Uncharted Part 4 Final Part!!

With Nate and my help, we quickly cleared out all of Gabriel's men that were shooting at us outside of the church. Nate looked at me with a happy smile on his face.

Nate: "good to see you alive and kicking," he said with a smile on his face. "Where were you? We tried to find you but never found a sign of you at all," he said worriedly.

I looked at Nate and Sully, debating on whether I should tell them about the creatures but then decided that it's better to have help than nothing.

Joseph: "When I landed, I was knocked out and dragged by creatures with black eyes back to their nest to be their food or something." I said towards Nate, who pauses for a second before resuming to walk again.

Nate: "so you got away from the Descendants." he said to me with a worried look on his face.

I look at Nate in surprise at what he just said. Nate saw my shocked face and continued his explanation.

Nate: "when I was searching for information on what they are, they were the previous colonists that stayed here whatever that treasure is; it should not fall into the wrong hands." he said with conviction in his eyes.

When I saw Nate like this, I just smiled at him. Though he is a thief, he always does the right thing sometimes.

When we reached the altar, Nate and I pushed the platform to reveal the secret passageway. Sully looked at us confusingly and asked what creatures were talking.

Sully: "You mind telling me what's going on?" he said, confused written on his face.

Nate: "Drake didn't want the treasure to get off the island; he was trying to stop it from leaving!"

Nate said to Sully's question.

Joseph: "Yeah, whatever the treasure is, it turned all the colonists who lived here before to something different." I said in terror before continuing where I left off. "No matter what, we need to keep the treasure off from anyone's hands."

When we reached the room with the golden coffin Nate, Sully, and I readied our weapons when we entered slowly to the place, I felt danger coming behind me. I wanted to disarm the person behind me. Still, Nivaro came with Elena on hand while he pointed the gun on her head. I aborted my plan on retaliating and stayed silent.

Gabriel: "HaHaHa...You two should realize by now I plan every contingency." he said while scanning at us but was surprised that he saw me. "Have I seen you before, do please tell me your name."

I just stayed quiet, not answering his question. When Gabriel saw me not answering his question, he looked at one of the men that pointed the gun on my back and nodded at them. The man grabbed a knife and stabbed me on the right shoulder.

I screamed in pain while Nate and Sully were surprised at what Gabriel did to me. They were about to retaliate, but I quickly answered Gabriel's question not to get Elena killed.

Joseph: "... My name is Joseph Maiava…" I said, struggling with pain on my shoulder.

When Gabriel heard my name, he looked excited and laughed at me.

Gabriel: "hahaha... The Devil himself in the flesh, how's your left arm and right eye," he said with disdain on his face.

When I heard him talk about my disabilities, I looked at him to confirm if I had met him before. To no surprise, I never met him back when I was in SCP.

Joseph: "...Who are you?..." I said, trying to get his real identity. "Do I know you from somewhere?"

Gabriel: "it is not my identity that matters, but the boss above me, you should care about you know him very well." he said with a wicked smile on his face. "Well, it doesn't matter; you will meet him soon when I finish collecting this golden idol."

Gabriel looks at both Nate and Sully.

Gabriel: "drop your weapons on the pool of water." he said with a smile on his face. "Or we will kill her," he said while pointing at Elena, who was a worried look on her face.

Without a choice, both Sully and Nate dropped their guns into the pool below them. When Gabriel saw this, he turned his head towards the idol and expected it.

Gabriel: "it's magnificent... The craftsmanship. I've never seen anything like this before." he said with a look of amazement on his face.

Navarro: "that's only a shell," he said with a slight smile. "The real treasure of eldorado lies inside."

Gabriel, not seeing the slight smile on Navarro's face, opened the idol and saw an ancient corps inside. When he inhaled some particles coming off from the old corps, Gabriel started coughing. Gabriel quickly closes the treasure and looks at Navarro with a betrayed look. While transforming, he rushed toward Navarro with mad rage on his face while his eyes turned utterly pitch black. Navarro killed him by shooting his head.

Navarro looked at us and explained his master plan on selling this to the right buyer who wanted to weaponize this treasure. While that was happening, his men hooked up the golden coffin to the helicopter.

Then I felt danger all around us; I heard a feral howl nearby and looked at Nate, who also knows what to do. Sully and Nate disarmed the man who was behind them and shot the man that stabbed me. Sully helped me up and gave me a shotgun.

Sully: "Nate, go on ahead, Joseph, and I will give you covering fire," he said towards Nate, I also nodded at Nate.

Nate thanked us and ran towards the treasure while Sully and I gave him covering fire. It only took Nate a minute when he already got toward the idol that's lifted by a helicopter. Seeing Nate leave with the golden coffin, Sully and I ran forward to find our way out while being chased by creatures behind us. After a few minutes, we saw an empty boat with dead pirates dragged by Descendants away from the boat. Without hesitation, we got on board the ride off. I sat down to take a break. Sully sees this chat with me.

Sully: "So.. The Devil, how did you get a name like that, " he said with curiosity in his eyes while he drives the boat.

I was patching up my wounds on my right shoulders, not answering Sully's question.

Sully saw that I'm not answering his question, just sighed.

Sully: "being silent, huh… I guess we all have our secrets we wanted to keep.," he said, not minding me being silent throughout the ride. I looked at the suspicious covered crates and removed the covers. What I saw surprised me, I called out Sully to look at this.

Joseph: "Sully, better look at this," I said with a surprised look on my face, "it's the treasure that the pirates were loading on this boat."

When Sully heard my words, he turned around and saw crates full of gold.

Sully: "Hahaha... Kid, you are lucky, cover that up, we will surprise Nate with this," he said with excitement on his face. I did what he asked me and covered the treasure again.

When we finally reach the boat that Nate and Elena were on. Sully and I saw Nate trying to kiss Elena. To which Sully interrupted them.

Sully: "You two have a funny idea of romance." Sully said while interrupting Nate and Elena's kiss. I just stayed silent.

Nate: "Sully! Joseph.. wow... Both of you look like hell." he said with an awkward look on his face.

Sully: "you should see the other pirates; they don't fare so well with the Descendants." he said while laughing. "Got us a boat."

Elena: "uh, we already have a boat." she said with a funny look on her face while pointing at the ship they're on right now.

Nate: "Yeah, big boat." he said with a smile on his face."

Sully just laughed at them; he looked at me, signaling me to remove the covers.

Sully: "I like this one better," he said with a smile on his face, while I removed the covers of the crates. Both Elena and Nate were surprised at what they saw.

Nate: "Sully, you beautiful sonofabitch!" he said with an excited look on his face while pointing his hands at Sully.

Sully: "don't thank me, thanks, Joseph here, he found it." Sully said while pointing at me. To which I smiled at them, Sully, Nate, Elena, and I laughed in celebration.

While on the boat, Nate was looking at the island, thinking about something. Elena went toward Nate to talk to Nate.

Nate: "sorry, you didn't get your story," he said with a guilty look on his face towards Elena.

Elena: "ah, that alright. There'll be other stories out there." she said in regret in her tone.

When I heard this, I went up to them and spoke to them.

Joseph: "Nate, Elena… I almost forgot to give this back to you," I said while handing back Elena's camera. "and the camera is still worked last time I checked it"

Elena and Nate were surprised at what they saw.

Elena: "how did you manage to get this back," she said in shock when she reviewed her footage—but replaced with sadness when she found some corrupted footage.

Joseph: "I got it when I escaped from being food for The Descendants." I said while laughing. "Sorry, though, I can't retrieve the lost footage," I said before leaving both of them alone.

Elena: "You still owe me my lost footage, you know." Elena said toward Nate.

Nate: "I'm good for it." he said with a smile on his face while hugging Elena on the side.

---in an undisclosed area of the world---

In a dark room, a man sat in a wheelchair. Half of his face is healthy, while the other burned off. He has a right prosthetic arm; both of his legs are gone. The man was currently working on his computer, trying to finish something. A man interrupted his work.

???: Dr. Shou Tucker, Gabriel Roman failed his mission to retrieve Eldorado," the man said with a stoic face.

Dr. Shou showed an annoyed face toward the man. He asked the Man what went wrong.

Dr.Shou: "Rion Steiner, what went wrong with the expedition." he said with anger on his face.

Rion: "the expedition failed because of Joseph Maiava and Nathan Drake." Rion said with a stoic face.

When Dr. Shou heard the name of Joseph Maiava, he laughed in madness.

Dr. Shou: "The Devil himself foiled my plans again." he said with a face full of madness. Dr. Shou brought out a photo of Joseph when he was still a test subject.

Dr. Shou: "Don't worry, Mr. Maiava, you would meet me soon." he said toward the Photo of Joseph, then burst into wicked laughter. While Rion Steiner just stands there waiting for orders.
