Chapter 2 : New Life

The next day, early in the morning after breastfeeding her baby, she let her baby playing in the living room. Her 6 months baby was laying on the mat, full with squishy toys, after squeez and bite a silicon hello kitty toy in her hand, she flip her body, rolls to front and back, searching for her mother. When she saw her mother, she smile showing her gums and try to scoot to her mother but her body just scooting backwards.

Rosa who just sitting on the sofa a few step away from her daughter laugh seeing her frustrating face. "Come on, you can do it." She sit on the floor and clap her hand to cheers her baby.

Her baby cry asking for help but seeing her mother didn't move from the spot she push her hand and her knees try to crawl forward but fall down. However, she had move forward, realize that it one of the techniques to move forward the baby push again her hand and knees and fall down again. Her mother can't stop laughing at her new technique to move but she never stop to cheer her to come forward.

When finally the baby can touch her mother knees, Rosa quickly lift her up and kiss the chubby little cheek many time, it makes her baby giggle. "My baby is genius! Hahaha… Good girl! Good girl!"

Then she lay her baby on her laps and gently rub her baby tummy and chest. "Does it hurt? Your brother didn't make a unique crawl like that when he was a baby. He always make sure he didn't get hurt when doing something. You must learn to be careful too, ok? Don't hurt your little chubby body."

Seeing her mother babble so much, her hand touch her mother mouth and squeeze it tightly.

"Hey! You don't like when I was lecturing you!"

When her hands move with Rosa move mouth, the baby giggle, feeling funny at the vibration on her little hand.

"Ahh! It hurts! Please let go of me! Mia!"

A laugh echo in the living room, her sister morning face looks so pretty. Even though she at her almost 40's, she still look young matured lady. She had white skin like Rosa but her long hair is straight and red. "Your daughter is indeed genius. She know how to keep your mouth seal."

Her daughter let go her hand and look at her aunty with big eyes. She was bored she wanted new friend and explore the new environment. Rosa saw her baby anticipating face and she stand up holding her baby and put on Olivia, her sister hands.

"Hey!" Olivia hand shaking while holding the baby. Her sister has peaceful and loving marriage but she don't have a child.

"Mia wanted to play with you. You can walk around while holding her, she will be very happy." Rosa adjust her baby on Olivia arms. Make sure her baby is comfortable in her sister hand.

"I had to make breakfast for my husband."

"Oh he's back already?"

"Yes. He came home at 10 last night, you had sleep early." Olivia feel much confident after the baby had relax on her arms.

"I will prepare it, what you want for breakfast?"

They slowly walk to the kitchen and Olivia watch her Rosa make omelet, bread toast and a soup of potato for her baby. After she had serve the table, a tall man with a beer belly come to the dining room. He was once very handsome but after married her sister, he still looks handsome but his stomach shows how much her sister like to pamper him with food.

He had a big smile in his face when he saw his wife playing with a baby on her arms, he come near her wife and greet her wife with a deep kiss on her forehead.

"Honey look, Damia likes to play with me." Proudly she announced it.

Olivia husband smile warmly and his hand squeeze gently on the chubby little cheek. "Yes, she does." Then he take a sit beside her and look at Rosa who also had sit on the dining table. "Morning Rosa, do you sleep well today?"

Rosa smile showing her grateful. "Yes. I did. Even Mia had a good sleep too."

"Lets eat, today Rosa make us a breakfast." Olivia give back the baby on Rosa arms and serve her husband food on his plate.

"So, have you thought about it?" While eating, Olivia Husband ask. He is a businessman and straightforward person, so he don't like to beat around the bush.

Rosa glance her sister angrily but smile to her brother in law, her baby who is in her lap, was munching a potato on her hand sloppily.

"Well, I need to know first what kind of business it is and get more detail about the business. I am not really good with it, but if it has some potential, I try to help make it work and if it doesn't you should pull your investment out." Rosa is 25 years old. She and her lover 5 years ago were poor but they both had a same patient on making money.

She had been work hard built a business together with her lover until they manage to own some restaurant and small hotels. Success on making money and can live with comfort, her once lover propose her and they get married. She was only 20 years old when she get married and have a son at 21 years old. It was their first anniversary, she caught her husband cheating with his new secretary.

"We can look at the place this afternoon, you can learn all about it there."

"Have you told your friend?"

Olivia husband sigh and sip his coffee before continue. "He is not here for few more days but I assure you, I had been discuss with him before, to find a suitable manager. He don't mind about it."

Rosa nod while wiping her baby mouth. Her daughter push her mother hand and greedily looking at the plate in front of her, she wants more food.

That afternoon, Bina wear a black jumpsuit with a long sleeve, she didn't bring much of her cloth so, her cloths were prepared by her sister, a fashion designer. She had her own brands and some boutique on several country. Her sister was very happy looking at her jumpsuit on Rosa body. She usually design for tall modern woman, its her first time to design a cloth suitable for Rosa which is easily to breast feeding and short. Even though she was very small, she had a big hip that she gains after she had born 2 kids. It makes her body look more like a lady with a shape. Her chubby little daughter is wearing matching jumpsuit, but it was pink color with a black word on it 'My Mom Rocks!'.

In the BMW sedan car, Olivia husband was driving and three of girls in the back sit, playing with the energetic baby. The chubby little cheek, shaken for every jump that she makes, her legs was strong and happily bounce it from Rosa laps. After an hour, they arrived at double story café.

Rosa nod her head looking at the well design café and the strategic place. William, Olivia husband, ask her to look first inside the café. She wear baby carrier in her front, letting the baby facing in front. The baby sway her legs excitedly looking at new place. Slowly she walks into the café. There are only 1 table was occupied by a couple. The interior design was very modern, The wall painted with white and the chairs and table was black. Rosa walk towards the display cake, it has 5 different beautiful cakes, however her eyes was looking sharp at the top of the display cake, it was very dusty. Then she walks to the side of counter and ring a bell on the cashier table.

She rings twice but there are no people come to greet her. She ring it again 3 times, no one came, she look around and the couple who is not so far from her said.

"You had to shout a little bit. They will come." The girl said with helpless smile.

Rosa smile and shout. "Helloooo. Hello!" her daughter hand busily stretching, wanted to play the ring on the table. Seeing her daughter struggled, she let her daughter play with it and the annoying bell, echo loudly in the café.

"Hey! Stop it! It really annoying." A young man come from the door of staff room. He wear a black t-shirt and jeans with messy hair, looks like he just have some napping before. The boy quickly pull the bell from the baby to stop the noise and look at Rosa with annoying face.

"Yes? Can I help you?" He said with a yawn without hold his mouth.

Rosa smile and nod three times. So, everything looks good, but the service is bad. Looks like he the only worker here. "I would like to have a slice of every cakes and an ice blended green tea."

"Take away?"

"Dine in, please."

The boy lazily make a bill to her and ask her to sit after she had paid the bill. Not so long, a young girl with short boy haircut come out from the staff room, wearing a black t-shirt like the young man with a jeans and sneakers.

"Sophia! You are late again!" The young man throw a kitchen towels towards the girl.

The girls laugh out loud and pat the young man shoulder. "Relax, Zack! I'm here now right?" Then she look around the café. "Look, there's not much people, what are you angry for? Is not much hard to serve customer."

"Ice blended green tea" He put a cup on Sophia hand and he bring a tray of slice of cake towards Rosa to serve.

"Would you like a baby chair?" The young ask after seeing the baby is sitting on the table, biting her hello kitty, while Rosa support her baby body.

"Yes. Thank you."

After put her baby into the baby chair, she look at the cakes and eat it one by one. The baby look at the cakes eagerly with a biscuit baby in her mouth. The cake was very delicious but there something missing on it. After a few bites, Olivia and her husband come and sit in the same table.

"Sir William." The young man greet William after saw them sit.

William nod. "Where's the document?"

"Oh! Wait, I will come back and bring it."

After some time, the young man put a lot of file and paper to the table. While William and Olivia playing with her baby, Rosa busily check every file of it. The baby like to see new people so, Sophia, one of the workers also play with the baby. After 3 hours straight, Rosa put down the last file with a sigh of relieve.

"How is it?" William ask.

"This business has no problem at all."

The baby which in Olivia arms saw her mother already put the file away, she cry waving her hand to her mother. She tired of playing and miss her mother. Rosa pick her up and patting her back gently.

"Then how this café didn't have any customer?" Olivia ask.

Rosa laugh, still patting her daughter, coax to sleep. "It just like you said, the big boss is lazy bum."
