Calian POV
I waved my hand around, trying to dispel the smoke around me as I arrived upon the button, clicking it down with the press of my index finger. "If you'd like to know our objective, then we're here to hijack this submarine for ourselves. As to who we represent, I can't really tell you that, can't I."
"Also, for your own safety and the rest of the crew remaining behind this blast door, I'd request for you to come out with your hands in the air, weapons dropped, we'll just tie you up, release your gas masks, let you sleep for a bit. Alas, this is all but a temporary hijack, we just want to borrow this submarine really. At the end of the day, you'll have it back without worry."
I finished, releasing my finger off the button, waiting for a response. "Borrow?! This?! You're after the Antarctic base?! You?!" Well, he's sharp, I don't think I even gave too much of any clue just then. I guess the destination already sums it up, in any case, "I think that's enough, please do turn off his communications, Jill."
"Wait?! What-" And the sound dropped, delightful. "So, anyone have thought on how we should proceed inside?" Crynn asked with a tone of contemplation, let me think for a second. "I could try to take out the admiral in one go?" I said with a tone that perfectly describes when one wouldn't be too sure on something and wouldn't put too much hope in it.
"How?" Aria interjected. "I'll be standing right in the middle behind the door, and everyone else will hide by the walls next to the door and only come in once situations start to escalate. What I'm going to do, you'll see later," This may very well bore huge consequences and a lot of bruises but if this works, I won't have a scratch on me.
"That sounds dangerous, you'll be the primary focus of everyone's bullets," V spoke with what seemed like a frown, or that's what I'm imagining in my head of what she looks like behind the helmet. "Have you forgotten of my umbrella. Also bulletproof, fires all types of bullets imaginable, I'll be fine," I mean, this is what I'm worried, will the power of modern ammunition puncture my umbrella.
I mean, back in the Kingsman world, only a 50 caliber has enough power to it to break through so I think it'll be fine. "So, just a heads up, you might want to take off the thermal goggles cause there won't be smoke behind the doors. Through some method, I did not notice what, but they had managed to remove the smoke and I don't know if that applies to the BZ gas as well but they still have gas masks on," Jill called from the earpiece.
"Also referring to the weapons the rear admiral and the two captains are sporting. The rear admiral has a unique choice of an automatic pistol and surprisingly a falchion which is a medieval sword," a sword? I looked at V, the most knowledgeable woman in here on the current times and trend, everyone else stared at her as well.
"It is well known that Militech's high ranking officers carry swords, some don't use them for battle while the ones that do are really good at it. Considering you've been living under a rock for so long, the world has changed from preference of using guns and knives in the early 21st century to using long bladed weapons and guns in the later 21st century," hmm... interesting, how the world has changed.
I guess the phrase to judge ones inadequacy before a fight, 'bringing a knife or a sword to a gunfight' doesn't really work around here. "I suppose I should use a different gun for this fight? Just need to make sure I'm aiming properly and do not hit any of the walls and accidentally cause a massive leak," and now, in her hand is the Han Solo laser blaster, I envy that a lot.
"So, are we set for the opening ceremony," that's quite a way to put it, Crynn but I think we are. And so we did, get to each of our desired positions, of course, the three others are all away from the sights of the crew once this door opens and only I shall be their focus. "Catch this V, I'm sure you know what to do with it," Crynn said as he tossed a flash bang over to V, nodding.
"Let me remind you not to shoot at any of the panels, at any of the devices, at any of the computers, we need them all safe," Jill warned, I wouldn't do that, I wouldn't want this submarine to suddenly lose all control all because of a stray bullet that hit a random important component, it won't be fun in the end.
I get into a kneeling position with my grip on the umbrella. I opened it up as the umbrella's shield arc towards the front, my hands wiggled around the shaft and handle, aiming not to miss. "The admiral is right in front, am I right?" I inquired to Jill as I switched the modes of rounds I'm going to fire and stopped at the electrocution shock.
"Yes he is, so done?" I looked around as everyone flashed their thumbs up at me as I said, "Done." The doors slowly opened as I peered into the tiny crevice at the beginning. I can see Morgan Blackhand on the center as I lined up a perfect shot, not into his head, that would be overkill, but into his chest.
As the door moved for a wider opening, I began to notice the men and women around, all with unflinching and unwavering gazes, they're ready to give their lives away, what good soldiers. But anyway, Pssht!!! The electrocution shock round passed by the shaft of barrel and out of the tip! It's going to hit him! Or not...
Blackhand leaned his body just a millisecond away from the tiny dart as it pierced into the ground at the back, electricity spurting out in huge amount all over that specific spot. If that didn't work, then this sure will! I still kept my optimism high as the crew hadn't started shooting and switched modes again.
Pssht!!! The round came out, expanding itself once free from the tip into an electrocuted net! Slash!!! What in the blasted worlds beneath!!! At the next moment, faster than my eyes could comprehend, Blackhand sliced his falchion up and down, cutting my iron wired net clean in half.
Oh crap... "Fire!!!" Blackhand gave the command, I have to say, this isn't going great. Ratatatatatatata!!! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! And so the fight starts...
