Alternate Universe

As I open my eyes I find myself back in my bed, I got up and kept my self calm since you know once you've been through what I have you won't be the same.

I took my phone and looked directly at the date, but my phone.. Something is strange. I never had a phone like this.

I started the phone and looked at the date its 2020-04-27 the day after my birthday and the day before the scratch accident.

I stood up and kept looking at my phone and search the internet to see if I am back in my place or somewhere completely different because I read lots of novels and fanfictions back in my day.

Oh my god! There is no mention of coronavirus whatsoever it's like it doesn't even exist but this.. I'm not in morocco anymore.. At that moment flashes of memories flood in at once and my head hurts like hell when I get myself back again. I realized I'm in. somewhat different reality not that different from the one i came from but it seems this one is a few more years advanced, so i won't go into details.

I'll tell you what i found about myself, my name is not the same but my appearance is intact, my family isn't the same.. They're different from the previous ones. We live away a few miles from a town in america. I have no idea what it's called and I don't care about details like that. I'm not the only child in the family. I have a big brother and a big sister, well let's stop talking about family now.

Now that i get such a chance to perform well this time, i'll do things right without triggering a nuclear war.

So the best thing to do is try learning engineering, if that doesn't work I'll have to infiltrate the military and destroy things from the inside.

I left my room to wash my face then i went down to the kitchen. and i found my siblings eating breakfast with what seems to be my father, but hell if I call them that I have no emotional connection to them. I'll keep pretending for now, but in truth they're live test subjects.

"Good morning liam, "

Ah yea thats my name in this reality or alternate universe call it what you want, my original one is Yassin and i'll never forget it.

"Good morning mom, eggs huh?"

"Yes eggs, what more do you want?"

"Nevermind"

I took a seat and my mom, yea i'll keep calling her that, she placed scrambled eggs and a cup of milk in my place and started eating, man it's been a very long time since i've eaten even though i have no hunger going on, my organs are hard but still the taste is great.

I emptied my plate and got up and left the house exploring the woods on my family's property.

I kept walking as always and took a wood piece and cut myself, and what I expected happened my wound healed perfectly and another thing that came with me is my blood.

Because of many evolutions i've gone through in the past my blood color changed from red to pure black and since i had lots of undead going around killing everything they came across i never tried scratching someone after my many evolutions.

I'll go home and see what to do, maybe I'll start with the so called family and see what they'll become afterwards? Yep I'll do that. It's decided i'll test first while learning engineering at the same time, all i have to do is eat a brain and get the knowledge but i only tried it once and it was somewhat disgusting but i'll have to keep up with it in order to move forward.

I'm back home, and found the so-called brother in the house with my sister so i asked.

"Where is mom and dad?"

"They've gone to town, you need something?" - the brother replied, and i don't like his tongue so i walked up to him and scratched him in his hand, but it seems he didn't feel it so i scratched my sister too and left them and went to my room to research further using my laptop this time.

In order for the scratch or the bite to take effect it takes a few minutes and you get a fever then you die and come back, like zombies in movies. But this isn't a movie, it's reality.

I turned on my laptop and waited for it to start up, then opened my browser and started searching and learning everything I could find about engineering at the same time. I heard screams outside my room now and then but i paid no mind to it, so i kept absorbing knowledge non stop.

After I finished with engineering I made my way to the kitchen only to find both my parents getting eaten by my brother and sister and when i made a sound they looked at me and said.

"It's not what it looks like.."

Wow it seems like they can talk normally, so replied "so do you guys feel okay?"

"Wait, why would.." Before they could continue I snapped my finger and they stopped eating our parents and stood up and came close to me and said in surprise "ho-how did you do that?"

"It seems like a success, my evolutions were worth it, anyway you two clean up the mess and and get ready we'll be leaving this house and go to town" i said making a grin after that, and they get to it directly, but while cleaning up the bodies i saw their mouths drool over flesh. It seems hunger for flesh is still a problem. Well it doesn't matter, what i need is those nuclear missiles and extermination day comes in after that rebuilding, you know what i mean.

I have the perfect way to start and that is to start my own Umbrella corporation in this reality, instead of rich people in cryo it will be just me and my creation who are left to clean up, hehehaha.

After a few hours we burned the house after we took what we needed and left heading to town by foot. I don't hate or love walking but it's something i've been doing all my life so i can't stop walking and i can't get tired.
