Private dimensions like where I am headed right now are nearly impossible to find since they are always shifting in the spacetime continuum. Fortunately, I had a competent subordinate, namely the Ancient One, who had a vast repertory of dimensional coordinates that I could use to pinpoint my destination.
Speaking of the Ancient One, Alula convinced her multiples disciples to sign a contract with me when she showed them the benefits. There were a few 'smart' ones who didn't want to have anything to do with me and were ready to leave, though a small 'talk' with me changed their view on the subject. A bit of genjutsu and a few mental-suggestions Spells may have been used though.
I didn't want to have any 'I-have-been-wronged-so-I'll-come-for-revenge-when-I'm-stronger' sorcerers on the run. The best way to deal with problems is to erase them before they even appear after all.
Moving on, I did research a bit before deciding to come to Bast's dimension, she was a goddess after all. Even though I had a bit of experience with a certain beheaded rabbit, this was a world with different power-levels and stronger beings, so I couldn't be arrogant just because I was stronger.
From what I could gather, she was the last standing member of the Egyptian Parthenon, which made her my prime target. It seems that the only reason she lived for so long while the other 'gods' died is that she still had believers in the form of Wakandans. That is the main problem of 'divinity', 'gods' could get incredible powers when they have enough believers while they just die when there's nobody to worship them. Such a sword of Damocles, why would anyone want such unstable powers?
I focus on the view in front of me as I step outside of the portal, feeling a wave of humid heat hit me. I appeared in what seemed to be a border between a tropical jungle and a desert with pyramids visible in the distance. I notice a few scorpions hiding in the sands while hearing animals cries from the jungle, couldn't she have stuck to a single theme?
Anyways, it's all the same to a black hole. A small smirk forms on my face.
'She should have already noticed me, yet doesn't want to come… Alfred, remember this, when you fish, it's always easier with a bait.'
I let a tiny portion of my blackhole loose as an insane pull forms around me, crazily absorbing the surrounding around me. It took less than ten seconds for the pyramids in the distance to start flying towards me, ready to become my next meal. This was service befitting of a pharaoh.
"STOP!"
I close the connection to my blackhole as I turn to look at a figure flying out of the pyramids, who were now already inserted in the ground with their pointy peaks first. This is how you turn society on its head folks.
In less than a blink of an eye, a literal Catwoman wearing a loose white robe stood in front of me, fiercely glaring at me with her slitted eyes while claws were already out of her fingers.
"You! What have you done to my realm!"
I look at her in the eyes.
"I was just a bit hungry, so I took a little bite. Aren't you supposed to provide meals for your guests anyway?"
I saw her eye twitch, how cute. I definitely want a cat now.
"How have you become my guest?! I never invited you!"
I shake my head at that.
"You're nitpicking on such little details, how petty for a goddess…"
Did I ever mention my love for teasing people? Though I don't think she liked that from the growl that escaped her mouth.
"Anyway, let's leave that aside for now, I came to make a deal with you. I can guarantee you a great number of believers, which would take you out of the pit you are right now."
She seemed to be taken aback by that. She carefully looked at me before responding.
"And what do I need to do?"
I give a bright smile at that.
'Alfred, ready combat mode.' (AN: this includes removing all the restraining seals on his body.)
"I want you as a pet cat."
She froze for a second before starting to shake. I think she lost it.
'Alfred, record the upcoming battle and put it in the Divinity Research folder'
I had yet to activate my Tenshingan, so I even though I couldn't see her coming, my body instinctively felt an incoming attack, so I positioned myself to receive the least amount of damage possible. I didn't want to evade since I was testing the limits of the powers of divinity.
'She packs quite the punch for a kitty…'
I unclenched my jaw as I rubbed my lips, feeling a small cut on them. I was struck in a human-shaped crater on a cliff-side. That was quite the godly punch, I traversed 27 km from the impact zone.
I felt a wide grin forming on my face as I felt my blood pumping for the first time in a while. I'll keep the black hole off for now since I want to capture her alive.
I then activated my Tenshingan and True Sage Form. It was the first time I was using this form to battle since I came to this universe. Since I fused the mind-wiped Jyuubi with myself, his limitless chakra transformed to become my prana, allowing me to use more easily.
I slightly released my hold on my prana while strengthening my prana's cloak. I immediately burst forth with speed, leaving thundering sounds behind me as I appeared before her, a punch directly landing on her furry cheek.
I didn't give her any reprieve and teleported behind her, kicking her to the ground, forming a kilometre-wide crater. Gods could be quite thick-headed, so you had to literally hammer facts unto their heads.
I appeared before a giant panther as she stood up, she appeared quite shaken. Maybe it was the smile I had that threatened to split my face.
"Do you agree now? Don't worry, I won't treat you badly. As my cat, you'll live better than the majority of people on this earth."
Her response was to lunge to my face, which is the normal response when someone wants to enslave you. It doesn't change the inevitable though since acquiring her is the easiest step to make my plan succeed.
I had once thought of just killing her and to use an illusion like with Shou-Lao, but her divinity cannot be replicated, the lack of which would be sensed by her believers.
I move slightly behind and leave a clone in front of me, which she rips apart with her claws. I replicate with an Earth Catapult Spell, which sends her a few kilometres away.
What ensues is a battle worth describing with the word 'world-ending'. The sky is threatening to break with all the sound barrier-breaking impact we are having. The earth is completely levelled while many new biomes made their appearance, including an erupting volcano and a frozen sea.
As expected, Bast was quite good with magic, so we had a few bouts including large-scale spells. I was laughing out loud by the end of it, such a good sparring partner was rare to find.
'And I finally had some fun after such a long time…'
I let out a long sigh, then proceeded to put some distance before using my Truth-seeking balls to form a sword, which I covered with my sword Force.
I teleported right in front of her, sword lightly poking her neck, drawing a trickle of blood. Before her pupils could even contract, I erupted with all of my Aura.
The world stilled for a moment, then all hell broke loose. If the world seemed to be in danger before, then now it was on the verge of breaking apart. Fissures and cracks began to spread as the air itself became visible because of the pressure I was releasing.
The smile that was on my face vanished like a mirage, leaving only an ice-cold face behind. I looked into her quivering eyes with my steely ones.
"Do you surrender now?"
She gulped loudly as I pressed my sword even further, opening a small wound.
"I don't mind killing you, since I'm quite interested in dissecting your body, so don't test my patience. I know that this may seem to be unfair to you, and it is. But I don't care since I can take on any repercussions that come from this. Now, let me reiterate my offer. I will give you stronger powers, more believers, and you will even have some freedom to do your own things. In exchange, I want you as my subordinate."
She was shaking all over, trying to resist the crushing pressure I was emitting as she nodded her feline head.
Then as if the previous moment was a lie, the pressure disappeared without a trace as a devilish smile spread on my face. I take out a specially made contract from my storage.
"See, it wasn't so hard to strike a deal. Now, my dear, you just have to sign here."
