chapter 4: Time to Get Even

Morning ladies, did you sleep well? Of course we did. What's for breakfast? "eggs and bacon." After we all ate, Katie and I went off for a walk to plan our attack on Ashley. After the snake in the sleeping bag, it had to be good. There wasn't much Ashley was afraid of, except spiders she hated them. But finding a non-poisen one isn't always easy. Hey Amiee, hey Katie. Who knew I'd run into you guys here.

It was Bryan, the cutest boy in the 7th grade! What are you girls up to? oh, just looking for a spider to freak my sister out. Well my little bro brought his toy spiders with him. Scared my mom once when she found them in bed with her. Oh, and I brought my pet tarantula along. Perfect! oh Bryan, what would it take to borrow the fake spiders and your little pet? For you ladies, $5 and if anything happens to Harry you'll be replacing him. Got it? "we got it." So we collected the spiders and gave Bryan the $5 and headed back to our camp site. When we got back we saw Katie's dad, but not her mom or our sisters. We saw that the car was gone so that was our chance to plant the spiders. We hid the fake spiders in Ashley's sleeping bag, on her pillow,and in her things. Katie was the look out. Amiee hurry their coming back! So I hurried and placed Harry in the back of the tent and slipped out. As they rounded the corner to the parking spot, Katie and I were already in out tents changing to our swimsuits. "Hey ladies." Hey mom, where'd you go? "To the store to get stuff for s'mores, where'd you two run off to this morning?" Ah, we decided to go for a walk. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! their everywhere! Off Katie's parents went to rescue Ashley now, for she found the spiders. "Oh, their just fake Ashley. exclaimed Katie's dad. Where they came from I dont know, they aren't from our home. Just then Bryan came running over after hearing the screams. ahhhhhh! that ones moving!!!! it's huge! kill it! kill it! "wait! let me get it, I'm Bryan. Bryan collected the tarantula and put it in a cup and carried it off. We ran off behind him to thank him. When we returned, all eyes were on us. "What did you girls do?" Us? we went for a walk, came back and changed into our swimsuits. "So you dont know how those spiders got there?" No, we don't own any of those they look like boy toys. Why would we girls handle insects? Yuck! were good.

"Well perhaps it was that boy, he seemed to handle that spider well and from the looks of it took the fake spiders with him. Alright go on and swim, don't forget sunscreen." Phew that was a close one, do you think your parents brought it? who knows, we didn't get into trouble so who cares. The next morning, we started packing up everything and putting it into the car. On the way home we stopped for biscuits and gravy. My fave. Bye Amiee, see you at school tomorrow.
