I instantly fell in love with designing after playing around for a bit with the customization function.
All the different possibilities, all the different outfits, each with their unique colors and designs.
When I finished designing my clothes, I tried many combinations of colors that might match the design I made. And the results were great! I love my new clothes!
For my first Haori, I made the design looked like art, I use white, red, and pink silk to make it look like someone had tried painting using red and white, but instead created a harmony of red, white and pink. I also added some lines that I just felt I had to add. (Coverpage Haori)
"Hm... What should I design for my second Haori?" I thought about it for a long time before looking up at the stars again.
"How beautiful... No matter how many times I look at the night sky it just always seem so boundless and free."
Suddenly, I received a notification from the Yumi.
<>Having trouble designing your new Haori?<>
"Yeah, I was thinking of designing two different Haori so that I can use one for my normal daily life and another for my secret demon slayer life. I already finished my normal Haori, but I just don't know what I should do for the other one..."
<>Each weapon user have their unique breathing styles, of course, they can always teach others their breathing style. Most of the time, their Haori represent their breathing technique and their beliefs. For example, a flaming Haori represents a burning passion. A starry Haori represents curiosity and boundlessness.<>
"But I don't have any breathing style! All I have is a foundational breathing technique..."
<>Have you forgotten about the rewards you got from the starter pack?<>
My mind was blown. How could I forget?
"Yumi, open the store and filter out everything except breathing styles."

"Why are there still different sections? What's the difference between an original and unique breathing style?"
<>There are 3 types of breathing styles. The original breathes are the reason why the derived and unique breathing styles exist, you can think of it as the original breathing styles. Derived breathing styles are taking a part of the original breathes and creating their own techniques, for example, water breathing style. Unique breathing styles are a little more complex, they are fundamentally derived breathing styles, but are variants, for example, a unique breathing style called the mist breathing style is derived from both the water and wind breathing styles.<>
"What about the creation of my breathing style and techniques?"
...
Yumi didn't reply. She stayed silent for more than 5 minutes.
Reaching the 10 minutes mark without getting a reply from Yumi, I started getting anxious.
'Did I say something wrong?'
<>Sorry about that, I had a talk with the ------------ and she agreed to let you create your breathing style and techniques at the cost of only one of your skill ticket.<>
...
Somewhere in the void...
<>...at the cost of only one of your skill ticket.<>
A figure was seen talking to what looked like a mirror. Her eyes were promptly screaming she wanted to murder someone.
After doing so, she touched some parts of the mirror and immediately yelled out to release her anger.
"I THINK YOU MIGHT BE HER DAUGHTER OR SOMETHING!! ONE SKILL TICKET TO CREATE YOUR BREATHING STYLE AND TECHNIQUES! ONE! JUST ONE! WHEN DID THAT SCAMMING BI*CH BECOME SO GENEROUS?!? IF YOU ACTUALLY USED 5 SKILL TICKETS I WOULD UNDERSTAND! BUT WHAT THE HELL?! ONE SKILL TICKET?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"
...
(Back to MC)
"One skill ticket? But I don't know how to create any breathing styles or techniques..."
<>I can help you create it instead at the cost of 500 System Points. It will be designed to suit you perfectly. I would recommend using 500 SP so that you won't waste you skill ticket and making an incomplete breathing style.<>
After hearing Yumi's reply, I was thrilled!
"Really Yumi?! You can do it for me instead? Then thank you! I appreciate it!"
<>It will be done in two days. I suggest you design your weapon and then enchant your clothing after arriving at that village at the foot of the mountain before going anywhere else. You haven't met any dangers due to the coldness that covers the top of the mountains. It would be dangerous without a weapon if you were to leave this place and encounter wild animals right? And as a gift, I'll also design the rest of your clothes for you.<>
(Two sets of clothing, MC designed one herself, which is the cover page Image. The second set is designed by 'Yumi'. There will be a link in the comment section next chapter. And the weapon would be in the image too. But some of you readers may recognize who the person is. So just a note, the picture isn't mine, it's just for a reference. Oh and I planned something with the mask shown in the image so do also take note of the girl in the image if you don't already know who she is.)
"Awww! Thank you so much!"

The next day...
I started going down the mountain as soon as the sunlight hit my face. I made a small goal for myself to reach the village hidden in the forest that I've seen on the mountain top before night falls.
I planned to start designing my weapon once I reach the village. And Yumi should have finished the breathing style and techniques by the time I finish designing my weapon.
And if Yumi didn't finish by the time I finish designing my weapon then I guess I can use my gacha tickets and see what I get.
'I hope I get something that will be useful and not something like a piece of rock. Even the tutorial said that the gacha is rigged to give luckier people better stuff than those who have bad luck...'
A few hours later...
I let out audible pants as I walked down towards the village with my face covered in dirt. Even though I have almost doubled the vitality a normal person has I still felt out of breath after slowly 'climbing' down the mountain top.
Actually, climbing would be an overstatement. I practically tumbled down from the mountain top all the way to the midpoint of the mountain.
At least the system awarded me 1 Strength Stat and 1 Vitality Stat for my troubles.
It's also a good thing my clothes didn't break, else I would have to have to go into the village with tattered clothing. First impressions means a lot to me okay?!
I cleaned my face with water I found next to the river I found before continuing towards the village.
After another 30 minutes, I finally arrived at what seemed to be the back of the village. Without any further thought, I walked into the village.
My eyes wandered from building to building as I compared this era's technology with the era I was born in.
Yes, the tutorial included everything from my era all the way to the era I'm currently in along with herbology, metallurgy, and things like science that are a few centuries ahead of the current era.
Now, which time period was I in? I think it was the Edo period? The structure of these buildings and the condition of the roads can tell me that much. (No, they don't. I think I'm bullsh*ting here. Please correct me If you actually are knowledgeable unlike me.)
Before I can take another step, a peculiar man wearing a Hyottoko mask. Usually, they are worn in festivals but some people wear them just for decoration or sometimes to state their profession. Or they just want to hide their face...
We were just looking into each other's eyes, It was extremely awkward.
"Uhmm... Hi?" I tried smiling at him, but then I noticed the knife in his hands and my smile was replaced with an awkward one.
And then we just continued to look at each other without talking.
My mind raced as I tried thinking of a solution to get me out of this awkwardly embarrassing moment.
Surprisingly, what I didn't notice was how over 8 people who were holding katanas in their hands were creeping up behind me.
They were like, super creepy spiders that just randomly drop on your head when you're standing next to a super tall tree.
Before I knew It, I felt an enormous force that struck my neck, and once again, my vision blurred and the last thing I heard was this.
"Wow, I never knew demons can disguise as humans now."
A second voice that resembled a shy girl spoke up next. "But... what if it was just a poor girl who just happened to stumble upon Swordsmith Village? It's not like there are any traps or anything that protects it..."
I can hear many other muffled voices before my consciousness completely snuffed out.
I could vaguely remember my last sentence that I cried out before blacking out, "What the fricking hell are demons?!"
