Walker Mansion, 1999.
"Olivia, let's leave this place. I have some money saved. It'll be enough for the two of us and our baby."
"But you know that your step mother won't approve Julian," Olivia spoke worriedly.
"You don't have to worry about her," Julian caressed her hair gently and looked at her lovingly, "She can't stop us," he assured her.
"Who is it!? Where is the maid who let that bastard step into the dining room?" shouted Ysabel to the maids who were all assembled inside the living room.
"It was Olivia Madam Ysabel," answered one maid, "She's the new maid Madam," she said.
"Where is she?" Ysabel spoke in gritted teeth.
"I saw her entering Mr. Julian's room earlier, Madam," the maid responded.
Upon hearing the maid, Ysabel immediately marched upstairs, going to Julian's room. The maids, who all wanted something to gossip about, followed Ysabel upstairs.
As soon as Ysabel opened the door, she saw the maid she was looking for being intimate with Julian. She was sitting on top of his lap and was kissing Julian lovingly.
Both Julian and Olivia instantly pulled away from each other when the door burst open.
"M-madam…" Olivia spoke nervously. She immediately stood up from Julian's lap and faced Ysabel.
"Really Julian? A maid?" Ysabel laughed at Julian mockingly, "Well, what can I say, birds of the same feathers really do flock together," she said.
"What do you want?" Julian asked. He stood up and pulled Olivia behind him.
Ysabel crossed her arms and walked closer to Julian, "I heard from the other maids that you stepped into the dining area this morning," she said. She grabbed Julian's face by the chin angrily, "Didn't I tell you that only family members can enter there?" she spoke in gritted teeth.
"I was the one who let him enter Madam!" Olivia confessed. She walked in front and bowed to Ysabel, Mr. Julian did nothing wrong, I was fixing the plates in the dining room and asked him for help," she said.
"Olivia," Julian held Olivia's wrist and pulled her back up, "I presented myself to help her, she did nothing wrong," he said.
Ysabel suddenly chuckled, "Don't try to do those drama scenes they do on TV," she mocked them, "Both of you want to take the blame? Fine! I'll be generous."
Ysabel suddenly grabbed both Olivia and Julian's hair and dragged them out of the room, "Both of you want to save each other huh!?" she shouted at them.
"Madam it hurts!" Olivia cried. Tears started to flow from her eyes as Ysabel continued to drag them by the hair.
Julian's heart broke hearing Olivia cry, "Please let go of her Ma'am Ysabel, she did nothing wrong," Julian pleaded.
"I thought both of you wanted to be punished?" with a strong pull, Ysabel lifted their heads; "Are you not happy that the both of you are in this together?" she smiled at Julian.
"Please, you can punish me all you want," Julian said, "Just let her go, please."
Ysabel looked at Olivia, "With you, pleading with me to let go of her is just making me want to punish her more," she said. She pulled Olivia's hair with a strong force which made the lady cry even more.
"Please!" Julian shouted, "Don't hurt her, just me please," he pleaded once again.
"Aww, what a hero," Ysabel mocked Julian, "You want to play superman to your little b*tch? Fine!" Ysabel let go of Olivia and turned to Julian. She raised her hand and was about to slap him, but someone suddenly grabbed her wrist.
"Don't hurt him please," Olivia pleaded, "He did nothing wrong, he just stepped in the dining room for a while. Does he deserve this?" she questioned Ysabel.
Ysabel glared at Olivia, "Let go of my hand," she spoke in gritted teeth.
"I will if you won't hurt Julian anymore," Olivia bravely said, "He doesn't deserve to be treated like this because he did nothing wrong! He's a part of this family! What's so wrong with entering the dining room?"
Ysabel suddenly laughed out loud, "What? A part of this family?" she spoke sarcastically, "Let go," she glared at Olivia but the lady didn't budge. She continued to hold Ysabel's wrist.
Wanting to let go, Ysabel tried to shake her off. She used her other hand to break free from Olivia's grip.
"Let go!" Ysabel shouted.
"Not until you calm down," Olivia answered.
Julian interfered between them, "Stop please!" he said, trying to separate the two women but he ended up being pushed by them. He stumbled on the floor and as he stood back up, loud rumbling sounds were suddenly heard.
"Olivia!" shouted Julian.
Ysabel and Olivia didn't notice that they were already near the staircase. Continuing their fight, Ysabel accidentally pushed Olivia while she tried to free herself.
Olivia came tumbling down from the 33-step staircase. She rolled and rolled down, until she reached the end.
Ysabel's eyes grew wide as she watched Olivia bowl down the stairs, "I… I…" she uttered.
Pushing Ysabel aside, Julian immediately ran downstairs.
Blood.
There was so much blood.
"Our… our b-baby…" Olivia spoke breathlessly as tears flowed down from her eyes, "Our baby," she cried while holding her stomach.
"I'll bring you to the hospital, just hang in there," Julian spoke worriedly. Tears started to come out from his eyes, "Just hang in there," he said.
"My stomach hurts," Olivia cried.
Julian brushed Olivia's tears, "We'll go to the hospital okay?" he caressed her face.
He was just about to lift Olivia up when the door or the mansion suddenly opened.
"What happened here?" Javier asked in surprise when he saw Julian holding Olivia, who was lying lifelessly on the floor surrounded by her own blood.
"Help me Javier," Julian pleaded, "Our baby," he cried.
Javier immediately ran towards Julian and handed him his car keys, "Use my car," he said.
Julian grabbed the keys from his hands immediately, "Thank you," he said. He lifted Olivia immediately and ran out of the house.
Javier followed behind him. He opened the door for them and closed it, "I will follow you there, drive safely," Javier said.
Julian just nodded. He started the car engine immediately and sped out of the mansion.
"I... I d-did not…" Ysabel suddenly collapsed on the floor, "I did n-not mean it…" she mumbled to herself.
Javier came running back inside the house and saw his mom sitting weakly on the floor.
"I didn't mean it," Ysabel continued to tell herself.
"What did you do this time Mom?!" Javier shouted angrily.
"I didn't mean it," Ysabel started to tear up. She was staring blankly to the spot where Olivia's blood was.
She looked at the pool of redness that was on the white floor of the mansion.
"I didn't…" She whispered before she collapsed.
"Mom," Javier shook Ysabel's body, "Mom! Wake up!" he shouted.
