Chapter 8
Standing in front of me were two beings from which the only thing I could see using my Tenshingan was that being hostile would most certainly lead to death. So being the life-loving, peace-seeking person that I am, I used my most charismatic smile and my years of experience of social interaction to initiate the conversation.
"Hi there folks, how can I help you today?"
I don't know if the skull-head found it funny since, well, its teeth were always showing, but the other cosmic-looking guy was just standing still, not reacting to my Irish accent. I'll have to work on that.
"It is strange how you came to be at such a time. The 6 previous singularities existed before the beginning of this universe and now became infinity stones…"
'Wait a second, am I a in…'
"…That is why Lady Death and I came to look for you."
'Marvel?!'
I quickly calmed down my thoughts that were in a frenzy then bowed in a gentlemanly manner while facing Death.
"It is a pleasure meeting you, Lady Death" who offered me her skeletal hand which I proceeded to kiss.

With a slight nod, he replied.
"I'm known as Eternity."
"Then, to what do I, Alexander Dawnstar, owe the pleasure of your visit today?"
Since we were done with formalities, Eternity's impassible face came serious while he looked at me.
"Why did you come to this reality?"
"I did not come out of choice."
This time, Death stepped out. "Then what goals do you have?"
"I just want to live my life while exploring this universe and enjoying food" I did not specify what food a black hole ate though…
They pondered for a while before asking me.
"Do you know of cosmic beings?" (AN: Here I will assume in the fanfic that every newborn cosmic being gain some form of knowledge from the will of the universe.)
"Yes, but I don't see myself as one yet. Both you and lady Death represents the life and death of the universe while Galactus exist to balance things out. As for me, unless this universe is destroyed and I have a role to play in the next Big Bang, then I don't think I'm a cosmic being." I did not want to have such responsibilities and to be too well-known right now since I don't even know in which Marvel-verse I am. (AN: According to the Marvel fandom, Cosmic Beings such as Eternity and Death are essentials to the equilibrium of the universe.)
Eternity seemed to agree as he slightly nodded. "That makes sense since, but then, how can I be sure that you won't try to destroy this universe."
"What about a non-aggression alliance where we both leave each other to do our own things without being hostile, this includes you both as well as all other Cosmic Beings on your side. You can even call me after I grow a bit more if you really need my help to save the universe. I know that you have been on the lookout for the First Firmament so you wouldn't disagree to have another ally."(AN: You can look for the First Firmament on Fandom but basically he was the will (First Cosmic Being) of the first universe who created the Celestials who then rebelled and destroyed him, resulting in the creation of the multiverse and others Cosmic beings)
This seemed like an interesting offer to both of them as they silently discussed it before looking back at me and smiling (Death's smile can be cute if you ignore the lack of flesh).
"That's a good idea." Agreed Eternity.
I offered my hand to seal the deal.
"To our eternal partnership!" They completely missed my pun as they just confusedly looked at my extended hand before imitating my gesture.
"Now, could you help your ally out and point out where Asgard and Midgard are?"
Death just shook her head and left while Eternity slightly smiled for the first time and teleported us to what seemed to be the solar system, judging by the 8 orbiting planets. (AN: Sorry Pluto haha)
"Asgard is currently a bit dangerous for you, so it's better if you grow a bit more before going there."
Eternity proceeded to depart with these last few words, leaving me alone floating amidst the stars.
'It's always relaxing to drift in space… Alright, enough with that, Alfred, did you record their strength levels?'
'As expected from Cosmic Beings… I'm lucky I kept the Tenshingan on since I know they weren't lying and won't come looking for trouble. For now, I'll need to lie low, discover which verse I'm in, silently accumulate strength and then plan further ahead.'
Longingly looking at the small, distant blue planet, I wondered when I could finally eat some fast food and browse the internet.
I left a few Hiraishin marks on a few asteroids that were wandering around and the proceeded to leave the solar system.
I used a Great Teleportation spell which allowed me to appear anywhere in my field of view as long as I had enough energy, which with my current reserve took me 10 casts to appear near another star.
It looked a few times bigger than the sun, so Alfred scanned it a few times to estimate its mass.
'This should be enough for now'
I then proceeded to 'eat' a few planets in the surroundings to become more proficient as a Blackhole.
'I think I would have fit more in Toriko, but whatever'
When I felt ready, I then stood a bit further from the star and started 'feasting'. The flowing, stream-like hot 'matter' was gradually absorbed, accelerating with time till I became like a ramen-eating Naruto.
It took me around a month of non-stop absorption to completely 'eat' the star. This was a massive boost to the size and mass of my singularity since thus far I've only eaten planets, which are far more light than a star.
I then Hiraishin'd back to the solar system and proceeded to return to the Motherland.
