Borderlands System

It is truly a unique experience when you are forced to relive your life's memories. I watched from the beginning as I was birthed to parents, who unfortunately had less than trustworthy friends. People they thought would be with them till the day they died. It was honestly quite sad. I watched as I grew up and my parents turned against me. I watched as my most prized possessions my special collection of items were slowly destroyed in front of me. Fine, I admit it was a bit dramatic to say my parents turned against me. I was a girl of many hobbies, and they thought it was necessary to scold me continuously for having them. "Seriously, I saw what you did with your man Emily." The shout echoed. Of course, the guy I was also complaining about didn't realize I knew about him being gay either, or he would have completely given up on stopping me. Honestly, my family was kind of a mess.

Enough about those people though. So here I was, all alone monologuing to myself kinda hoping, kinda not that someone out in this great vacuum of nothingness I found myself in; was listening to me talk to myself over the past couple of days. "Anyone out there...." Obviously, no one would answer my question that would just be too easy. "Is there any crazily lonely omnipotent beings out there that would enjoy a good round of fun with me. I'll agree if you give me another chance at life....."

Still nothing.

Maybe death hadn't been such a good thing for my soul's peace after all. Man, if I found a way back to earth I was so complaining to them Buddhists. Now I have literally nothing but myself to mess around with, maybe this was limbo or true hell. Wait a second I said play with myself... look I know it sounds wrong but I meant as in a game or something... know what screw it yeah I don't mind that road of thought. Yep I'm completely perverted and their's no reason to find another excuse. Even if it's truly not what I was thinking at first. Oh well...

God I'm bored. Is there seriously nothing out there for me to do. Counting sheep sends people to sleep right. Dang it what does a sheep look like again. It's a fluffy creature right?

Thankfully for what little sanity that was left it was at this moment I felt something happening in my head, and no I don't mean going totally and utterly brain dead.

Awarding Borderland's Icon and Borderland's Body.

Borderland's Icon allows the Gamer's mind to display Borderlands graphics in a real life version.

Borderland's Body gives a physical power boost to the host by using the Borderland's system's leveling scheme.

It was with these messages that out of the corner of my eye a health icon popped out of the corner saying I had 0 health somehow. I guess souls aren't technically physically alive soooo food for thought? Oh well. Then a grenade and bullet icons both popped up saying for both 0/0.

With this established a level popped up down below me with a big large fat 1. At the top right a small map appeared showing that there was obviously nothing around me.

I felt thrilled at this moment when four more dings occurred in quick succession.

"Gamer's mind perk aquired: The user can cause there own emotions to quite down whenever they wish. In cases where emotions may overwhelm the host's thought process the system will weaken them down to a bearable level. Immunity to mind control and body swapping measures has been placed. The system is now unextractable unless the system itself wishes to leave the host or the host wishes from the bottom of her heart for me to leave.

Gamer's Body perk aquired: The user can treat their own body like a game however this is not included for what is around the host unless the host has specifically used Gamer's truth on them.

Gamer's Truth perk aquired: The user can use this to add a item or person to the game. Once this is done it will not give people a system, but it will allow them to give you xp when you kill them or they kill creatures within one of your dungeons. Warning they can not be ungameified once done so be careful. Don't worry though personality's and who a person are will still be the same. Their soul will now just be within a game interactive positive body. Since this is the case the user may also be able to reconstruct the body of these people through various means. On the other hand item's will gain game like effects and could also gain restrictions on their usage when done so be careful with this function when used on powerful items.

Gamer's Dungeon perk aquired: The user can use this to grind and earn prizes once a week. This is done to give the gamer a way of constant improvement even in difficult to game areas. The limit is their to prevent the host from only focusing on the game and not the world around them.

Thinking about it I had always wanted to go to one world in particular. Even if I knew it would be quite violent. Sides I like it rough.... maybe I needed help with my natural innuendo speech. "I would like to go to the Naruto world, System."

With that I felt myself sent towards my dream destination.
