Orchid

Naturally Axel had gotten the habit of always seeing Corrie and talking to her and then getting direct responses. There were awkward pauses between them but it was not awkward for him at all. Corrie had started to treat him well now since he was very very very different from what she had had in mind before. He was thoughtful, intelligent, brave in some way but childish sometimes. Both of them grew fond of each other.

Ten days had been completed now..Corrie went back to Milana to relay all about her experience, she was damn excited and thankful to her.

As soon as the sun rose up, Corrie went away to Milana.

"Milana, i'm home!!!"

"My..! You are early"

" I came as soon as i woke up."

"Come in, you must've been tired with all the chores over there."

"I'm ohkay..i didnt like it there during the first two days but i got used to it. Everything is so good in there. Thank you very much."

"Well then ...i guess you have got a lots of findings too"

Corrie was dumb-struck she had completely forgotten about it..Dang!!

Milana guessed it right away.."You were so determined about that. What made you distracted?"

She looked deep into the shy girl's eyes searching for answers.

"The Crown Prince..i had a bad impression of him but now we get along well......."

"Oh so we got a lover here"

"What do you mean?"

She wasn't willing to accept it but her face had already shown it.

"Both of you are young...and you are very eye catching. One must be blind if he does not throw a second glance at you..."

"Stop right there...dont continue".

After that, she let the tired girl rest the whole day . She smiled warmly looking at the peacefully sleeping girl. She sighed..she was happy. She looked at her as if she had found an angel.

At the Palace---

Axel looked around but there were no one around. A server was doing the everyday chores Corrie did.

He looked around but only saw an orchid placed on the side of his bed.

He took it up and asked where Corrie was. The server explained to him. He was clearly displeased that she didnt tell him beforehand.

He further asked where the orchid was from. The server smiled and answered,"Your Highness the flower was left by Corrie hoping that your day will go well."

She smiled as she said this and looked up to his expression.....she was shocked out of her soul by what she saw the next moment.

Axel was smiling....that too like a little boy who looked as if he found the most interesting toy in the world.

The server went dizzy by what she saw and went out to tell everyone after she was dismissed.
