---Lara pov---
Williams: "I do say this is the most interesting artifact that I have seen. This golden idol was made in the Han dynasty. This Idol was probably a gift from the emperor of China to the queen of Yamatai " when I heard this, I was a bit confused as the Han dynasty never had any record of them traveling to Yematai.
Lara: "Uncle Calahan, there has never been a recorded text that a Han emperor went to Yematai. And Queen Himiko was never born at this period." Professor Williams looked at me and sighed in disappointment.
Williams: "Lara, have you ever thought that history could be wrong." he said while standing up and walked towards his bookshelf in the corner of his office. He then grabbed a book and walked back to me, and handed me the book. "Lara, can you find a man that is nicknamed as the Dragon Emperor."
I looked through the book that Profesor Williams gave to me. After a bit of reading, I could see that there was a man who is named the dragon emperor who ruled like a tyrant. I tried to find anything about this emperor. But his history seems to be erased from the face of history.
Lara: "Do you know anything about this man named the Dragon Emperor." I said with a questioning look on my face. I saw the professor sit back on his chair and looked outside the window with a sad look on his eyes.
Williams: "Yes, I do know something about this emperor, but the one who knows him more is your Father." he said while looking outside the window, he shook his head to clear his mind from sadness. He then turned towards me and with his brightest smile and continued talking. "Enough with all those sad things, you don't have to worry about the emperor. As far as I know, he should have died due to old age," he said jokingly.
Williams: "but there is something else you need to worry about these golden artifacts you have right now. These things seemed to be missing two other objects representing the body and mind of queen Himiko." he said while putting all the artifacts back in the box.
Lara: "You hadn't told me the translation of the golden idol that has a mandarin inscription." the professor looked shocked as he hit his head when he heard my words.
Williams: "Sorry about that, Lara, my old age, has taken a toll on my memories." he said while laughing it off. "The mandarin translation is the power of the queen." when I heard this, I just nodded and was about to pack my stuff and leave the office, but Professor Willams called my attention back to him again.
Williams: "Oh yeah, Lara, there was someone who came two or three weeks ago to ask about one of your father's work… I think his name was Joseph… I forgot his last name." he said while scratching his head, trying to remember. When I heard the name, I paused for a second and asked a professor a question.
Lara: "Does this man have white hair?" I ask hurriedly towards the Profesor. Professor Williams nodded at me, which made me confused. "Why is he here…" but before I could finish my words, someone called. I looked at my phone and saw that Jonah is calling me right now. I accepted the call, and I heard Jonah talking to me in a hurried tone in his voice.
Jonah: "Lara, you need to come here quickly we had a problem" when I heard this I didn't delay and head out to where Jonah is right now.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I got to the place that Jonah told me through the phone. I looked up the sign and saw that this was an Irish bar. I got inside the bar and scanned the area. It didn't take me long to see Jonah and Reyes sitting on the back end of the bar.
I went towards them and sat next to Jonah, who looked like he was worried about something. I then looked at Reyes, who looked pale and tired about something. Reyes looked at me with anger in her eyes and was about to punch me on my face. But Jonah stopped her from doing so.
Jonah: "Stop this, Reyes!… you will not get your daughter back if we fight each other." he said while looking sternly at Reyes.
Reyes: "it's her fault that we are in this mess," she growled at me. "Now they got my daughter…" she cried out loud while glaring at me.
Lara: "Did one of the three guardians get to your daughter." Reyes just glared at me and nodded. She then grabbed something out of her pocket and threw it at me. I looked at the thing that she had thrown at me and saw a small golden wyrm dragon. I scanned the item for any inscription and saw the word 'Mind' in Japanese on the dragon's head. I then looked at Reyes and asked her a question.
Lara: "Reyes, there was supposed to be another artifact that was taken out of the island. Where is the last piece right now." Reyes looked at me confusedly and answered my question.
Reyes: "You have the last one, Lara.." I was surprised at what I just heard. I did not remember taking any artifact that has any inscription about Himiko's body. All of a sudden, the bar became quiet, and all the people left that building. I looked around and saw people in black suits camming towards us, looking menacingly at us.
???: "It's great to meet you, Ms. Croft, finally... I did not expect you to kill one of the four guardians," he said with an amused look on his face. "Where my manners let me introduce myself. I am Matsu, the guardian of the wind," he said while his eyes glowed sky blue and intense air suddenly surrounded him.
Lara: "what do you want from us…" I said while being vigilant against this man. The man looked at with amusement and raised his hands towards the men that were standing behind him. The men in the suit went outside and came back with a crying girl.
Reyes: "Alisha!!!" Reyes said as she saw the crying girl.
Alisha: "Mom, what is going on?" she said, trying to understand everything around her.
Matsu: "Ms. Croft, we're here to negotiate. If you give us the golden artifact on your hands right now, we will let this girl go if not…" he then raised his hand to one of the men behind him. The men then pointed a gun at Alisha's head. "Say goodbye to your Alisha... what about this? I will count to three, and you will give me the artifacts," he said with a wicked smile.
Matsu: "One…" he said, feeling tired, so he started playing with his nails. "Two…." he then looked at me, who was now sweating bullets. "Three…. Men kill her…" but before they could shoot Alisha, I pushed the box and dragon idol towards them.
Lara: "wait, you could have these items; just let go of Alisha; she has nothing to do with all of this." I said worriedly at Matsu, who has a smug smile on his face.
Matsu: "It is nice doing business with you, Ms. Croft," he said, signaling his men to let Alisha go. But all of a sudden, he pointed a gun at my head. "But, we didn't say that you would live Ms. Croft..."
