CHAPTER 3 - THE TRAIN 1

Andrew's father got up from his chair and after a slight stretch. He took the car keys and said.

"Come on champion, your mom and I want to meet Harry too, so remember to introduce us."

Shaking his head at his father, Andrew pulled out his enchanted backpack (similar to Newt Scammander's briefcase) and got in the car with his parents.

As soon as he arrived, he and his parents sat on one of the benches and waited for Harry and Hagrid at the entrance to King's Cross.

It didn't take long for the two to show up, Hagrid seeing that the Jacobs were already waiting for them, waved, and after saying a few words to Harry, he disappeared.

"Hey Harry, these are my parents, William and Sara Jacobs."

Harry bowed and said, "It's nice to meet you."

Seeing how the boy behaved in their presence, William and Sara looked at each other and started laughing.

"Relax boy, you don't have to be so formal." William patted Harry's back. "I must say that you look a lot like your father, I hope Snape doesn't end up having a tantrum when he sees you."

"Who?" Harry asked confused.

"One of your teachers who ... cough ..." William avoided Harry's gaze, realizing that he almost said something he shouldn't have said.

Realizing her husband's mistake, Sara chuckled and said.

"Nice to meet you, Harry, don't listen to my husband, he always says a lot of rubbish." She laughed before hugging Harry a little. "I used to be one of your mother best friends, I can see her kindness in you, I'm sure you will become a great wizard."

"Uh, thanks..." Harry answered a little baffled, he wanted to ask something but didn't know if he should.

"Anything you want to ask, Harry?"

Nodding the boy asked, "Are you the same Jacobs on the science books? The ones that work with chemistry?"

Smiling, William and Sara said at the same time, "Yes!"

Harry almost couldn't believe what he heard, he never thought he would meet such famous people.

Andrew almost started laughing at Harry's expression, however, he got a glimpse of the clock on the ceiling and almost choked to death.

"Harry we've got to run! It's almost time to depart!"

Nodding to each other, both said their farewell and ran to the platform nine and three-quarters.

Andrew's parents just smiled at the scene and went back to the car.

When Harry and Andrew reached the point between platforms 10 and 9, Andrew noticed that Harry panicked.

"What is it, Harry?"

"W-where's the platform at? How are we going to catch the train!?"

Seeing the reason for Harry's concern, Andrew just laughed and pointed to the barrier between the platforms where a family with flaming red hair was.

They arrived just in time to see a pair of twins hit the barrier with their trolley and disappear, almost as if they were never there.

Harry and Andrew approached the family just when the youngest boy in their group was about to enter, but before he could, the plump woman turned to them with a smile on her face and after seeing Harry chocked looks she asked.

"First time at Hogwarts?"

Seeing that Harry couldn't answer, flabbergasted because of the scene, Andrew answered.

"Yes, ma'am."

"Don't worry," she said. "All you have to do is walk straight at the barrier between platforms nine and ten. Don't stop and don't be scared you'll crash into it, that's very important. Best do it at a bit of a run if you're nervous. Go now before Ron."

Nodding, Andrew ran towards the barrier and went right through it. Behind him, came Harry and Ron.

He and Harry went to one of the compartments at the back, and after some talk with the twins who discovered Harry's identity, both sat on their seats and looked through the window at the interaction of the funny family.

A few minutes later, the compartment door opened and the younger redhead entered.

"Anyone sitting there?" he asked, pointing to one of the free seats next to Andrew. "Everywhere else is full".

They shook their heads and welcomed the boy.

After seating, Ron looked at Harry for a moment, then quickly turned to the window pretending he didn't look at him.

Soon after the twins knocked on the door of the compartment and entered.

"Hey, Ron."

"Listen, we're going down the middle of the train — Lee Jordan's got a giant tarantula down there."

"Right," mumbled Ron.

"Harry," said the other twin, "did we introduce ourselves? Fred and George Weasley. And this is Ron, our brother. See you later,

then."

"Bye," said the trio, The twins slid the compartment door shut behind them.

Before Ron could even ask, Andrew that noticed his early glances said.

"Yes, he is the boy who lived."

Ron looked at Andrew as if he was some kind of divination master.

"It was obvious that you were going to ask..." Said Andrew while he shook his head.

"I thought it was one of Fred and George's jokes, do you remember anything of the day, you-know-who did that?"

Harry shook his head and said, "Not much, just a lot of green light."

Andrew seemed to notice the weird atmosphere and said, "Okay let's forget this subject and talk about something else. Judging by your features, you should be a Weasley, correct?"

Ron nodded and said, "My family is indeed the Weasleys, we are one of the Sacred Twenty-Nine."

Harry looked at him confused and said.

"What is the 'Sacred Twenty-Nine'?"

This time Andrew was the one who answered.

"Families like mine, the Jacobs, and the Weasleys, are considered the remaining true pureblood British families. Do you remember the rat-boy? He is a Malfoy, also one of the 'Sacred Twenty-Nine'."

Ron looked at Andrew surprised and asked, "Wait, you are Andrew Jacobs? Damn, what is happening today? One celebrity after the other!"

"What do you mean?" Harry asked while looking at Andrews, trying to understand why he called him a celebrity.

"You don't know? Most of the 'Sacred Twenty-Nine', mainly the ones that supported you-know-who, hates the Jacobs because of how connected they are with the muggles. They are probably the most infamous family for the pureblood supremacists." Ron said while looking at Harry

"What do you guys mean when you say pureblood?"

"Basically, families with a long history of wizards in their family tree, and close to none muggle-born, half-blood or squibs, are considered pureblood families," Andrew said while looking through the window. "They believe that the purer the blood, then higher is the power of the wizard, but this is just a lot of bullshit, history has already proven that power does not necessarily come from blood, at least 40% of the most powerful mages in history weren't pureblood."
