You open your eyes. You look around you. You are sitting on top of a radio tower. All around you is a forest and then some old buildings. In the center of the building, you see a huge tower.
You: [ Where am I? I thought I died? What is going on? ]
You see an Ak-47 sitting near you with a backpack near it. The bag contains ammo, food, water, and first aid kit.
You hear sirens. Loud sirens.
You: [ Is this siren head, wait a minut- ]
You see an explosion in front of you. Its a nuke. It is far away but you see a small mushroom cloud. You measure it with your thumb. You are safe here. But the shockwave will be here.
You quickly use the zipline to get down from the radio tower and run toward the buildings. You enter the building and quickly run inside the basement.
The earth shake under your feet. You wait for 12 hours inside. You hear four sirens in total.
You: Four nuke in total. Has the war started?
You take your bagpack and Ak and head outside. You see mist around the building. You hear building screeching. One building falls near the building you are in. The buildings are in pretty bad shape.
You look around and see a group of people in hazmat suit.
UNKNOWN MAN: Search for civilians.
You hide behind a car and look at them.
You: Who are these people?
You feel something touch your head.
UNKNOWN MAN: Don't move.
You: I am not hostile.
UNKNOWN MAN: Neither am I.
The man lower his gun. You look at him. The man has a hazmat.
UNKNOWN MAN: How are you alive?
You: What do you mean?
UNKNOWN MAN: The air is toxic. You should be dead by now.
You: I don't feel anything.
UNKNOWN MAN: Here take this mask.
You take the mask and wear it.
UNKNOWN MAN: Under the car now.
You: What?
UNKNOWN MAN: Hide under the car quick.
You slide under the car and look around. You see nothing suspicious.
You: I don't se-
UNKNOWN MAN: Shhh look over there.
The group of people get attacked by something.
You: What happened to them?
UNKNOWN MAN: I don't know. Just keep quiet.
The man stand up and slowly walk toward the bodies. He take a picture of them and comes back to you slowly.
UNKNOWN MAN: That was tense.
You: What are you doing?
UNKNOWN MAN: These are proof that those things exist.
You: Hey but what is it?
You feel something. The man hides under the same car as you.
You: Wh-
He place his hand on your face.
You hear something walking on top of the car.
You hold your breath. The car goes back to normal. The man gets out from under the car and help you.
UNKNOWN MAN: Let's go it's not safe here.
You follow the man to a bunker. He stops in front of you.
UNKNOWN MAN: Wait let me open the door. Umm can you look out while I try to remember the password.
You: You forget it?
UNKNOWN MAN: No it's in my mind just need to remember.
UNKNOWN MAN: maybe it was 1265.
He tries it but its wrong.
UNKNOWN MAN: maybe 5621.
The password is wrong again.
UNKNOWN MAN: I remember now its 257359.
The door open to the bunker. You walk down the stairs and after opening another door. You reach DECONTAMINATION AREA. The door behind you shut.
The DECONTAMINATION starts. After decontamination another door in front of you opens and you enter the door.
UNKNOWN MAN: Place your mask over there.
While you place it. The man remove his hazmat suit and before you can look at his face. You hear a voice of woman behind you.
UNKNOWN WOMAN: You are back?
The man look at woman. She sees both of you and take out her gun.
UNKNOWN MAN: Wait, Anne. It's me.
Anne: Who is this then?
Mandeep: Who? This guy. I don't know who he is. I saved him from Creepers.
Anne: I told you don't put yourself in danger.
Mandeep: I know that. I helped him because he was cute.
Anne narrows her eyes. You look at him with shock.
Anne: You say that because he look just like you.
Mandeep: Yeah you got me.
You: Hey Mandeep can i talk to you for a minute.
Mandeep: Yeah go ahead.
You: In private.
Anne walk to Mandeep and wisper.
Anne: He is trying to make a move on you.
Mandeep: Yeah.
You: Its not like that.
Anne: Don't worry you two can continue.
You: No seriously its not like that.
While Mandeep listening to both of you.
You: Tell her it's not liek that.
Mandeep: Yeah It's not like that. Maybe.
You: Let's just talk.
Mandeep: ok.
You follow him to his room. He sit on the bed while you sit on the chair.
Mandeep: What is it?
You: What do you mean by that? After all you done.
Mandeep: Yeah I know I am good. I saved you from the creepers but no need to thank me.
You: It's not about that.
Mandeep looks at you with confusion.
You: What's with that look now? You killed everyone on the station. You killed Anne. Yo-
Hearing about Anne he grab you shirt.
Mandeep: Don't say anything bad about my Anne.
You: You are the one who killed her.
Mandeep: Shut up. She is fine and alive. You saw her.
You: Then what was that on the station.
Mandeep: What station? You keep talking about some station and me killing people.
You: Did you lost your damn mind? You are stupid. What is wrong with you?
You shake him.
Mandeep: I don't want to remember.
You: What?
Mandeep looks at you with blank face. Suddenly he returns to normal.
Mandeep: What happened?
He lets you go and sit on the bed.
Mandeep: My head. MY HEAD. STOP IT STOP. ANNE. MY ANNE. MY ANNE
Anne quickly comes inside and give him some medicine.
He calm down.
Mandeep: Need to sleep.
Anne: Please let him sleep now.
You walk out of the room and Anne comes after you.
Anne: I am sorry for this.
You: What happened to him?
Anne: I don't know. I lost memory of the event after he was killed. But when I woke up he was there for me. But he doesn't remember anything other than me.
You: I see. What was that medicine?
Anne: It help him to calm down.
Anne: There is another room that is free. You can stay there.
You: Thank you.
Anne: It's over there.
She points you toward the room. You thank her again and go to the room. The room is mostly clean. You arrange the room a bit and take a nap on the bed.
While Anne sits near Mandeep. Waiting for him to wake up.
