Chapter 16- Vacations are nice...

Itachi shouted out as he felt raw power flowing through his veins. He felt like he could destroy a city in a blow as his hair turned white and his eyes turned red and black. While others may be unable to deal with this power considering he had 6 elements he was quite confident in bearing the power without any side effects.

He stood there immersed in his mindscape as he felt a red glow permeate inside. He saw a large nebula of red stardust condense as he focused on channeling its power. His muscles began to bulge, and he felt the need to release his energy somewhere. While he felt a hint of madness, his thoughts were still rational and he was not controlled by the demon element. His body was instantly enveloped by pale white flames that seemed to come from the depths of hell itself.

Opening his eyes Itachi instantly appeared in front of the terrified Lu Nian who's plans had completely backfired.

"I g-gave you that power" he said panicking as the flame covered Itachi approached. "You should be thanking me" he whimpered backing away.

Cruelly smiling Itachi looked down at the army mage "Thank you, why don't I give you a reward" he said bringing his flame covered hand onto the inhumane general's forehead who used any means necessary to achieve his goals. Spreading his white flames out, the the generals entire body was enveloped as he burned the screaming man to ash.

He soon turned to face the frightened students and the concerned Xue'er. "I'll be back" he said before pushing off the ground into the air causing the entire earth to shake as he formed a shallow crater which from in his perspective felt like a light push off.

Flying through the air he looked down at the Silver Titan Ape who was focused on him with narrowed eyes. While he already had an insane level of strength for a human, that was nothing compared to the unlimited power he felt inside his body right now.

Grinning madly with a desire to kill he increased his gravity to an insane amount as he brought a flame covered fist right into the Titan ape's waiting fist. The bones in its hand were instantly shattered causing it to stumble back howling in pain at the sheer force running through its body threatening to send it flying back.

Turning back around Itachi summoned a beautiful blue bow, and he increased its density as far as it would go resulting in a heavy bow that even Itachi under demonization struggled to hold up. When he pulled back on the bow string it required all the strength he had gained from demonization to even barely bring it back.

His shirt disintegrated from the power rippling from his body as he drew back the shining arrow that could be seen from 100's of miles away.

Time and space seemed to be cut apart as the instant his fingers let go. It looked less like an arrow and more line a beam of energy prepared to disintegrate whatever layed in front of it.

Sensing danger the large beast had crossed both its forearms in front of his chest preparing to block the blow, but it proved futile the bright beam shot right through its arms and chest disintegrating everything in its way greatly searing the surrounding flesh as the once proud monarch instantly died from the gaping hole through its gigantic body.

The entire province seemed to shake from that attack as the nearby Kanging city recorded a 5.4 magnitude earthquake that day while many super mages cautiously approached the site of extreme power scared to get too close for fear of death.

Itachi on the other hand couldn't calm down as he felt an intense killing intent along with more power to release. He dashed over to the nearby Dongting lake as the surroundings burned when a miniature blue sun condensed in his hand. Staring down at the steaming lake his eyes tracked the many scared warrior and servant ranked lizard beasts that had once killed many people when they invaded the city of Jin Lin.

"Burn" the cold words rang out like the calling of death as the large lake seemed to instantly evaporated when the fireball exploded out enveloping all the surroundings in a fierce fire with no chance of survival for the monsters inside. Looking back towards the shocked classmates, and towards the quickly approaching groups of high tier and super mages, he decided it would be best if he left for a while to lands unknown.

He soon realized demonization was like a special state that heavily drawed on his power increasing his abilities to the extreme. He sensed that the after effects could be negated by fueling this powerful ability with souls. Struggling to contain his power in a booming voice he turned to look at the group. "Eventually I will be back, but I need some time" He said before turning around and leaping deep into the wilderness unknown when he would once again be seen.

1 year later-New York city USA

Itachi walked towards the 2000 acre Liberty University, the most famous university in America well known around the world.

Ever since 1 year ago, Itachi had been labeled a threat by the Holy Court and the name Mo Fan had a large bounty on it for him to be detained and brought in for study.

The Holy Court the strongest organisation, coerced the other 7 major world organisations into agreeing with this, and since they deemed demonization to be an evil element, they were determined to eliminate this threat that could challenge their authority.

They had sent several super tier mages out with orders to kill on sight contrary to their order to detain him since that was a lie to appease the masses.

He had visited a few cities to discover this and he was even chased by a super tier 3 mage who he had to use his demon element to force him back before retreating into the wilderness again.

Right after he left, Itachi went deep into the wilderness running into many fierce monsters. While he could turn demonization on and off he had to heavily sustain it with many warrior and commander rank souls to prevent his cultivation from regressing.

Deep into the wild lands of China he was far from home and he ran into a couple other monarchs that he defeated mainly with his overpowered bow and naginata.

At one point however deep in the Tianshan mountains he had drawn the attention of the Red Skull Demon supreme monarch which he proved to be unable to defeat as even his strongest energy shot couldn't penetrate deeply enough to kill the 200 meter tall demon. After a bloody fight with the beast he got away with many injuries, but this was not a big deal as his auto healing helped keep him intact.

His travel ability had greatly increased when around 2 months later, he broke through to wind high tier giving him his wings he was greatly excited for. After gaining his wings he had cultivated hard to get, he soon focused on his two main destructive elements lightning and fire to bring them up to high tier expanding his star cloud into a star river with 343 stars that were needed to cast high tier magic.

He had an abundance of minion rank souls from his travels, so he soon used over 900 souls to bring his new stars for all three elements to level 4 giving him a x2 multiplier on the power of the magic. Similarly he also upgraded the rest of his 49 stars for high tier magic for each element with warrior rank souls. Finally with the commander rank souls he collected 7 stars for each of those elements were level 6. This means his novice tier magic had a multiplier of x8, his mid tier had a multiplier of x4 and his high tier magic had a increase of x2. Also his spirit seeds for each element evolved into heaven tier giving him a x16 effect on top of that if he activated it.

He had to be cautious because if he ran into a spell mage from the Holy Court he would be utterly defeated and their were over 3 including the frightening Archangel Michael who was a lot stronger than others inside the spell tier.

He needed to find somewhere to go farther away from the Holy Court's influence and here he found himself in America at the Liberty University in that was situated in New York city right as a spear head to defend from attacks from the ocean. Similar to China, there was a vast section of America inhabited by monsters including a large majority of the great plains. The two coasts east and west were relative safe zones with the Appalachian mountains being a great barrier in between people and monsters. There were many vast hordes of monsters including several forbidden zones that were labeled instant death for most likely having some sort of strong monarch or possibly even an Emperor.

Death valley was one such spot filled with vast hordes of monsters including a majority being a frightening scorpion population. There were many rumors of a terrifying beast hiding in its sands capable of destroying the entire western seaboard if it was angered which was a great deterrent to any foolish mage willing to traverse its depths.

The North-West forests and south eastern swamps were both danger areas filled with large amounts of monsters inside them that were fiercely watched by the american magic associations. While the danger was lower in the great plains, there were great hordes of hundreds of thousands of beasts wandering around that had to be kept track of for fear of them causing a calamity.

The Rocky mountains were probably the most frightening of them all and it was said they were inhabited by dragons and fierce flying monsters that would tear any plane out of the sky that came close. Pilots had a typical safe line that they would fly on while their plane was guarded by an high tier wind mage to defend from any unexpected attacks.

He had also broken through to high tier in summon space and healing element in the past couple months since he had been in America and he was quite satisfied with his new abilities. He could now summon out a horde of monsters that would shoot out from his draft dimension trampling everything in their path.

Kayda had also awoken shortly after he demonized and she was solidly at the Demi-Monarch level and she had fun rampaging around deep inside the continent filled with hordes of monsters.

He let her out near the Great Lakes in the wilderness while Itachi was at school so he didn't bore her by keeping her in his contract space.

When he told her he was being hunted down her aura immediately went dark as she grew angry at these people who would dare hurt her master.

Space was the most exciting and he could soon teleport over 10 miles in one go since he had broken through to the 7th spiritual barrier making his telekinesis abilities so strong he could completely crush commanders into the ground with just its pressure.

He had completely changed his appearance dying his hair blond, and he planned to compete in the world championships representing America. He had broken into the national registry giving himself a fake identity as Itachi Takahashi an exchange student from Japan who lived alone in an apartment in New York. He planned to show off the space element which would instantly attract him a lot of attention to get him a spot in the National championships.

Similar the Pearl University, they had a large modern battle arena where rankings were made on the strengths of the students. Contrary to the previous however, there were no separate schools and all the elements competed against each other to quickly rise in rankings. The American magic association would be picking up talented students from different universities across America to compete in the national championships that were coming up.

While this may not be the smartest decision considering he had a bunch of self righteous assholes trying to kill him, he was bored of cultivating and traveling, and he wanted to go back to school life to meet people and hopefully have a little competition. He would wait to awaken his next three elements after he was all registered and everything in the university.

He walked through the modern halls of the university students walked to class. He got a lot of strange looks with his spiky blond hair and Japanese appearance that made him look similar to Usui from Kaichou wa maid sama.

His thoughts were interrupted when he was greeted by a blond girl about 5'8 who walked up to him with a curious smile

"Haven't seen you before. Are you some sorta exchange student?"

"Yes, came to America to explore the culture and see what its like over here "

"Whats your name?" she said curiously

"Itachi Takahashi" he replied a little confused

at what she wanted

"Ahhh Japanese are you. Need someone to show you around?" she said playfully curious about this mysterious exchange student

"Sure, I need to get to the deans office to register for my classes" he said simply

She brought him to the deans office leaving after a simple goodbye, where he was greeted by Principal Adams a strong mage in charge of leading the university.

"Ahh Young Itachi, Have a seat" he said warmly at this powerful new student

"You gave us quite the shock revealing high tier Lightning and Space and wind elements at such a young age.

You have to be one of the most talented students in the university" he said cheerfully excited at the prospect of such a talented student joining their ranks unaware he was one of the most wanted men in the world.

Over the past year Itachi's look had greatly changed. He had a completely different hair style died blond and he even had colored contacts changing his eyes from the brown color they were previously to a now exotic purple that gave him a mysterious look.

Smiling back Itachi looked at the man "You are overpraising me, I'm sure this university has many talented students who are much stronger than me" He said humbly obviously lying at the last part since he could obliterate the entire student body.

Smiling at this comment he finished up the greetings opening up a drawer "Here is your schedule you have classes for Magical theory, Monster knowledge theory and practical, and I went ahead and signed you up for the training mission for the elite students to go to the great lakes to survey and fight off the increasing number of monsters inside that threaten human populations in New York bordering Lake Ontario and Erie. There were several commander rank Sea serpents spotted inside so be careful, but I'm quite confident in your strength.

Walking outside Itachi was quite satisfied he could live an easy school life for a while. He had revealed his lightning and space magic, but of course he made himself look a lot weaker than he actually was. It was quite funny that even without his lightning spirit seed, and he only showed his telekinesis to be around the 4th spiritual barrier, yet the school board who was testing him still leapt up from their seats shouting an excitement how they found an unprecedented prodigy.

Walking down the hall he found what he was looking for and stepped into the magic theory classroom led by Mr. Johnson a decent looking middle aged man who looked quite formidable.

"Ahh you must be Itachi, Principal Adams told me about you. Go introduce yourself" he said warmly

Itachi confidently stepped up in front of the curious class and he spotted a familiar blond girl near the back who waved and smiled at him a bit.

"I'm Itachi Takahashi, a exchange student from Japan pleased to meet you all"

Mr. Johnson then pointed to a seat near the back right next to the blond girl who had talked to him earlier.

He walked back towards his seat while the blond girl immediately began talking again "Wow it's cool we have the same class, what are your elements?" she said inquisatively while Itachi received a few glares from a couple males in the room.

"How rude" Itachi responded smirking a bit "Asking such personal questions when you have even yet to introduce yourself."

She quickly pouted a bit "Fine, my name is Gabriella and I am a Fire, Shadow, and Wind high tier mage" she said proudly before following it up with"I am also ranked 4th overall in the entire school, so maybe you should be a bit more respectful" she smirked playfully waiting to see the shocked eyes of this exchange student.

However she was soon disappointed when a lazy look was thrown her way with the words "Good for you, at least you can't be that weak" She turned to glare at him "What do you mean by that? What elements are you?"

Itachi looked out the window mysteriously "Are you sure you want to know?"

Getting angry she said "Yes or are you too afraid to show how weak you are."

Turning around he said mysteriously "Space Lightning wind, all high tier."before turning back towards the window ignoring the shocked looks being thrown his way by those who heard.

The space element was extremely rare. There were probably only around 20 space mages in the entire united states, and here came this unassuming exchange student who had awakened the frightening ability. One of the people near him, a muscular brown haired man, who had been listening in stood up "Derrick Henry ranked 20th I would like to have a spar with you after school" he said excited obviously a battle maniac who wanted to test out the strength of the new student.

"Hmm sure whatever" Itachi replied while the teacher in the front was starting to get very annoyed "I know your excited to talk to the new student, but save it for after class. Now when a mage reaches high tier the stardust...." That was as far as Itachi got before he zoned out at the droning words of the teacher.

He gazed out the window towards the Atlantic Ocean visible right next to the school. There was a large sea wall separating the beach from the land for defense against sea monsters.

Holding his head up with his hands he slowly drifted off not breaking his habit of sleeping in class. After all, why should he learn something he already knows?
