Sandgem town.

Shaymin and Sylveon POV.

They had flown for a day when they landed at an orchard on top of the mountain.

According to the Altaria and Swablu, the elderly couple that cared for the orchard, had especially planted them for hungry Pokémon passing by.

It was a beautiful sight, as dozens of Flying Pokémon had landed in the orchard, eating the many berries filled in woven baskets and growing trees.

There were many types of berries, Oran, Aspear, Pecha, you name it, it would be growing there. For every Pokémon there would be a berry they would like.

On the terrace of a little wooden cabin sat the elderly couple in rocking chairs, watching with pleasant eyes at the eating Pokémon.

They had lived there for years and enjoyed watching the wild Pokémon eat and relax.

As they were watching the wild Pokémon, their eyes halted at the group of Altaria, as saw something an unusual.

On top of their back sat a pair of Pokémon they hadn't seen before, along with a little girl. Watching on, they noticed that something was wrong, as the Altaria carried the company towards the cabin.

"What's the matter dear? Does something hurt?"

The elderly woman said as she walked closer to the Altaria with worried eyes.

She looked carefully, but didn't spot any wounds on the Altaria.

It had to be something else then.

The Altaria lowered it's back, letting the Pokémon pair and girl of from it's back, after which it regrouped with it's flock and continued their break.

"Another patient?"

The Elderly man stood beside his wife, as he also discerned something was off. The small girl was extremely pale, small beads of sweat covering her face.

"It appears so, dear." The elderly woman said, her hand resting at the side of her head in worry.

Sylveon stood in front of the couple, motioning worriedly at Ashley.

It was so difficult when people couldn't understand them. All they could do was use gestures and hope they would understand.

"Ah, it must be worrying you. Then you should let my husband have a look. He used to be doctor, so there is no need to be worried about your trainer."

The elderly woman patted Sylveon on her head, hoping to reassure her.

Sylveon breathed a sigh of relief, walking after the elderly pair, who'd already opened the door of the cabin.

Shaymin, however, didn't trust the pair, evidently because of his earlier bout of trust had betrayed him severely. Still, he went inside, as this couple were the only people who could help Ashley for now.

That didn't mean he would let his guard down. As soon as they showed their true colours, he would protect Ashley with all his might to make sure she was safe.

"My, my, don't be so shy. Hurry up. We've got some food for you inside."

The old lady said as she headed towards the kitchen.

Sylveon followed behind the old man, placing Ashley on the sofa, following the elderly's instructions.

Shaymin however, kept a close eye on everything the man did. He silently stared from his perch on the arm rest, watching for suspicous movements.

The elderly man put his fingers to Ashley's wrist, checked her pupil response while also checking her temperature.

He seemed a bit surprised at the little antlers, but didn't speak about it.

He did a lot more, but Sylveon didn't know what meaning his gestures had, so she watched from the side.

Having finished the check-up he sighed.

"No need to worry. The drug used on the girl has almost worn down. She's lucky she didn't get more of this drug in her system; otherwise the results would be devastating. I've done first aid for now, but it would be in your best interest to take her to a hospital. I don't have the right equipment to examine her, don't even mention cure her."

Sylveon nodded at the elderly's words, taking his words to heart.

The town the Altaria spoke about seemed to be their only hope. There might be a doctor there that could help Ashley.

The elderly man washed his hands as he helped his wife in the kitchen.

Before long, two bowls with mashed berries and Pokémon food was placed in front of them. Besides were two small bowls with berry juice and water.

Meanwhile, the elderly man carefully fed the small girl little sips of juice, to make sure she was hydrated and nourished.

"Unfortunately we can't look after your trainer. We're already too old and won't have many years left. It's better if you can find some other kind-hearted people."

The old lady said, having already tried to come up with solutions.

It was heart breaking for her to leave such a small child to fend for herself, yet she was sure there would be someone to take care of her in the future.

Finishing their meal, Sylveon grabbed Ashley again and moved towards the flock of Altaria, Shaymin not far behind.

The Altaria having already finished their food, were already waiting for them.

Climbing back onto their backs, Sylveon and Shaymin waved goodbye at the kind elderly couple, as their figures grew more distant the higher they got.

While they were flying through the sky, they saw a lot of Pokémon they hadn't seen before. They flew past many Pidgey flocks and Starly flocks.

When they looked down, they could see many other Pokémon, mostly flying-type and Bug-type.

Though most of the Pokémon were bird Pokémon, they once saw a blue Pokémon with a serpentine head, and big red wings.

It glanced at them once, before flying away towards tall mountains in the distance.

"That's a Salamence. They're really nasty when you get on their bad side."

The Altaria helpfully mentioned, flying forward at a faster pace.

As the sun was setting, a small town came in view. The buildings down below had a lot of space between them with big gardens filling the empty spaces.

It didn't seem to be densely populated.

At the edge of the town, they could see a large building with a lot of pasture behind it. besides it was a windmill. All around the building and pastures were fences, if it was to keep Pokémon inside or intruders outside, Shamin didn't know.

On the pasture were a lot of other terrains, like lakes, sandy dunes and hills.

At every terrain were a lot of Pokémon.

Amongst those Pokémon walked a man wearing a lab coat with white hair and glasses. Besides the elderly man, there were other people, but they were at different terrains, seemingly writing something on paper.

As it was rare to see such a huge flock of Altaria, the elderly man looked up in amazement as he began to write in a notepad.

The Altaria spotted the man and began to descend.

Not expecting wild Altaria to suddenly land in human territory, the man watched with curiosity and intrigue as the Altaria landed in front of him.

As his curiosity grew, he came closer to the Altaria flock.

His curiosity peaked as two unknown Pokémon got off of the back of one Altaria.

Carrying on one of the Pokémon back was a little girl with bright white hair with black and blue bangs.

Seeing the worried look in the Pokémon's eyes, the man knew the situation had to be dire.

It would've been impossible to get help from wild Pokémon if it hadn't been dire.

Calling for the other people, they hurried the two unknown Pokémon and their trainer towards the building.
