eito and Riku were sitting at their dining table, then Riku opens up a topic.

"Brother, when will Emiko visit us again?"

"I don't know Riku, it's probably not so soon."

"Eh? But I want to be together with her again *deep sigh*"

"Oi, let's eat first okay? It's bad to talk while eating a food."

"Okay... but do you her to be your lover?"

"*sigh* I told you, I don't have interest about having a lover or girlfriend."

"Hmm, why?"

"Because Mom and Dad said it, they say I need to get finished my study."

"Eh? But that's strange, our parents doesn't even want you to make more friends right?"

"Eat first Riku, we'll sleep early this time."

After finishing their food, Riku were washing the dishes.

"Oh Riku."

"Yes brother?"

"Would you bring my medicine to me please?"

"Sure."

*Riku brings his medicine with a glass of water"

"Thank you."

"You surely take your medicines daily eh? I wonder what are those for?"

"Dad told me that I should take this everyday to avoid getting sick, even you Riku, you have your own right?"

*Riku nodded*

"Then you should take too Riku, it's for our immunity."

"Yes brother, I will just clean the dining room first."

"Okay I will go to bed now."

"Yes, goodnight *smiles*"

When Eito lay down on his bed, he is thinking about something.

"Friends huh? If only my parents did not told me to, then I should have make a lots of friends right now... oh well, I just need to sleep now or I might get late."

After a quiet night, the sun has shined, and Eito was heading to his school.

When gets inside the school, he saw Emiko talking with Ms.Nakamura at side of the main building.

"Emiko and Ms.Nakamura? What are they talking about?"

Then Emiko suddenly cries while talking with Ms.Nakamura.

"W-wait, she's cryin... but why?"
