Sucide's Not The Answer

It wasn't until Erza beat up everyone that calmness was found, Akira

felt a new found sense of respect bloom in her chest for Erza, that and awe.

Having to deal with

these people everyday seemed like a hellish task.

Upon returning to class, Akira noticed that the quiet dark-haired boy wasn't there, she felt

worried for him as he should have been back in class. The lesson started but no one seemed to

care. She hoped he wouldn't be in trouble when he returned.

By and by time passed, the lecture came to an end still, he was not back.

"What is wrong with you Akira! You said you wanted to be alone and ignore everyone, so why ponder on one guy. So what if he skips class, it's his business not yours" she mentally chided herself.

All through till the close of the day, she didn't have time to talk with Lucy. Finally, the end of school for that day.

As she packed her bags, she noticed someone approach her from the corner of her eyes. She stopped what she was doing and turned her head in the direction of the person.

"Hello, we've not officially met" said the blonde haired girl. "I am Lucy, nice to meet you" she said extending her hand for a shake.

Akira smiled and accepted her hand. "Pleasure is mine. I am Akira."

"Sorry we didn't have a proper intro before. I'd like for us to be friends, what say you?"

"Umm okay, I guess. Yeah friends it is." Lucy looked at her in a weird way. "Sorry about that, it's all just new to me and all. Not the friends part but I wanted to be alone, that was my initial plan."

"Oh I see, sorry to disturb you then" Lucy said.

"No it's all right. You are cool." Akira found herself complimenting the said girl.

"You think so? I'm glad, thanks," she said with a smile and being all happy.

"Hey fire brain wait up damn it." Gray shouted at Natsu who was about leaving the class.

Natsu turned to look at his friend, but his gaze stopped midway as he noticed a pair of eyes on him.

He smiled cheekily and went towards the owner of those eyes.

"Good that you could put those fire brain to good use and come back... " Gray stopped talking as he noticed his friend walked past him and moved to the back seat.

His eyes went ahead of Natsu to see who he was going to meet.

"Ohh, the new girl huh!"

"Hey, sorry about today. Didn't spend time with you nor did I show you around. I made a bad first impression didn't I?" He asked as he stood in front of Akira.

"Huh, it's okay. Thanks?"

"Sorry about the ruckus during break. This fire brain and the others sure are messy" Gray said walking up to them.

"Really it's all fine. I'm good. It was nice seeing you guys being friendly towards each other."

"Ohh, Umm guess so. Anyways see you tomorrow, would take you for a tour round school" Natsu quickly added.

"Alright. Thanks guys."

"See you" Gray said and he left with Natsu.

"Well you'll love them. It's virtually impossible not to. You want to head out together?"

"I wanted to check up on the black haired guy but well he ain't my problem" I whispered to myself.

"Can't hear you sorry" Lucy stated.

"Oh it's nothing. I said yes I would love to" she lied.

"Great, then finish up with your packing let's leave."

Akira finished packing her bag and they left. Just outside the school compound, Akira looked up to stare at the huge school again when her eyes caught a figure on the roof top of one of the buildings.

"Damn it" she quick turned to Lucy, "I'm sorry, there's something I gotta take care of. You can go without me. Sorry" she dashed off back into the school, leaving a stunned Lucy behind.

She rushed up the stairs in a fast pace, ignoring the pounding in her chest as she tried to breath.

She got to the door of the roof top and pushed it open. "What are you doing? Step away from the edge. Sucide's not the answer!"
