Axel somehow spent the whole evening explaining the wiped out history to Corrie. Corrie could not believe it...it seems that part of the history was wiped out intentionally.

"Thank you for telling me, Corrie", it was sincere but it hid a pain.

"But i think it will change...looking at you now you aren't that reckless as the books says."

Axel smirked at this,"So you are saying i havr become more good?"

"Yes", Corrie replied innocently.

"So you are my companion now", Axel asked sceptically.

"Y-yes", Corrie blushed hard.

She knew she had no problems but one thing.....she might go back? But until then she would be with Axel. The thoughts of Vince doesn't bother her anymore as she knew that it was just attraction and nothing else. And they have never even exceeded from holding hands and giving a peck on the cheeks.

"W-what about the Queen....how can i even face her?", Corrie asked nervously.

Axel smiled at her," She is a Queen but more importantly she is my mother. She trusts me and i trust her so you do not need to panic that much...You are so naive haha", Axel smiled pinching her nose.

This made Corrie pout a little giving out a humph too.

"So then, about the Great War...its coming soon isn't it. The border walls have already been broken down and the kingdom has already been infiltrated by spies."

"Yes, and this time the fight is not only with the concubine but also her allies", Corrie warned.

Axel knew all this beforehand...his weak allies always followed power and wealth.

This time, he wasn't going to lose with Corrie by his side...he felt even more confident.

"But are you sure you want to discuss your plans with me?" Corrie asked.

"Of course..you know a lot. We should devise strategies together. You are by side and together, Aspen's name will go down in history."

Corrie felt respected, cared mostly happy.

Axel was growing more and more talkative...even more than Hayner. She loved it. She couldn't believe that she could fall in love so easily but fate really had a way of doing things.

She just smiled and in the next moment, she felt a longing and deep kiss from Axel.

They loved each other very much.....

"You know i think its time you meet my mother", Axel just said leisurely.

While on the other hand, the woman in his arms froze.....'The Queen? Is he crazy i might die if she sees me but he did say that he had told the Queen about me. Wait what if she doesn't like me. Hell no!!'

Axel saw the deeply thinking expression of Corrie and he just....laughed.

"How dare you!!! "

"Haha my mother is not like any Queen. She doesnt like hierarchy. You dont need to worry. And even if she did, i would still take you to her and marry you ", his words were firm and that made Corrie believe him.

Indeed, the Queen hated the social hierarchy so she had had it removed when she could influence the court.
