A new upgrade

"Entering sol system, engaging Eris base for final upgrades", Victor announces.

'The Alpha' lands inside its Eris hanger, and while the last upgrades being done, john takes Eva on a tour inside Eris.

"wow this place is big, does the base cover all the surface?", Eva asks john while they travel the base using john's car.

"yes, and also it goes deep inside up the core of Eris, I have a lot of facilities here for testing all kind of technology, our first stop is victor main server room".

They enter into a room containing a lot of servers and computers and in the center of the room there are sevral quantum processors.

"this is the brain of my AI victor, the smartest AI in the galaxy, I have several more of those room across the galaxy in hidden places for backup but this is the main one".

"so this what powers Victor, I heard about quantum computers, but it seems you are decades or even centuries ahead of my earth technology".

"this what helped me with a lot of breakthrough's, without victor computing power I never could find out the physics behind inter-dimensional travel, that's why Eris is no enter zone, I don't want people to try to harm this place, because if the rumor of Victor true capabilities speared, it only will bring bad things with it".

"now follow me, I want to show you something Else", john says as Eva goes with john inside another facility.

"I call this place, john upgrade room, here I developed all tech inside of me, like my chip and the high G skeleton upgrades, now I want to offer you something, I want to give you your own chip, it is similar to mine, you could see more things, respond faster and also monitors your health, you can say no and it will be fine", john says to Eva.

Eva thinks about it and says "can it be removed?", she asks.

"yes, at your will", john replies.

"ok so let's do it", she says as john orders victor to bring him a chip and he enter the chip inside of injector.

"I need you to turn your back to me, it will hurt a little bit", john tell Eva who turns her back to john and feels a sting in the back of her neck.

"great the chip in position, let's turn it on", john says after looking at the medical computer.

And then Infront of Eva's eye's hologram appears showcasing a menu she tries to touch it with her hand but with no success.

"don't touch, look at what you want and choose it".

Eva looks at one of the options 'heat vision' and chooses it, and for her surprise she sees every heat signature around her, she looks at john and sees his heat signatures and then look at her arms and she sees her own heat signature coming from them.

"how I turn this off?", Eva asks.

"simple, just think to turn it off", john replies.

Eva thinks "turn off", and her sight get back to regular, "what else I get from this chip?", and without hesitation john throws from her behind something and in a moment, Eva senses it and catch's it and it's a new holo-watch.

"this is also yours, this one has a drone inside of it for protection and it can sync with your chip, and for the chip itself you will get used to it", john says to Eva while putting the watch on her left wrist, Eva looks at the watch and smiles, "he really cares about me", she thinks and looks back at john, "it is time to head back to 'The Alpha'", john says and they return to the ship and set a course towards Earth.
