chapter 9 my new magic

It was weird but I guess it's cool.  I clicked on it and it said that it gives me a chance in a situation where I might die.well I'm not going to try this one because I have to be near death so I would rather not do that . well I guess that's a good amount of training for today. After that I decided to look around for a while. To get some more info and see what's in this town.I saw a tournament in an arena. However, wins first place get 20 gold and other places get smaller sums. But it's still good I might try it out.

I returned to my inn .The lady said Tomorrow is my last day unless I pay for more. I thanked her for the heads up and said I'll pay tomorrow.I went to my room and laid down for a little and ended up falling asleep.The next morning i got up and headed to the guild to see if i can go in a dungeon (a dungeon is a deep hole with many layers with stronger monsters as you go down no one has made it to the bottom of one thoe).

I don't know how hard it will be for me but i'll ask once i get to the guild. I arrived at the guild and asked about the dungeon . They said I could go but I was only allowed to the fifth floor for safety reasons.I agreed and she gave me a card that had my name and the floors I'm allowed on. I headed out after that . Once I arrived at the dungeon there were a couple of guards there.

They asked for my card i handed it  to him and he scanned it and said go ahead i started walking down the stairs to get to the first floor once i arrived i saw a lot of people and monsters there were many different species but more importantly i saw the two girls that i saved that one time .I walked over to them to ask if they could give me any info about the dungeon because i've never been in one before. They asked what guild i was from .So i told them and then they said there from the same one . 

They told me that you are supposed to go around killing monsters to get crystals . Each monster drops different crystals and each crystal has a different value. You need to turn them into the guild and they will give you money based on the crystals. I thanked them for there help and they asked if I would like to team up with then.I agreed since its my first time in a dungeon .We started heading in the dungeon .

And a hole bunch of red ants started coming out of the walls of the dungeon (red ant are a type of monster that looks like an ant but 3 times bigger and there red).I pulled out my dagger and killed two the girls that were with me killed two working together one of them used a sword and the other used a mage's staff .It was pretty cool.Then all of a sudden a the boss came out it was a huge boar with flaming tusk and scars all over it .

Then all of a sudden my arm was engulfed in flames . Then my screen said active power badodd active combined with fireball. (active power is a power that has to be activated )So I aimed my arm at it and shot it. It was a huge blue fire ball that destroyed the boar . Then it dropped a big crystel i grabbed it and walked back to my friends.They seemed surprised so I asked why and they said not many people kill boss monsters by themselves. 

I explained to them how my power works and then they calmed down .After that we went to the gild and turned in our crystals we made a good amount of money and we split it evenly then they asked if i wanted to go to a tavern to eat since there was one near us . I agreed and I ate a couple of meals and left and they asked if we could team up again . I said yes and headed home. It's good that I have a good amount of money saved up now I'm getting closer to getting my own house.I went to bed and the next morning i woke up but on earth it's been a while since i've been here i almost forgot about it .I guess while i'm here i can go check out zoeys grave . Once I got there it was a little grave that had her name encrusted into it. It was sad to see her gone but I will avenge her .

Right after that I was taken back to the other world . It was sad to know that I would probably never be back to earth again .But I need to remember to figure out who killed Zoey and get stronger . I can't die until I complete my goal . But for now I just need to live . I should probably go train some more to get stronger . Also I should meet up with those girls again .On the way to the training room I saw the arena and they had a sigh up for a rookie league.

I thought that I'd sign up since it's just a rookie league .I went to the arena and sighed. It stated that someone has to give up or be killed for the match to be over and the prize was 50 gold. I still signed up because if i give up i won't die . and only bronze ranks are allowed in so i should be fine . I better get to training if I want towin i made it to the training room and started training.

And all of a sudden a thing popped up on my screen it said you leveled up you are stronger and you earned passive skill novice weapons user it makes me do more damage ( a passive skill is a skill that is always active) i didn't know that i can do more damage like that and then i had in idea i checked my weapon and it said plus ten damage .
