Into The Known?

While she was standing there...she heard a voice say," Dear girl you look...lost."

Corrie turned and saw a lady very elegantly dressed and looking at her up and down .

"I'll get you spiced up ...follow me. " that being said, she dragged Corrie through the busy market and into a kind-of restaurant looking place.

"Ahh...all done. Oh my you look gorgeous"

she looked at her with wide eyes staring with curiosity which made Corrie embarrased but still managed to thank her politely.

There were many people who saw the two. Some looked weirdly at the girl while some looked on with wonder. Corrie didnt know how to react so she thought of something else.

Surely she knew this was because of that boneless crazy head scientist. She cursed herself for being aloof and wandering around but again she wanted to explore the new world she had fallen into.

" I run this place. You are welcome to work here if you have no job. And you can stay with me at one of the rooms back there. We serve foods and wine here. The people love to come here everyday so you must be careful and courteous. I will show you around."

Corrie loved the way the lady spoke ..it made her warm in this unknown place. She was very thankful that the lady understood her problems but did not understand why the lady would be so kind to take her in. She was unsure but still she kept listening what the lady was talking about.

"I'm sorry to trouble you..but again i thank you very much for taking me in", Corrie bowed in respect.

The lady smiled warmly at her.." Dear, you dont need to be too polite. You looked lost so i took you in..anybody would have done that".

Really she herself didnt understand why she was so kind to this innocent looking girl. There was a sense of familiarty between them. You shall know about it in the next chapter.

She showed her around and introduced her to the other servers working in the place. They were very excited and welcomed her cheerfully .

Corrie was relieved that she encountered upon the kind lady.

She was told to rest that day and start working from tomorrow.

She knew she had no place to go so this place would have to do it plus everyone here was good.

She is really lucky right...well oh well she ought to be since she is the protagonist here hehe
