Taking care of her brother was a long term game but Chen Chunhua was a mere two weeks away from her grasp. There was a cold light that emerged in her eyes and a devious smile that graced her face. Both were prompted by her excitement at what was to come, 'oh I cannot wait.'
She needed to iron out the details of her plan, it would be the official start to her rebirth and the first death flag. If she was able to flip the script successfully then it was proof that fate could change in her hands. The first step in all of this is to remain under the radar and make the enemies believe she had fallen into their trap. This meant that she had to go to the designer once again and enlist her help for the dress.
There was no pain in her heart regarding this task, it was not her money nor would the designer always be safe from her. The day she had power every single one of them would feel her wrath. She had no doubt that the dress would be made the same as last time and there was no way she would actually wear it. So while she had fooled them into thinking she was satisfied with her dress, she had to find another one to replace it on the down low.
Thankfully, she was in a mall right now and could include dress searching as part of her tasks. This could also be her reasoning if she was found in any other stores today and her reason to frequent more malls within this time period. More mall time equalled more potential cash gain - it was her golden excuse.
However, If she could not find anything today and tomorrow, then she had to enlist a private designer. By using the designer and a secondary one to create two dresses, she reaped benefits easily. Two weeks was a short time and left her a little antsy to find the second person. Without the second person she would not be able to attend the gala. Her mother would be the first one to make her stay home and reflect on the lack of dress. There was no option of wearing an older dress because the level of the gala required a new piece.
Just by the style or designer, people could tell when the dress was made so it would be embarrassing to come with an older one. In her past life, she had been turned down a couple of times before settling on the designer. After that, she did not bother to check in or follow any other designer to make her clothes, she just accepted the one in front of her. That lack of judgement could be said to be her naivety then.
What would have been the right thing to do was to try reaching out to more designers and keep her options open. The first taker did not mean they were all she had to chose from but it was she herself who narrowed those potential designers. On top of mistakingly choosing the first one, there were mistakes in the ordering of the piece as well. For something as important as this, she should have settled an iron clad contract and seen the dress midway before anything was confirmed. That way it would minimize the ways the designer set her up and would hold her legally bound to a contract.
After all, any body would feel pressured after signing something with legal jargon on it.
Just as she debated on another designer a beautiful face floated in her mind. 'Should I go to her...? I've given such a vague instructions and she already seems busy with it. Would it be okay for her to add another request?'
She muttered quietly to herself, there was no reason to bring her into this mess but she felt an inexplicable amount of trust towards the other. For fashion matters, there was no question that Vin's ability was not comparable to the regular ones floating around. Therefore, any dress that she designed would suit her, the time and expense of them was her only two comments. With her purchase just now, the bill was expected to be close to a million yuan and would not be done quickly. Asking for another dress on rush order might be much even if they had spoken pleasantly to each other. Pushing her to the side, she wanted to try her best at the remaining people before using her last resort.
The dress was the first element to her plan, the others involved the actual event itself. There were so many things that she wanted to write down but was afraid to do so. She did not want to leave her own paper trail nor did she trust her phone that was easy to hack. There was a faint recollection of a hack she learned as a child where you were able to make ink disappear with natural agreements. Then to make it reappear you had to either add a specific solution or there were ones where you can hold it above fire and the words slowly emerged.
It was a cool sight to see virtually and had etched onto her mind as a child when she first saw it. This childhood memory is what made her become curious and interested in the ability to make ink disappear. Just as she struggled on how to write notes, this idea came back into her mind as a reminder of what she could do to salvage the situation. To have that sort of solution right now was amazing but until she found the recipe she was stuck with her overworked brain.
Moving on from dresses, she refocused on the main target. She had started with her and quickly switched between topics and ended up focusing her energy on the designer. Even while focusing her mind was in a disarray, she focused properly but switched topics constantly. While she did spew some words of distaste towards Chunhua no concrete plan was thought up. There were a lot of important aspects to consider and the very real possibility that Chunhua will give up on humiliating her once seeing her dress change.
'Last time it was your game.....this time its mine.'
