Calian POV
As always, this umbrella is a lifesaver, especially against pistol wielding enemies, take in mind, pistols that shoot metal not energy, haven't tried to test that out just yet, but I'm not keen on it. Pistols generally just can't pierce through the umbrella, it will stop upon hitting the cloth and just fall to the ground.
"Stop hiding behind that f*cking umbrella! You coward!!!" Ho ho ho, Thompson Maresh seems to be filled with an immense amount of rage, I guess my style of fighting is way too annoying for him, a dual wielding pistol user who can't even began to shoot past my umbrella as I continue to easily advance towards him.
But damn the guy has some incredible reflexes, just like the other two over there still fighting hard, one bloody, the other less so. I mean, I keep on releasing all my round as the guy but they just kept missing. Electricity round on the ground next to his feet, he jumped away in time to avoid the spurge of voltage.
Incendiary round? Well, he lifted up one of the seats and strictly blocked. I'm aiming not to kill him you know, or I would've just shot a sniper round then and there, he wouldn't be able to avoid the speed of that. Well, he can just keep taunting, although I may be an honorable man but as they say, there is darkness in light, and there's a sense of shamelessness in glory.
You see, every good knight and king must be cunning, deceitful, and calculating all while still maintaining their persona. Whoever said a knight must only have the qualities of being merciful, having humility, honor, sacrifice, faithfulness, courage, grace and courtesy towards women is sharply mistaken.
Richard the Lionheart was one of the examples, he is the king of England but most of all, a knight, a treacherous one at that. Ultimately, to become king, he rebelled and turned traitor and betrayal towards his father who was the time's king. And we all know, treachery is a misconduct in the knight's code of chivalry.
Anyway, knights and kings and all the the honorable men and women we have met in our life time are probably all schemers, pursing individual interests on social measures, very politically oriented and power hungry, basically and ultimately, a hypocrite. And I'm saying that I am too, I mean, why would I be ashamed of that when it is a norm.
Would we still be ashamed of ourselves if being nude was a public rule, of course not we wouldn't. Anyway, back to the main topic at hand, Thompson Maresh and his annoying as hell agility. I'm not just using this umbrella as a shield, but also an incredibly spear with a blunt but hurting tip. Have anyone ever been shoved with the tip of an umbrella at full force? I haven't, but I can imagine it to be so very painful.
Oh well, time to play dirty once more, I need to somehow, knock one of the guns off his hand to launch my fatality. So let's do that, focus on the hand while maintaining other alluding strikes. I maintained my posture as I slowly took every step forward by centimeters at a time. My umbrella constantly switching by the move of a button, changing forms between the defense and the offense.
It's a simple coordination ability and order really. First, use the shield whenever Thompson Maresh is shooting and going in with his gun, then in the middle of that, abruptly push forward while in the middle of the forms' transformation and as the umbrella turns into a spear, stab hard into the enemy, making him dodge and not have anytime to shoot and once he dodged, I re-elected my shield.
So yes, I'm a cowardice and there's nothing wrong with it, we are free to embrace whoever we want to be. "Dipshit!" There goes another curse and scolding from Thompson Maresh's mouth, he's charming man, he really is and saying words like that really deflates his so called 'harem protagonist halo' though I doubt he even had one in the beginning. I suppose he had a lot of lovers, but I sort of have as well, I guess that makes us even with the scales tipped to myself of course.
Anyway, I'm always quick thinker so let's get this done fast with only a few movement involved. First catch him of guard, press, shoot a decoy round on his face which he avoided as always and that's the start of my grand... I can't call it a scheme... game plan, yes that's what it is, my grand game plan towards unparalleled victory.
Anyway, with him dodging to the his left, my next move would target his right. Though not any fancy moves, battle is not about who is more elegant (It is) than the other but all about who won in the end. The histories of the world, who knows if they're correct, who knows if they're incorrect, after all, some or rather a lot might say, history is written by the victors.
There, with one lunge of my umbrella to his right rib, Thompson Maresh unknowingly left a huge gap in defense on his left, an opening I'm going to be fully taking advantage of. By quickly switching positions on my umbrella by maneuvering it so that as it pushed forward, it was abruptly moved to the left with such surprise that he isn't going to realize what happened.
As soon as my weapon entered in between his arm and his body, I opened it to full bloom and Maresh who hasn't enough focus to keep himself balance, staggered backwards with his left impacted by the umbrella's open as his gun was accidentally casted somewhere from his hand which is just what I need.
My right hand punched forward with a lot of force to imitate a real strike but what he isn't expecting is what comes after. "All that just for one little punch?" Maresh caught my fist in his as his tone suggests a severe case of underestimation with well an identical size of anger within. "A fist's always never just a fist," and there, Bzzzzzzzzt!!!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" That's all Maresh can say or even pronounce after an instance of a massive bout of electrocution. Yes, what he did not know was that on my right jab, contains a deadly surprise involving one Kingsman ring with a hell of an energy storage within and a discharge function to add on it.
Moral of the story in the end, I'm always the winner.
