Chapter 12
[Tempest]
The demon dashed straight at me. I tried to dodge it but the demon was way faster than me. The demon bit my left arm and tore it off.
[Health:90/120]
I quickly jumped away from it. Enduring the pain I began to realize that this was a bad idea. But I didn't have time to think. The demon dashed to me once again only this time I managed to avoid the hit. I jumped above the demon and then I kicked it's head. But as soon as I got back at the ground a notification popped up.
[Physical damage nullified]
I opened my palm and aimed for the demon. I concentrated and then screamed
Blue flames then came out of my palms and hit the demon.

The damage I just did shocked me.

The notifications I just got made me feel a bit better. Now I stand a chance against the demon. And then another notification came up.
[Mana: 100/110]
"So each move consumes 10 huh? Well I only need 3 more." I thought while preparing another shot. This time I equipped my gauntlets.
[Gauntlets Equipped +15 magical damage and +15 strength]
Even before saying the word flames already started to come out of my palm. The demon was still on the ground so it was an easy target.

But I then realized that I was gonna make it my dimensional pet. I walked towards it and a notification popped up.
[Do you want to make this your dimensional beast?]
[Beginning dimensional beast ritual]

"How long has it been?"

[Demon dragon Rulid is now your dimensional beast]
[Acquired additional skill alongside Rulid, Tempest]
[Tempest consist of the following]
[Regeneration (passive), barrier, limited copy, slime morph]
"Slime morph? Limited copy?"
[Slime morph- let's you turn into a slime. This skill also affects regeneration. While you can just regenerate the severed part there is also the option of just absorbing it again to speed up the process. By doing so additional skills "Slime properties and ultra speed regeneration" will be acquired.]
"Why does this sound so familiar?"
[I do not not know]
"Hey since when did you get a personality?"
I didn't actually pay that much attention to the system. It had a voice of a woman but that's it, it didn't really have a personality before. But why does it have one now?
[Limited copy- let's you copy an ability for 5 minutes ( can be extended if skill levels up or advances to a new stage).]

I opened my eyes and looked around. I didn't see Rulid anywhere.
[Do you want to summon Rulid?]
As soon as I said yes Rulid was summoned from my shadow. Looking at him now he looks menacing. Wait, is Rulid even a male?
Rulid shook his head once.
I recalled him back and went back to my own dimension. It seems like I've been in there for almost 5 hours.
I didn't even realize it but my whole left arm was regenerated.
"So what am i? A demon? A slime? I wasn't human anymore when I first levelled up, but now I'm a slime as well I think?"
[Answer, you are a dark slime or rather a demon slime.]
Now I remember why being a slime and Tempest sounded so familiar.
"Am I just being this world's Rimuru Tempest?"
[....kinda]
"Well it's fine really"
I jumped to my bed and immediately fell asleep.

I woke up and realized something. It's a weekend so I didn't have to wake up early but nevertheless I still did. I tried to sleep again but I couldn't. As I was thinking of something to do my phone suddenly rang. It was a call from Stella.
'Hello? Kashi?'
'Oh hey, good morning'
'I was just bored since I don't really have anything to do on the weekends.'
'Wanna meet up at the school so we could go to the mall?'
'Yay! Okay me you in about an hour'
She hung up the phone. I immediately went to the bathroom and took a bath.
After 10 minutes I was finally done. I put some casual clothes on. I went to the fridge and got some cereal for my breakfast. I was done in just 10 minutes.
I went to the door and was about to go out. But as I was about to hold the door knob I realized something. I was actually happy. Maybe it was because I was no longer human that my emotions are starting to return. This can be both good and bad. Bad in combat since some emotions get in the way. But I can't stop it I think so I'll just think something out.
I went out and used lightning speed to get to the school. I wasn't tired at all. I got to school way earlier than the plan we had made so I had to wait a bit.

A few minutes had passed and she finally arrived. She was in a car that was driven by her dad. As she got out of the car I saw a glimpse of Mr. Julius giving me a deadly stare. I couldn't help but just smile nervously.
I looked at her and she seemed to be the only thing in focus right now. Her blue dress compliments her silver hair. She was already pretty but now it's just too much for me to handle. And before I knew it I couldn't take my eyes off of her.
