Raging Wolf

Among all the chaos of what just happened I knew we were betrayed. We rushed to the surface, and climbed our way up to the roof tops to see what happened. The level of devastation, that we witnessed can not be put into words. The whole area where the hideout was completely leveled, buildings destroyed, people screaming, people covered in debris, and dust... the bodies. All the bodies of the innocent bystanders, that were caught in the crossfire of this ambush were mangled beyond recognition. Limbs of the fallen scattered through the area. The gore made my stomach turn, and I vomited. kneeling next to me vomiting Rey took in the horror with the same disgust as I did. I notice a glint in the sky, and I see a figure the hair on my neck told me to run, hide, save yourself. Ignoring my instincts for self preservation I grab Rey, and leap off the building. As soon as we land the building behind explodes, sending both of us; me into a stand and Rey into a building with a wall collapsing behind her. I gather my bearings, my ears ringing, my back killing me I see the glint again my instincts screaming to run, but if I do the people behind me will get killed. I gather my strength holding a guard stance my arms posed in an X shape I scream wind barrier! With a rush of wind a barrier forms, and the blast slams into the wall I formed with such a force I was almost knocked off my feet, but I held my ground and screamed out louder trying to withstand the force of the attack. The ground beneath me begins to crack, and feet begin to sink within the ground. The scream intensifies as I use the wall to deflect the attack, and send it somewhere away from the civilians. The moment the attack flies off the barrier I feel an immense weight lifted off my arms. With no time to react I lunge at the glint in the sky with all the force I could muster, as I do the air changes from dusty, death filled air to regular fresh air, and that's when I notice him one man floating up here all alone looking completely disappointed. "You're alive?" With a flick of his hand I feel the same attack as before slam into me, threatening to crush me against the ground. I roll off the attack knowing full well what I have done, and because of my actions this will lead innocent lives to be lost; but this monster can not be allowed to live, and keep rampaging like this unchecked. As soon as I rolled off I sensed another attack coming, and I dodged to the left; focusing the wind into my palm I sent myself forward. The moment I got close enough I drew my sword, and unleashed an attack GALE SLASH! The attack connected, but he stood there brushing himself off as if a fly had attacked him. "That's all you got?" beginning to laugh I take advantage of the distraction, and attack. This time infusing a thin coat of the air around my blade this time to give it an extra bit of sharpness. With speed I've never seen before he was already behind me, softly placing his palm on my back he utters "now die; the sky is my domain, and filth like you do not belong here." With a simple touch I sensed it; my death was coming, and there was nothing I could do to stop it... Suddenly a rush of anger floods my mind, as all of the images of the deceased, all the innocent people murdered by him for what? All to just get Sora?! All that devastation to kill one man!? No I refuse to accept this! Suddenly the sky darkens around me, and a bolt of lightning slams into the both of us. Anger, hatred, fury course through me; I see the man drop for a second and hover back up to me where we match eyes. " So you're the lightning variant, weak if you ask me, but that bolt of lightning was a nice touch." Removing the shiny armor he was wearing he begins to stretch his arms "So tell me what's your name?" asking like he's about to enjoy a casual sparring match. I have never in my life experience this level of fury, the amount of pure hatred I feel for him is as much as my fathers murderer. "My name is Ezra Wolfram and I will kill you!" Rolling his shoulders I notice his attire light weight boots, dark leather pants, and a simple black T-shirt. Getting more enraged, because of the lack of seriousness he's taking I ask "What's your name, that way I can ask Lord Fujin to send you to hell when I kill you?!" With a smile on his face he replies " Randal Moore, and the only one dying is you scum." With a clash his sword meets mine clearing the clouds around us, I break off, and launch a lightning bolt from my hand. Randal dodges left, and hurls a blast of wind with the same force of the other attacks, but this time I slash through it cutting the attack in half. I lunge forward this time cutting diagonally from a low angle, like Leon taught me slash from leg to shoulder, "and that's a hell of a lot harder to block or parry." Randal jumps back in a flip unleashing three more attacks; slashing through two blasts I parry the second, and deflect towards him. Following with the attack close behind I lunge above the attack throwing a blast of lightning at him. Using the air around me I keep myself floating, breathing hard I see the smoke clear off, and his carefree face turn with disgust, his shirt torn, his pants covered in scorch marks, "alright you've pissed me off now I'm getting serious." Ripping his shirt off he begins to scream, and the air around me begins to change the clouds begin to thicken gusts of wind so strong I could barely keep from getting blown away; realizing that this is his variant, hurricane. The strength of the winds intensifies, and I'm sent flying towards the ground. I imbue wind into my sword, and slash towards the ground to cause a cushion for my fall. The force of the impact sends me upward, and I flip landing on the ground. Noticing where I am I see the devastation of our fight so far. People holding bodies of they're loved ones crying, screaming a child screaming for they're mom and dad, man walking around confused as he walks off with his arm missing. That's when I notice a figure clad in the same uniform I was, kneeling helping someone. "Rey!" I screamed, she turns around seeing my face; tears welling in her eyes she cries out for me. With a flash I am standing by her, with a shocked expression I tell her, "you need to get everyone out of here the fight isn't over it's the hurricane variant, and he's just unleashed the hurricane power." Rey stands up grabbing my shirt pulling me towards her kisses me on my lips; shocked I do the best I can to kiss her back. Locking eyes her dark green forest eyes with mine tells me, "don't go off, and die on me okay." With a sense of purpose I nod my head, and begin to walk towards the sense of dread was, and in a distance I hear Rey scream out, "it's not safe the variants are fighting we need to run!" when suddenly I see Randal descend, rooftops, and the rest of the buildings around him completely turn to debris around him like a vortex of blades surround him. With a blast of dust behind him I throw my arms to defend, suddenly I feel his hand on my face, and him slam my body into the ground. Feeling my body bounce from the impact I cough blood; not relenting Randal proceeds to kick me so hard I go through what felt like three buildings. Barely able to recover I shoot a bolt of lightning at Randal, he deflects it with his one hand. Stunned I didn't know what to do. "Am I going to die?" The sudden realization had set in, "there's just no way I can win he's just to damn strong." A voice echos out not Randal's, but a voice I've never heard an ancient voice, a voice that had power behind it. "Is that all you got?" My body screaming in agony, my broken bones barely being able to mend themselves as fast; I'm running out of power. "If only I had more power I could win!" Screaming in my head, blood dripping out of my mouth; Randal looking at me with the look that he's gonna finish this in one move put's his hand out. "If I let you have more power what will you do?" Looking at Randal I put my hands out and prepare to block the attack. Randal bellows "Hurricane talon!" with it came a force I have never seen everything around him disintegrating, I pour the rest of the reserves of my power to block this blast "Lightning Barrier!" A dome of electricity surrounds me, and as it does the force of his attack lands on my barrier. The force alone is so strong it feels like it'll snap my arms off; The voice echos again "If I give you more power what will you do?!" Holding my ground withstanding the attack I scream "If I had more power I would protect all these people who are unable to protect themselves, I would protect my friends, my family, I would defeat this monster, and change this hell world!" With that final scream I felt a surge of power. "I lord Fujin one of 4 great kings of this world here by remove the seal placed upon you; now my child show me what a storm looks like!" My barrier collapsed and as it does a massive bolt of lightning crashes on me. "So much power, I can't believe it." My aurora of lightning changed from the subtle light blue to a dark purple, the sky had completely darkened; rain was pouring, and it felt like a true storm has arrived to Raigo. With this new found strength I rushed Randal no sword in hand, I knew this was my chance to return the favor I grabbed him by the face, and slammed him against the ground with so much force the area around exploded; the beautiful buildings that surrounded this place turned to rubble, all the people that called this place home either dead, or ran away. As Randal recovered I rushed him again kicking him in the head, his body following the momentum of the blow. Randal get's sent into near by building. " Lightning rush: the wolf descends" my body moving like a bolt of lightning I see him I throw an uppercut connecting with his jaw sending him upward, moving with the lightning, I appear above him clasping my hands together with a mere whisper "howling strike." My hands get engulfed in lightning, and I smash into him as hard as I can. Lightning flashing behind me, his body shoots to the ground causing a massive explosion. "I know you're still alive get up!" With an explosion he rushes me, Randal strikes at me with a monstrous right hook, I block, and counter with a head butt, following a knee to his body, having him hunched over, I grab his head, and knee it again sending him to the ground. I jump up soaring to the sky I halt my forward motion with the wind. I bring my hand up and summon a lightning bolt into my hand, just like I did when I fought Leon. I compressed the bolt as tightly as I could using the wind to rotate the bolt to high speeds I aim my palm at Randal still laying on the ground and say "This is for everyone you murdered in cold blood, all the innocent people that died for no reason, but to satisfy your blood lust, this is for Sora!" using every last drop of power, and energy I have, "Howl of the grey wolf!" The blast moving at speeds even I couldn't see, slams into the ground completely destroying the ground below. Where once stood the beautiful market of Raigo only molten earth, smoke, and clouds erupting with electricity crackling in the plumage of the smoke laid. With that last attack nothing remained not even Randal's body remained. I begin to fall unable to control myself or the decent I lose consciousness. When eventually I come to, I am in a cart; Rey starring at me beginning to cry, confused as to what is going on Rey began to explain everything that happened after I fell; how the citizens of Raigo came and picked me up, and carted me off with her in the cart how currently they are in the outskirts of the city because the entirety of the Riago military is looking for me. "how long have I been out for?" Rey sitting up, walks over to me, kneels down, and says " you've been asleep for four days, and we all thought you never would wake up again; what happened in that fight all we could see was flashes of lightning, and massive explosions?" Explaining what happened a look of complete shock ran across Rey's face. "Lord Fujin helped you in the fight?!" I nod confirming what I had just said. "Rey what do we do now with Sora gone?" Asking in a way because to see what she says, with no leader what do we do. Rey was the only one that knew Sora's grand plan. The wagon curtain opens, and a very familiar voice says, "I'll tell you what we do, we take the wind kingdom back for us children of lord Fujin, we recalim these lands for ourselves, and our people that's what we do." Leon smiling with the look of pure joy in his eyes.
