The day after my day off I was sitting at a cafe reading all about the, "New mysterious pokemon." The world wide Pokecentral News mentioned my appearance, my family, the Ghouleon's and Spiriteon's, interviews with people, and the mysterious book published with Samuel Oak's encouragement. The book was titled "The Mysterious Death Types" published by an unknown professor somewhere. It caused a stir as people guessed.
"This stranger and a member of the infamous Silence has several mysterious types. Could they be this new type?"
The one to really jump at the news of interesting new types, species, and species variants mentioned in this book. Most would instantly figure the worth of extorting rich and desperate people of their money for one. The major one was Hunter J, who was a known poacher of rare and exotic pokemon throughout the world. Now why would I be at a cafe reading about this type of news? Simply, I'm going to be watching Professor Magnolia's lab.
That Silence had given four of each type as bait to study, the professor knew this but still wanted them. As she wasn't worried really with legendary killers secretly guarding her lab, staff, and pokemon. About eighty-six Silence operatives had been secretly mingled into the staff and pokemon. The difference to tell them apart was a random black and cyan blue green accessory of any type. There's just a withered Leafeon of the Death and Grass typings called Leroy, he's wearing a speedo.
His reason? Confusion of the enemy and looking sexy for the males. Leroy is a special case in the base, as he's free to go anywhere as he is certified as a ptsd service pokemon. So the sweet little guy usually focuses on the male staff as well guys are guys, we like to pretend shit doesn't get to us. For the female staff he is reportedly the women's choice of a best gay friend. He even does good with the children on base as he's technically four in human years, forty in pokemon.
So he can connect well with the kids and that helps Zero Commander Zavala, who's in charge of the CEDER (Child Endangerment Evaluation and Rescue) division. Said Leafon was strutting his stuff through the lab ranch, from what I can see using a psychic perspective. Besides him was Nova, a Typhlosion of Death, Fire, Ghost, and semi-Psychic type. She was a very rare pokemon with three and half typings.
Which is a rare phenomenon where a pokemon can awaken a third or more typing depending on region, environmental area, stimulates, and lingering energies. This happening is even rarer than a shiny pokemon by sixty percent more, as a zero point zero zero two chance to occur naturally. She was born a year ago and with how much energy was trapped inside her tiny body and egg. I personally had to hand raise and train her while slowly unsuppressing the energy as she could handle more.
Even then she can only use around seventy percent of that energy correctly before it rampages. As that's the double edge sword of more than two typings, lose control and it'll kill you quickly or slowly. While I have a lot of typings, because I stayed human in appearance and stuff I can limit the danger. As the human mind in this universe limits a specialist's typing energy by around seventy percent.
Otherwise they'd destroy their body from just using an attack like Sword Dance or Quick Attack. My brain is altered by Arceus, to where I can set levels of power output. The higher I go in output the more my appearance will change, as I'm reaching my natural suppressed state. During the great shift caused by Kyoger and Groundon, I had used up my max output twelve hours in to hold everything together, which was turning my body into crystals slowly to fuel my abilities. Nova doesn't have that luxury as if she goes past seventy percent every second adds onto the chance she could die.
Which given her typing Nova while she looks like a normal Typhlosion in appearance. Her fur is dark gray due to Death, the volcanic holes that spew fire on her back leak dark purple gas that contorts to form a fluffy plump collar like mass around her neck. The gas is naturally flammable so her fur is all completely flame retardant. On her forehead rests a shattered bone white gem. That's biologically implanted into her skull, this represents her partial psychic powers. The accessory she picked was funnily enough a skull necklace made using my death crystals.
When I asked her about it before this operation she was just adorable with how shy she was. That I couldn't help but to hug my adoptive daughter while she fidgeted to find an answer. I had, however , asked my sisters and brother, the three legends in charge of the balance of karma, called Aku no, Chūsei, and Yoi. That looked a lot like saber tooth panthers with a symbol for evil, neutral, and good on their bodies in a golden color. If they could tamper with J's karma and well Aku no was giddy about doing so screaming in delight.
Aku no being the one to decide the fate of those with bad karma, REALLY fucked J up while giggly while her fangs showed. So hunter J, she should've had four months of pure blood vomit inducing bad luck. Today she'd think everything would be planned out meticulously to the last detail. Only for the wired noose snare of karma to lop her head off with a quick motion. Yoi looked into the others of her band and found fifteen with heroic values of karma, they shall be spared as they'll be protected if attacked. As sister Yoi's protection is like an extension of Arceus's god defense for those with heroic karma.
Chūsei left everyone of an equal mix of karma to the fate of their karmic scale. He couldn't be bothered with them so if they lived their good helped them, died? Tough shit buttercup, crippled but alive? Take it, don't bitch. Is how my brother thinks as the neutral judge of a soul's karma. When he looked at my karma he said mine was almost strictly villainous yet neutral. He was confused at how I could be an evil neutral with almost a high amount of heroic karma.
In the end though he decided to take a nap after stabbing his claws into the soul of a Mankey, sending it to Giritina. Another noteworthy weirdo from Silence at the lab is Carmen Debugal, a twenty-two year old male that carries around a trumpet. He has blonde hair, green eyes, olive brown skin with freckles, a prosthetic heart, a height of three foot and nine inches, weighing eighty pounds. He was in the R&D side of things but he was often too musical for a researcher.
What was he doing here? No fucking clue! Just that he was acting as a traveling musician putting on a free show for the lab. So he wore very casual clothes, carried around his trumpet, which if you weren't careful he could use its sound waves to hypnotize and force you to suicide. He actually is listed as the sixth dangerous person at base for this fact for a rather morbid reason.
Simply because he jovially got a group of six hundred people, they all were planning to go rogue, together after tracking their movements. Into the training grounds and played his trumpet and caused them to slaughter each other to each musical note. By the end of his concert the last standing poor bastard's brain exploded. The kid when he looked over the carnage simply said a single sentence.
"Wow you guys really felt so moved you killed your treacherous selves for me."
Psychic specialists are quite crazy and can cause mass chaos if they have a focus to use their energy towards. Carmen was playing his trumpet happily right now though as he danced around the lab. Those poor sods inside not knowing really what kind of monster was dancing around the place. It had been three hours by the time Hunter J appeared above the lab in her advanced stealth airship base. Looking at it I calmly said a command over the com line.
"Let them think you are surprised, then take that airship. Take no prisoners unless a white defensive shield appears then escort them to the police. Those with that shield are protected by sister Yoi for being heroic souls amidst criminals."
Having said my piece the show begins, Hunter J thinking she's taken everyone by surprise. However, that confidence of thinking she had some good luck finally was shattered a second in. As the second she touched the ground I appeared before her solely. My eyes locked with hers, her pupils trembling knowing how the dice had rolled. Grabbing her shoulders with a heavy air I speak softly to her.
"Goodbye J, you'll never reincarnate. Such a waste of a rare specialist."
Her body trembled at my words and she tried to do something, anything at all only to find she couldn't. My eyes glowing subtly as they looked into hers, robbing her free will from her. My hands emitted a gaseous ghost fog that seeped into her body slowly. Once it filled every inch, my hands sparked. Her body immediately combusted in my grasp but she did not die. I wouldn't let her die so simply.
After causing her to combust, darkness snuffed the fire, leaving a barely breathing crispy skeletal figure. Smiling at her deeply with sickening affection, the flames of death coiled around her figure forming a symbol. J's melting eyes dilated guessing what is to happen next. Once the symbol was finished, her body TRULY became nothing as I now held her bare soul. J could finally speak and her last words were pathetic.
"Bullshit on not reincarnating, I'll reincarnate then hunt your miserable ass down and kill you!"
A seed of death energy appeared in the center of her chest. Looking at her with apathetic eyes I watched as her soul broke down and shattered feeding the seed. The seed drops to the ground and instantly grows a tree of protection. A byproduct of using a villainous souls karma to force them into being eternal protectors. Seeing their boss die and become a strange tree her henchmen tried to flee. But Silence does not tolerate threats escaping.
Those who fled were pounced by those sent to the lab and ripped a part or tortured. Carmen had gone onto the airship and began making its inhabitants fling themselves to the earth below. Those protected by my sister survived the fall unharmed but were quickly arrested. All of Hunter J's men had essentially perished, J herself forced into eternal guardianship, and their airship now under our control.
By the time the local ACE forces and military arrived Silence had cleaned everything up. Their forces looked confused as I stood by the professor with my team out. Professor Magnolia explained what had happened rather plainly as she honestly could care less. Since a legend was involved her feelings wouldn't matter, so she gave up on feeling anything for Hunter J's faction.
