Heading Back to Yamatai
---Lara pov---
Matsu pressed the gun on my head; I saw a red dot on his men behind him. All of a sudden, the glass behind me suddenly breaks. The men in a black suit are now lying on the ground dead while somewhere injured.
I saw that Matsu was now distracted; I grabbed a bottle of beer that Jonah was drinking and smashed it on his head. We then started running out of the bar and headed to the streets. While we were running, armored men stopped us. I was going to fight them, but then I saw the fox logo on their shoulders. There is only one group of soldiers that have that Logo.
Lara: "Joseph's Mercenary group FoxHound..."
FoxHound #1: "Mam, we will be holding them off; you need to follow the Vallor squadron to safety." he said, pointing at a group of people who looked like they were in civilian clothes. One of the Vallor team members ran towards me and greeted herself.
Hana: "Hello boss soon to be girlfriend, my name is Sargent Hana reporting for duty," she said while saluting me. She then pointed at the black man wearing a white hoodie and a woman who is wearing a gas mask. "that our squad leader Captain Grant. And the one in green clothing with a gas mask is Viper." I didn't listen to them and started looking for someone.
Hana: "If you're looking for Boss, he is not here right now." she said while puffing her mouth in anger in anger for not listening to her.
Lara: "Where is he then…" I disappointedly said when I heard he wasn't here.
Hana: "Sorry, mam, we don't know, even if we do know, we could not tell you anything as this would be confidential information." she said with a sad smile on her face.
Jonah: "what to do now, we are safe from the four guardians." he said while following the Vallor squad.
Grant: "We will be sending you guys back to London; our only mission is to protect Ms. Croft and you." He said, pointing at Jonah. When I heard his words, I felt a tingling feeling in my heart that made me miss Joseph a bit more.

It didn't take long to reach London using Joseph's private jet. I am still confused about why he hasn't shown up yet.
I have taken Jonah, Reyes, and Alisha to Sam's apartment to stay there for a bit while Joseph's mercenary group is guarding us. But when I reached our apartment, I saw that there were now cops outside the broken door.
Lara: "what is going on here?" I asked the police officer who was taking statements from the neighbors. The officer didn't bother looking up to me and just kept writing on his notepad.
Cops: "oh, there was a kidnapping of a woman named Samatha Nishimura." when I heard his words, my face turned pale. I then asked him another question.
Lara: "do you know anyone who could have done this" the office stopped writing and looked suspiciously at me.
Cops: "Yeah, some people said they saw a bunch of people wearing business suits come to this apartment and trashed the place. They then took the girl with them." he said. Jonah and Reyes looked worriedly at me while I was shaking in anger. I then turned around and headed outside, where I saw the Vallor team was waiting.
Lara: "I need your help…"

---Sam pov---
I slowly opened my eyes and only saw the light shining above me. I wanted to move my hands, but I felt my hands were tied down to the chair I am sitting right now. I tried to think about how I got here suddenly and had a small headache, and all my memories came back.
I remembered entering my apartment and saw that it was trashed. I was going to call the cops for help, but suddenly, two people appeared in front of me and knocked me out. Now I am here in this dark room.
???: "ah your away Ms. Nishimura" when I heard someone was talking to me, I looked up and saw an Asian man in a business suit. "Let me introduce myself. I am Matsu."
Sam: "what do you want from me," I said while glaring at him.
Matsu: "We don't need anything from your Ms. Nishimura. We just want our queen." when I heard his words, I just signed and looked down.
Sam: "Oh, your one of them the Solarii... I thought you guys died or something." I said while feeling bored with our conversation.
Matsu: "No, we are not part of that idiotic cult; we are part of a powerful being, the Dragon Emperor." I looked at them with a bored look on my face.
Sam: "HAHAHA" I laughed out loud while the man in front of me looked confused.
Matsu: "Why do you laugh, child." he said while trying to understand me.
Sam: "Lara will come after you kill you all... HAHAHA," I started laughing in amusement. The man looked pissed and smacked me on the right cheek.
Matsu: "what could a normal girl do to a guardian even if she killed one of us she got help." I just spit out the blood that was polling in my mouth at his fancy suit.
Sam: "You don't know Lara; she will do anything to keep her loved ones safe…" I said with a smug smile on my face.

---Lara pov---
Again I am heading to the godforsaken island with the help of the Vallor team. They have been permitted to use one of the small ships to lead to Yematai. I just stared at the sunset, thinking about why they needed Sam even though they don't have all four artifacts to resurrect Himiko.
Lara: "Soul, Power, Mind, and Body… wait, does the last piece have to be an artifact" when I asked this question. I just realized that the last piece to resurrecting Himiko is not an artifact but an actual body to possess. When I realized my mistakes of leaving Sam behind, I wanted to pull my hair in frustration for not understanding this.
Jonah: "Don't beat yourself up who could have known that they were going after Sam" when I heard his words, I just sighed in defeat. Jonah decided to come with me back to this island while Reyes stayed behind in London to protect her daughter from harm. "Go rest Lara; you have been running around all day."
Lara: "then I will take a quick nap in the bunk bed." Jonah nodded at me while I turned around and headed inside the ship.
