Mind = No Data

You wake up in the underground bunker. The bunker is well secure made to withstand a nuclear blast. You look around you everything is different yet if feels the same. You wonder what happened after the huge light thing.

The world has changed a lot. It not even the same period. But what year is it? The things look ancient. It's like things are from the 21st century. You read about this era. But now that it is in front of you it feels different. But somehow you know how this world works.

You:[ I should check on Mandeep.]

You walk up to his room and slowly open the door. Mandeep is still sleeping but as you push the door a little more he wakes up.

Mandeep: Who is this?

You: Relax, It's me.

Mandeep: Ah it's you, What happened tomorrow? I don't remember much.

You: Nothing important. [ Telling him anything will make his mental health unstable ]

Mandeep: That's good.

Mandeep still sleepy looks at his computer which is still running. When he looks at the screen he jumps and quickly sits in front of it.

Mandeep: What the fuck? They managed to get me this fast.

You: What's going on?

Mandeep: We need to leave.

You: Leave? Now, why exactly?

Mandeep: Just pack what is important maybe some food and some supplies and be quick. You have 1 hour to pack.

You quickly start to pack all the food and water you can find.

Mandeep: Take this and cover the bags with this. This will save things from getting contamination.

You quickly pack the food and water, Bandages, Whatever you can fit in the bag.

Mandeep runs to get Anne.

Mandeep: Anne quickly gets the hazmat suits and the guns we need to leave.

Anne: Again?

Mandeep: Yeah, But this is how it is now. Quick, Leave this to me. You can pack the data chips and my research documents.

Anne: Okay I will be quick.

After half an hour you are done packing. You go all the necessities. Mandeep and Anne are done as well. Mandeep quickly gets back to his PC and start to back up the data.

You: What are you doing?

Mandeep: I am making a backup of the map of the safe zones.

You: How long this will take?

Mandeep: The place where we need to go is done. Just some more area and we will be done.

The shelter's light goes out. All electronic shutdown.

Mandeep punches the screen in rage.

Mandeep: This is bullshit. They got us again. Get into the suits and leave the bunker. They have found us.

You and Anne quickly get into the suit while Mandeep opens the first door.

Mandeep: You two go outside get the truck ready. Keep your eyes peeled if you see anything shoot it and if you feel anything then don't move no matter what.

You and Anne quickly get out of the bunker and start to put the things on the truck. You feel something.

You: Anne,-

Anne: Don't.

You hold your breath and place hand your mouth. You feel something weird. Something is near you but you cant see it. It's the same thing from last time that killed the group.

You feel the temperature dropping. But you stay still in your place and all of sudden the weird feeling is gone.

You: Are we safe?

Anne: Yes. Now just wait for Mandeep.

Mandeep suits up and runs out of the base with a huge radio pack on his back.

Mandeep: Quick Full throttle.

You accelerate the truck and it pushes him a bit backward. Mandeep looks up at the sky he sees a huge green light.

Mandeep: Ah fuck how bad this day can be?

You look in front of you and see cars standing on the side of the road as you pass them they start to follow you.

Mandeep: Fuck bandits, Go on full speed I take care of these sons of bitches.

Mandeep shoots the driver of one car with a headshot. The car hits the car beside it but then slows down to a complete halt.

You: Hey Mandeep!!!

Mandeep: What is it?

You: I don't think we can go in that direction.

Anne shoots the other car's tires and the crash turns to the right and starts to roll over. Mandeep looks at the front of the truck.

Mandeep: What the fuck? TURN RIGHT QUICK.

In front of you is a tank. As you quickly turn right the tank fire and the shot passes by the truck and hit the car behind you. The car explodes into a ball of fire.

Mandeep: Keep moving the tank can't turn its cannon that fast.

You: It's way fast.

Mandeep: Keep moving. We have no choice. The forest gets into the forest.

You: There are too many trees in the way.

Mandeep: Just hide the care behind that bush over there.

You: They will easily spot us.

Mandeep: We must run on foot. The truck will distract them and will give us time to hide.

You three get out of the truck and start to run toward the thick forest.

Mandeep: Hide in the grass.

All three of you hide in the grass. The tank comes toward you but you crawl out of its way. A soldier is moving with the tank looking around.

Mandeep whispers to you.

Mandeep: Take care of that motherfucker.

You sneak behind the soldier and shoot him in the head. Mandeep quickly runs toward the tank and climb it. He shoots the people inside.

Mandeep: Get in the tank quickly.

You: You know how to drive it.

Mandeep: Not much but it will help.

You get into the tank and help Anne into the tank as well. Mandeep starts the tank and moves it out of the forest and away from the bunker as far as possible.

You: Why did we leave the bunker?

Mandeep: It's easy to look behind you.

You see something and then an explosion.

You: A nuke.

Mandeep: Yeah. Don't worry we are safe for now.

You: Where are we going?

Mandeep: Somewhere safe.
