Classes
Tristan woke up in the morning to find a schedule hanging on his door. After reading it quickly, he found out that he can simply tap on a small red circle, wich teleports him to the classroom.
‚Teleporting others, that isn't something to take lightly.', he thought. He ended up sharing his room with Kalu and two other kids he didn't know.
The classroom was similarly built like one you would find on earth. Small wooden desks in five rows, the ones at the back slightly elevated. In the front there was a Desk, but no Whiteboard or anything for the teacher to write on.
There were five seats per row, leading to a total of 25 students in Tristan's class. He was only teleported to the entrance of the room, so he walked to the back of the class to sit in a corner. After a few peaks through the room, he saw some familiar faces, Kalu and Tsoka were there. Not surprising, but Tasaki was also there with one other girl.
„Ah Tristan, how lovely to see you here. I hope you don't mind, is This Seat free? Of course it is, you don't know anyone here, right?", Tasaki approached him with a warm, but fake, smile and sat down next to Tristan. The other girl followed him.
„This is my friend, Elaine.", he introduced her.
Tristan looked at her and then looked back to the front, where the teachers desk was located.
„Nice to meet you.", the girl smiled and stretched out her hand.
„Warning, you do not possess a poison resistance hindering the flow of a toxic substance near you. Please act with caution.", he heard Nova's voice in his head.
„What kind of poison?", Tristan asked Nova.
„I cannot answer that question.", she responded.
Tristan looked closer at Elaine's hand. He didn't see anything there, but he was cautious and didn't shake it.
Then the door of the room slammed open and a middle aged man walked inside.
„Welcome everyone! Please quiet down, my name is Elder Micheal and I will be your professor this year. This is our classroom, you will gather here every morning and I will update you on anything important. You will now choose what type of classes you want to attend, this will impact your skills and fighting styles later on. If you decide that you don't like the classes that you've chosen, you can change once after the first year. I will explain the three classes now.
1. Support classes, there you will learn alchemy, rune magic and healing magic. I am not the one who teaches this class. Further explanations will be given to you by your representative teachers.
2. Weaponised Combat, as the name implies you will learn how to fight with non-magical weapons like swords and bows. This class isn't lead by me either.
3. Magic Combat, this is my class and I will teach you how to use the elements to your advantage in combat.
No matter wich class you choose, everyone will have to attend basic magic and combat classes.
A piece of paper will appear on your desks now, please write your name and what type of class you chose on the paper."
As the professor said, a piece of paper appeared before Tristan.
‚What to choose, what to choose. My combat skills aren't lacking because of my strength and the intensive training Cameron gave me. I doubt my spells are the exact same like the ones these people have. I guess I'll try something new then.', Tristan thought.
He wrote down his name and Support classes in the lines thought for that.
The paper vanished with the pen, just like it appeared out of nowhere.
After a short while everyone was done writing and the professor spoke again,
„Good. Now, please step on these circles depending on what you chose. The red circle is for mages, the yellow one for mages and the green one for support classes. These circles will test your affinity for your respective classes and if that affinity is too low you will choose again.", the three circles appeared one the ground and shone in the three colours mentioned by the professor.
One after the other, the professor called for the students, those who had high enough affinities were teleported away, only three people had to change their minds. Tristan was called and he stepped forward. He went into the green circle.
„Do you wish to learn tune magic and alchemy?", he heard Nova's voice once again in his head.
„Yes.", he replied.
Meanwhile, the professor looked at him,
„It seems our affinity isn't high enough, maybe you should consider becoming a magician.", he said.
„This will cost you two levels, are you sure you want to make this purchase?", Nova asked.
„Yes, hurry up.", Tristan said, feeling the eyes on his back. Most got teleported almost instantly or after a second, but he was still standing there.
„Purchase made, your new level is now 9232 (+10000)", with that Tristan finally got teleported into a room, where only a few were standing.

The room Tristan was in was big, multiple tables with weird contraptions and buckets of water. Chairs were neatly ordered at the tables, the room didn't look like it was made for small amounts of people, yet there were only 7 people from the class here.
„Everyone, please take a seat.", an old lady said, who was standing in the middle of the room.
„Sadly not many people want to learn the old methods of alchemy or rune magic anymore, so we will be all from your class.", the lady said.
„My name is Professor Andrea and I am your teacher from now on. First, everyone tell me why you are here, say what exactly do you want to learn. You will focus on one thing this year and if you wish you can take up a second subject the next year. If you're looking to do rune magic, then you will have classes every Wednesday. There is only one class per week, because there hasn't been anyone who did this for two years now, a shame. Alchemy will have classes each Tuesday and Thursday, healing classes will be every other day. Now I will ask you one after the other what you want to do.", after that short explanation, Tristan had to wait for his turn.
Soon, Andrea called out his name.
„I will do Rune magic.", he said.
A slight smile appeared on the old ladies face and she nodded.
After him, only Elaine was left.
„I will do rune magic as well.", she said.
„How nice, but let me tell you, there is a reason not many people know rune magic very well.", Andrea said.
‚This is anything but nice. How can you be more obvious at following someone?', Tristan thought.
„Ok, since it's Monday everyone can go, except for the healers.", Professor Andrea said and some kids stood up and left.
„Looks like we will be together in our classes, what a coincidence. Why did you choose rune magic? Can't you do it already? Will you choose alchemy next year?", once out of the room, Elaine bombarded him with questions.
„What a pain..."
