If You Want to Rule Everything, Rule the Rulers!

When the participants returned from collecting materials, three months already passed. Every single one of them returned looking like they were on the verge of death. In their eyes, however, the light of ambition shone as bright as the sun in heaven. Out of all of them, the Duck Piercing Gentleman was in the best condition. There were a couple of tears to his uniform but other than that he seemed to be in high spirits.

They were all standing in the main Guildhall near the entrance and surprised to see several young people bustling and working in the hall. There were even some older experts who seemed to be overseeing things. Four tables with experienced looking seniors were quietly sitting and sipping tea or reviewing lists. The artifact spirit of the Superior Crafting Guild appeared and greeted them. "I trust your adventures were successful?" He asked them. All of them nodded their heads. After so many hardships and months of anticipation, they were eager to conduct their trades and had no interest in chit chat.

"Are these people survivors of the Superior Crafting Guild?" The beast tamer asked. "Some, but others are new recruits who are hoping to join the guild in the near future. There are still many things to do before new members can be accepted, the old ghost said.

"I'm sure you are all eager to trade your materials for points and make some trades. As you can see, there are four material exchange stations. You are free to exchange your materials for points, but before you choose artifacts or services; you should meet with me in the War Hall. There are serious matters to discuss," he said. The gathered experts looked at one another with confusion and hesitation. They agreed to meet with the artifact spirit before trading for anything but points. Finally, they made their move to turn in the materials they collected.

A couple of hours later, the returning adventurers were lead to the War Hall. They were surprised to find the little warrior Hitchens Redstone sitting silently with a smile waiting for them all alone. "Little Warrior, what are you doing here?" The Duck Piercing Gentleman asked. Xan lifted his eyes and with a smile said, "I'm waiting for you. The artifact spirit asked me to wait here so we could have a talk. Hey Ice and Fire Sisters, looking good" he said with a flirty wink. The two women blushed. They absolutely loved this little punk. It had been so many years since anyone dared flirt with them. At one time they were the number one beauties of the region. Time isn't kind to beauties.

"A talk?" The ice mage asked with a shy flutter of her eyes. "Yes, a talk," the ancestor said as he appeared in the room. "All of you are lucky to have met this young man. If not for him, a great disaster would have befallen this region. All of your guilds and sects would have been wiped out and none of you would have known why or how it happened. Now, you have a chance to overcome disaster!" The old ancestor said.

"What do you mean?" The beast tamer asked. The look in his eyes was fierce and his muscles tensed up as if he were ready to engage in battle at that moment. "Everyone, please take a seat. The Assistant Guild Master will be here soon and he will explain everything," the ancestor said. "The assistant guild master, I thought he was killed in the war between the Superior Crafting Guild and the King's Crafting Guild," The weapons master said.

"Not the assistant guild master of the Superior Crafting Guild; I'm referring to the Assistant Guild Master of the Unity and Order Super Guild. Our Guild has joined this super guild and I'll encourage all of you to consider doing the same as the survival of your organizations will depend on it," he said.

The people in the room were confused, none of them had ever heard of the Unity and Order Super Guild before. They were aware of Super Guilds but those existed in only the most affluent and powerful regions in the continent. Were they about to meet an all-powerful individual? When they finally returned today after three months of bitter struggle gathering materials they thought they earned some rest and only looked forward to getting the rewards for their efforts before returning to their sects and guilds.

Everyone turned to look at Xan at the same moment, "Do you know anything about this?" The beast tamer asked.

"A little, I even met the Assistant Guild Master. He is very powerful," Xan responded. Just as he finished speaking a laugh echoed through the hall. Everyone turned toward the entrance where the laugh originated from. There stood a big man in blue and gold armor. Not even his eyes could be seen. Over his shoulders, a purple cape hung down giving him a majestic aura. Strange artifacts were hung or strapped to his body. None of them had seen such artifacts. Some of them had hilts but no blades. Often, a box or tubular object was attached to these hilts. One, an extremely large object with a hilt was slung over his back. This object was a combination of tubes and rectangular shapes with elegant designs throughout.

He was impressive looking. The Duck Piercing Gentleman and the female mages were attracted to the graceful and refined look of this person. The other men were impressed with what they understood to be his presence. He was formidable and left them all feeling slightly scared.

"No need to stand on my account, please have a seat. After all, we'll be working together in the future. We have things to discuss with one another," The armored man said. The group of adventurers obediently sat down in their chairs and watched as he walked to the head seat at the war table and sat down. Xan stood next to the man like a loyal servant. "Very good, it's nice to finally meet all of you," Reaching up to his head, the man removed his helmet. As the helmet was removed a youthful twenty-something-year-old man appeared before them. He didn't look much older than Xan.

"A kid?" One of the sword-wielding warriors of the group blurted out. "Haha, looks can be deceiving my friend, I'm probably older than all of you combined. It's just that I am fresh from the Rebirth Cabinet," he said. "The Rebirth Cabinet is that anything like the Health and Beauty Cabinet," The flame mage asked. "In some ways it is, but asking me if the Rebirth Cabinet is like the Health and Beauty Cabinet is like asking me if a diamond is like a pebble," the man said with a wink to the fire mage.

Hearing his answer and then seeing the wink, she immediately blushed a little. Her sister continued her line of questioning. "Can you explain why the Rebirth Cabinet is like a diamond while the Healthy and Beauty Cabinet is only as a pebble?" The "young" man nodded his head. "The Health and Beauty Cabinet is a wonderful device by most standards. It can take someone hundreds of years old and make them look much younger. It can even increase their life spans.

The Rebirth Cabinet does so much more than that. As the name suggests, it's more like a rebirth than simple rejuvenation. Someone even thousands of years old can be reborn in this cabinet. They could be reborn as a child of four or as a middle-aged looking person. The Health and Beauty Cabinet reduces the apparent age, but the Rebirth Cabinet returns a person to a much younger age. By age, of course, I mean their bone age. If you examined my bone age you might think I'm only twenty-three, but the truth is I'm more than three thousand years old.

Not only did I experience a rebirth through my age but my potential is like it was when I was in my early twenties. My strength level wasn't reduced at all. Whereas with the Health and Beauty Cabinet you might experience a loss of a level or two. The path of strength is a long one and most of us die after only developing some of our potentials. We simply run out of life. We might have vast amounts of the potential left but what can we do if our bodies can't live long enough?

It is a miraculous thing, the Rebirth Cabinet, but it's only something that can be used by members of my Unity and Order Super Guild and no other super guild has access to such an artifact," he said.

Not only the women but even the men were panting at the thought of gaining access to such an artifact. "By the way, my name is Git Mu Vin, you can call me Master Vin," he said with a smile.
