Chapter 8

After the powerful strike at Felix's little member, Felix's face was red with anger and pain, clutching his sensitive member while cursing at Aleina.

Aleina knew that this was the right time to escape, so she immediately made a run for the bus stop without looking back.

"Just how many times do I need to kick his butt before the dimwit finally gets it? Ugh!"

Aleina was frustrated with the daily drama where stubborn, rich guys like Felix, would block her way every now and then, and wouldn't take no for an answer.

These become one of the main issues, which greatly affected her already bad situation back at her house, where her parents, after receiving gifts and roses sent for Aleina at their residence, would get all riled up and would punish her, for allegedly, seducing men at such a young age.

"Please, please come fast before that 'Baboyah' appears again."

By now, Aleina loved to use Korean words, which she had learnt from her favourite k-dramas, in almost every situation.

She had found solace in Korean dramas specially those where family members loved and supported each other.

So even if not in reality, but in her imaginary world, she was fulfilling her wish to see a loving family.

She knew she was being delusional but she found happiness in those loving family in k- dramas, her own way of escaping the harsh reality.

While she was praying for the bus to arrive faster, she was oblivious about the commotion that was happening where Aleina had left Felix in pain and agony.

She immediately stepped inside the bus, paid for her ticket and took the vacant window seat.

She took out her earphone and plugged it in her phone which belonged to a very older version of the company and seemed odd in the fair hands of the Young Miss of the rich Kallis family.

Aleina played her favourite song while watching the passing scenery through the window of the bus.

Little do you know

How I'm breaking while you fall asleep

Little do you know

I'm still haunted by the memories

Little do you know

I'm trying to pick myself up piece by piece

Little do you know

I need a little more time

Underneath it all I'm held captive by the hole inside

I've been holding back

For the fear that you might change your mind

I'm ready to forgive you, but forgetting is a harder fight

Little do you know

I need a little more time

Song- Little do you know by Alex & Sierra

While Aleina was listening to the song which exactly depicted her inner feelings, it wasn't before long when she reached her destination, The Kallis Villa.

Aleina dreaded the walk to her so called home, where she knew exactly what was waiting for her.

Some more name-calling for being late and spoiling the reputation of the Kallis family by having fun till late outside.

No matter how many times Aleina has informed them about her Volleyball practice session, her family always misinterpreted it, as her having fun outside.

The distance from the bus stop to her house was 10-15 minutes, which she utilised by admiring the beautiful scenery of the park, on the way to the neighbourhood of the lavish villas located like a community.

Her mood seemed to uplift and she had a lovely smile on her bright beautiful face, which could easily mesmerise the onlookers.

While she was focusing on the enticing blue rose, planted for enhancing the aesthetics of the park, she felt like someone was watching her, so she turned her face to look around, but found no one.

'I keep having this feeling that someone is watching me. Eek! So creepy!'

Aleina hugged herself when she felt a chill run down her body at the creepy feeling.

"Andwae.... I'm dead meat! How can I be so late?! Run Aleina!"

She exclaimed and began running towards her house to avoid getting punished again for being late.

If only she had turned around and discovered the person who was watching her disappearing figure, while crushing the same blue rose she was admiring moments ago, then maybe she could've avoided the terrifying ordeal which she would be facing in the near future.

Aleina was gasping for her with flushed cheeks, making her more alluring, and she breathed a sigh of relief when she found a different model car, parked at the entrance of the villa.

"Daebak!! Today might be my lucky day! At least I won't get harshly reprimanded, in front of the guests for being late."

Aleina thanked the gods for saving her by sending guests over and she tried to sneak in without getting noticed by anyone. But how could she be so lucky.

A soothing voice which sounded like it belonged to a well- groomed gentleman pointed out her presence by calling her name.

"Aleina, where are you going? Don't you want to meet your loving cousin?"

Aleina suddenly halted in her tracks when she heard the cringey honey-coated voice of the handsome man.

He was sitting beside a similar looking but middle-aged man, who looked like his father, along with the elders of the Kallis family.

She was surprised at the man's voice who seemed a little older than her, adorning a smile on his face which didn't reach his eyes.

Aleina frowned but immediately hid her displeasure and adorned a fake cold smile on her face while moving towards the luxurious living room, where everybody was currently seated.

"Good evening Uncle Morris! How are you?"

"Hm. Good." Her Uncle arrogantly replied with his nose in the air.

Aleina politely greeted her maternal uncle by putting on a polite smile on her face. She didn't have much impression of her Uncle as she hardly went to any gatherings, but she knew that this uncle of hers favoured sons a lot, especially his son and Aleina's cousin Damon Morris, who was currently watching her with great affection in his eyes.

Aleina was well aware of her Cousin Damon's facade and she was disgusted by his fake gentlemanly behaviour.

Aleina hid her displeasure by putting on a polite but a cold smile this time, when she turned towards her cousin and greeted him through gritted teeths in order to suppress her repulsion towards him.

"Good evening Cousin Damon and what're you talking about! How could I avoid you when I treat you like you are my own BROTHER."

Aleina had a repelling cold look in her eyes when she emphasised on the word 'brother' in order to show Damon his place.

Aleina will never forget how her supposedly 'cousin' had tried to barge in her bathroom when she was spending a night at the Morris family's house after Sabrina's insistence.

After that incident she tried her best to avoid situations when Damon would try to touch her or feel her in the name of hugging her.

Aleina was truly disgusted about when she saw how he pretended to be a sweet, handsome gentleman when he was a pervert in reality.

'Aish! Chincha! I can't wait for this disgusting man to leave already. Ugh!'

While Aleina was throwing up in her mind, her mother cold and distant voice reverberated in the air, giving out her order to Aleina.

"Take your cousin to the guest room right next yours. He'll be interning at our company and will be living with us till then."

*blink*

*blink*

*blink*

Aleina just blinked innocently, confused at first.

When she finally understood what her mother had said, all the blood seemed to have vanished from her face and she turned pale. Nobody knew that she was screaming inside her head like a madwoman.

'Andwaeeeeee.....'

----------------------------------------------

Chincha = for real

Andwae= No

Daebak= Jackpot.
