Power Of the Knowledge

The power Feng emitted had crossed mortal limits, he had now reached the threshold to a new realm of power, and he was unable to break the barrier blocking him from reaching that new level of power.

In Feng's mind, Damon was trembling, but he hid it with a smile and muttered under his breath.

[Damn that Kami, he always knows when to help. Am I really the older brother? He actually went ahead to give him the knowledge of the world, he still has his body parts, so what did Feng lose?]

He pondered over it and concentrated on the fight between his vessel and power-crazed disciple was going. This was one of the few times he had seen the knowledge in action, so he couldn't let this opportunity pass.

[Why am I standing here? This is good material, I need to type this!]

Saying this he scratched his head a little and stretched his hand towards the laptop that lay on the floor. The sounds of clicking rapidly were heard, and Damon kept on looking at the fight so the book could keep up with it.

Feng in the air was drunk on power, so he just wanted to see what the Nephilim youth across him could do, but with this level of power, he was just too strong. So he decided to limit it a little.

In Heaven

Kami was currently watching the fight between Feng and Amon, watching the moment Feng limited his power, Kami arched an eyebrow of light and spoke.

"What's this? He is limiting the power of the knowledge, what is he trying to achieve by doing that? It seems I will find out soon."

The power that he radiated was now little enough not to kill him with one punch, he praised his efforts in his head and dashed towards the still confused Amon, with crackling blades in hand. This time around he landed physical hits and he no longer sent out electric arcs from the weapons because the electric arcs were part of the irrelevant knowledge in his head, so they were wiped out by 'The knowledge of the world'.

His attacks were still more than suitable to deal with Amon, the opponent who was getting thrashed suddenly growled and said.

"Puny ant! Do I look like your punching bag!"

"Hmph, you sort of do,"

Replying, Feng continued hitting him with the blades, he wanted to test out the blades in a different way, so he spread his energy through the two weapons and held them high in the sky, the divine lightning that came once fell again, but this time it was summoned by the blades and not Kami.

The divine lightning ran across the blade and moved towards Feng's arms like little lightning snakes. Seeing this moment of distraction, Amon chanted a few words and a generic sword appeared in front of him. He moved forward to strike Feng down. He actually succeeded.

A large gash now covered the right side of Feng's face just below his eyes, and feeling proud of himself, Amon started yelling and laughing like a madman.

"Ahahaha, that was my Eternal Laceration Sword, the wounds that I inflict with this sword are eternal, and with the level of your demon mark, it will be impossible for you to heal it. Ahahahahaha."

At first Feng was alarmed at this, but his worries were for nought, during the period his opponent was laughing the battle away, the energy in his body suddenly moved to where the gash was on his face, a warm light covered it and as quickly as it appeared the warm light vanished. Of course, the fool of an opponent he had did not notice this in his period of jubilation. And when he finally noticed, he was too dumbfounded to even fight again, all he said was:

"Little boy, I'll be back, just you wait for me, when that strange power is gone you will be helpless"

"Ok," Feng replies shrugging and wondering what was always in the head of this opponent.

The portal from which Amon came from appeared again, and with one last look towards Feng, he snorted and entered the portal.

Feng's victory was now guaranteed.

His opponents couldn't possibly have a summon stronger than Amon. Knowing this, he walked towards Aether servant and pressed the blades against his neck and yelled loud enough for everyone in the stadium to hear.

"YIELD!"

Aether servant lost all hope, and he felt utterly defeated, the only other time he felt this way was when he was crippled, losing like this to a child. Trying to console himself, he thought:

'At least I lost to a child who can beat a Nephilim from the aether.'

"I yield."

The whole arena was silent for five seconds, then suddenly the whole crowd burst into cheers. The people who bet on him were now happy that they did, they all laughed merrily of their good fortune.

[The winner of this match is our to-leave Modern Day Asura, Lightning God Lin Feng]

In the VIP area of the arena, the mouth of the WI was thoroughly hanging, threatening to fall off his face, he was utterly speechless. The other VIPs came over to go congratulate him on his good fortune.

'B-B-But wha-… how did he beat aether servant, crap it looks like I'll have to fulfil my promise this time around, this little boy has too many secrets.'

Just as the crowd was jubilating and cheering for the win, the youth they all cheered for suddenly disappeared, and while in the state of happiness, the surrounding people did not notice that at all.

Inside a dimly lit corridor, Feng was breathing heavily and leaning on the walls for support. He questioned Damon about what happened but was met with a vague answer.

[The Knowledge. You haven't finished absorbing it all yet.]

All that was in Feng's mind was.

'What does that even mean.'

The world was turning black and white, his vision was fading and then he collapsed, the last words he heard were:

"Someone call the Healers!"

Feng's vision fully closed, and now he fainted.
