Lara's worries
---Jonah pov---
Alex and I are searching for Sam and a man named Mathias, who took Sam away from Lara when she fell asleep due to being tired. I looked at Alex, who was distracted when we first found Lara, who was caught by a bear trap and fighting for her life. Alex looked at me and started asking me questions about Joseph.
Alex: "Jonah, I know that I shouldn't pry into your reasoning; why did you give false hope to Lara that Joseph is still alive." he said while shining his bright flashlight on to me. I looked at Alex and stayed silent. "It's worse enough that she thinks she is responsible for all of this now; you gave her hope that might break her heart in the future when she finally finds out that Joseph is dead."
Jonah: "my brother is still alive somewhere on this island; I could feel his energy." I said while looking towards Alex, who wasn't looking too pleased with what I just said.
Alex: "Look, Jonah, I don't want Lara to cry right in front of us again, and I don't want her crying again over your brother who broke her heart," he said while looking at me with an angry look on his face. "What makes you think that Joseph deserved another chance with Lara, your brother is an idiot for letting her go." when I heard his words; I just sighed in disappointment.
Jonah: "My brother doesn't think straight sometimes, he was a mess when he came back home years ago now he looked happier with Lara." I said with a smile on my face. "Besides that, everyone should get a second chance." Alex looked at me with a frown on his face.
Alex: "So do you blame Lara for getting us here on this island," he said while following me in the forest. "I mean, Reyes believed that it is Lara's fault for getting us stranded here on this godforsaken island."
Jonah: "I don't blame Lara, I just hope that she doesn't blame herself for everything that is happening here, I don't want a female version of my brother," he said while laughing out loud. "I would hate to take care of both my brother and Lara at the same time." Alex looked at me and rolled his eyes.
Alex: "whatever man let's get back to Reyes, she might have an idea of where Sam is right now."

---Lara pov---
I am currently climbing the radio tower to call for help. I have met up with most of the people I know on the ship, which made me sigh in relief when they are not dead because of me. But one thing that has cast a shadow in my heart is Jonah's looked when I asked him about Joseph.
Jonah told me that Joseph is still alive somewhere on this island. But the look in his eyes didn't say that he was still alive. When I saw his sad look on his face, I wanted to cry in grief towards Joseph, but Jonah said that he could feel his brother is still alive somewhere on this island. I don't usually believe in Jonah's feelings, but this time, I accepted his reasoning for no reason.
But this looming shadow in my heart intensified when I killed a man who is about to rape me. I felt like vomiting, but something in my mind didn't let me. After that, it became easy to take a life that scared me. What would Joseph think when he saw me killing people in cold blood, he would be scared of me. All of a sudden, while climbing up the tower, Roth called me.
Roth: "Lara, are you there... Lara, do you copy." I quickly picked up my radio and answered Roth's call.
Lara: "I am here, Roth, I am a bit busy right here," I said while holding on to the ladder with one hand.
Roth: "Lara, Joseph is alive" when I heard that Joseph is still alive, my eyes teared up in joy but were replaced with terror. I quickly talked back to Roth on the radio.
Lara: "Where is Joseph right now can I talk to him? If he is there, please tell him not to come after me." I said, desperately trying not to let Joseph see my current condition.
Roth: "I am afraid that Joseph is right now coming for you right now" when I heard his words, my world crumbled before me. I put back the radio in my belt and thought to myself how to explain myself to Joseph. Then I suddenly thought of something and whispered to myself.
Lara: "I just need to avoid Joseph." With this thought in mind, I hurriedly climbed up the tower, trying not to let Joseph see me.

---Joseph pov---
After a few minutes of climbing, I finally found myself near a military bunker. I looked around and found lots of dead bodies. I checked their bodies and saw an arrow through their head. My mind stopped for what took like forever before getting my head back together.
Joseph: "Lara, who trained you how to fight." I said in amazement as I see more dead bodies lying around.
I went inside the building and found more dead bodies, which I ignored, but my head was filled with who Lara is right now. When I reached the building with a zip line, I used my bionic arm and zipped right down the building. When I reached the end of the line, I jumped straight down into the cold, shallow water below.
I walked down the hallway and saw a metal door that was blasted open. I heard someone struggling and slowed down my walking speed to not attract attention. I slowly walked into the room that was crumbling from the expulsion. I scanned the room and saw a man who was trapped under large building debris.
The man noticed me and started scrambling in terror, trying to get something to defend himself with, I didn't bother about the man who was trying to find a weapon and began questioning him.
Joseph: "who did this," I said while pointing the debris around the room. The man looked at me in terror and answered my question.
Man: "the girl we were supposed to kill did all of this by herself," I slowly walked past the man and walked down the hallway. I entered the room and saw an excellent ambush area; my heartbeat rose for a second before sighing in relief. When I scanned the room, there were only Salarii men who are now dead.
While walking over the dead men I saw someone is still alive, I walked towards him and saw terror in his eyes. He started shouting in terror as he tried to crawl away from me.
Man: "get away from me, monster!" he said, trying to crawl away from him, I looked at this and walked away toward the control room.
When I reached the control room, I heard a phone call. I summoned my phone and saw that Hana was calling me. I looked up toward the radio tower and used my eyes to zoom in toward the top of the radio tower. There I saw Lara, who was at the top of the tower. When I saw this, my jaw hit the ground as I saw Lara fixing the tower. Without thinking, I accepted the call from Hana.
Hana: "boss we finally able to reach you, where are you, boss? Your signal went missing when you reached the Dragon's triangle." she said desperately toward me, who was still surprised at what Lara has done by herself.
Joseph: "yeah... I.. just got distracted." I said, trying to shake off my surprised look towards Lara. "anyways, can you get an extraction team sent toward my way."
Hana: "no, we can't boss; there is some kind of unknown source of power trying to sink the ship that gets near the island you are in right now." when I heard this, my face was now frowning at this news. "And also there is another problem, there seemed to be a Trinity cargo ship nearby."
Joseph: "then stay on standby until I fix this and also call for more backup to secure this island. I don't want trinity hands all over this island," I said when suddenly I heard a plane nearby. I looked up but only saw the plane being struck by lighting and crashing down and hearing a Japanese woman talking.
???: [NO ONE LEAVES]
Joseph: "scratch that just stay on standby together with reinforcement. It might take a while before it is safe to enter the island." I said while hanging up the call. I was going to go after Lara when Roth called me through the radio.
Roth: "Kid have you seen enough of what Lara is capable off by herself" when I heard his words I stayed silent, but Roth took my silence, as a yes "you know what Lara is capable of doing, you should probably now came back to the village Lara has told me she is coming back to me up with me."
