Visiting the mall

on her way out, Eva sees a delegation of formal people outside of john office and they all look her like she fell from the sky as john described, "I understand now, I look like a college student, everyone here are so formal and I am wearing a casual outfit of jeans, a t-shits and sport shoes", she thinks and then look at her holo-watch, "victor how I get to nearest mall?", she asks and then on the holo-watch pops a map to a mall in walking distance, on her way to the mall Eva passes what can be only described as the main street of sky-city Eva now understands "maybe I am in another earth, but those people act like in mine earth", she thinks as she loos at people waking by her,

And then it hits her, "this situation is so absurd, I am on another earth in another year and I just walked out from the office of the most powerful human in this earth looking like an average college student", she says to herself.

She enters the mall and gasps, in her earth AI never goth further then simple autonomous robots that help explorers and industry people. And here there are everywhere, in the enter an AI Attendant on holo-screen welcomes her, "hello mis Walk, welcome to the sky city central mall, what you are searching for?", the Attendant asks, "I need a place to but formal clothing", Eva replies, "here you go", the Attendant says and sends to Eva's watch a store location, "and don't forget your helper bot", the Attendant adds and a small robot designed to carry bags arrives and follows her to the store.

As she gets into a store for formal outfits and is welcomed by another AI Attendant, "hello, miss walk, let me escort you to our fitting booth", the Attendant says and shows Eva the fitting booth, after entering the booth the AI analyzes Eva's appearance gives and her several options, Eva is astonished how accurate the AI predicted her taste.

She buys several outfits andpays with her holo-watch, and goes to another stores buying shoes, sunglasses and some little souvenirs because she wants to be sure that it all really happened when she will get back to her earth.

On her way to exist the same AI Attendant that welcomed her to the mall appears, "thank you for buying here, where to send your new items", the Attendant asks where to send the items she bought, Eva is confused as she doesn't know john's address, so victor intervenes "send it to the presidential residence ", Victor commands the Attendant, "your items will be there in an hour, thank you for buying here miss Eva walk, have a nice evening", the Attendant says as Eva leaves the mall.

Eva gets outside the mall and asks victor to get her back to john home, she had enough for today, an autonomous car gets to her location, this time the car is empty, on the way Eva wonders if things could get more astounding.

She gets to john house and she sees that the item she bought is already in her room, being put into a closet by a robot maid.

Eva takes a shower, and gets ready to sleep, then john knocks on ger door, "so how was your day?", he asks ,"it was overwhelming, the autonomous cars, the AI, your speech, and the mall, I saw things we only start to discuss development in my earth, I think I saw enough for the day, I am quite tired so I will go to sleep soon", she replies, "I am happy you enjoyed the day, I will leave you alone because you look like you need a good rest, if you need anything just knock on my rooms door, good night!", john says with a smile.

"good night John", Eva says as john leaves the room and Eva goes to the bed and falls asleep almost immediately.

Meanwhile john enters a room that looks like his ship command room, "Victor tell me about Eva's day", john commands the AI, "she visited the federation museum where she went on a tour who taught her about the formation of the federation, afterwards she met with you and her last location was the sky city central mall where she shopped for clothing and souvenirs", Victor tells john, "great, I am happy to know that she had quite the day", john says and then he opens a hologram showcasing 'The Alpha', " now victor give me an update about 'The Alpha' upgrades, we need to be prepared to what will happen when we get back to Eva's dimension.", john asks the AI,"the upgrades are on par with the plan the upgraded shield and warp-drive already in manufacturing process and the new black-hole missiles assembled as we speak, now about the relics that the Zang are using I scanned them and found out that the civilization didn't go extinct as we first thought, but they were from another dimension ,and those relics are from an outpost they abandoned couple millennia's ago, I still researching their origin but it seems they didn't do a lot of inter-dimensional travel, I will update when I have more data on their whereabouts", Victor notifies john, "do the Zang know?", john asks with worried face, "no they just exploit their weaponry systems and warp tech, as my scans show their Scientists aren't even close to understanding inter-dimensional technology, also the reactor of that outpost didn't survive the time so they don't have even the energy capability to go inter-dimensional", Victor replies as john takes a breath of relief and then he looks at the data, "find about the inter-dimensional civilization and keep tabs about the Zang progress we don't want more surprises.", he commands victor, "yes, sir I will update you when I have a new information", Victor responds.

John exits the room and goes to get ready for sleep, "it is a beginning of something far bigger than he expected, but if I came so far It has no point to stop and to think it all was a dream few years ago, so from here it can only get more exiting", he thinks as he enters his bed.
