The Journey (1)

Feng stood in front of the crystal palace, with several bags and maps in hand, he had healed up and was heading to the Mercenary Valley. This time around he wasn't clothed in the trashy gear from the earth, he was wearing something that Damon personally gave him. These equipment were some legendary artefacts of the celestial demon race.

On his hands were white, silky light gauntlets Damon described as Demonic Silk Gauntlets, the gloves were comfortable and supposedly, they could amplify strength, casting speed and magic, they also had a slight effect on his hand speed. As said by Damon, these pairs of gloves could hide weapons like poisonous needles and other hidden weapons.

In order not to give an impression that he was weak, Damon also included several other items, a cloak he called The Nightmare Shroud of Nature; it was like a set item; it had some add-ons to it. It was a black-coloured cloak, that had read highlights covering it, making it seem like blood-stained it, it also came with a mask, it was not necessarily right to call it a mask, but with the aura, it gave off, it was definitely a supreme treasure; it was a black mask that had six eyes embedded to the sides; three for each side.

And for the finishing touches, a sword that was made to look broken, placed in a sheath strapped at his back and a pair of boots, the Phantom Wraith boots, with this combination of equipment, Feng felt like a rich player who bought all the good equipment and was ready to go bully some poor players.

Kirin did not follow Feng and went to the warrior's arena to look for recruitment, so he was all alone, travelling with no one but the two voices in his head.

"God, one of these days I will run mad, with Damon always bothering me and Proteus always cultivating!"

He mumbled under his breath, and if anyone were to hear what he said, they would have run over to console him.

He only cursed himself for being so strong and trudged forward on his path. He looked back one more time at the crystal palace and decided it was best not to look back again.

Feng was walking to Mercenary Valley. He would have to cross five regions to get there, it would take at least one year to get there, that is without the use of mounts or transportation services.

Feng was more than happy to walk, because he would familiarize himself with the surroundings and pick up some magic along the way.

He walked forward steadily and reviewed all the information of the Dark Continent, which he knew.

The dark continent is one continent in the fantasy dimension, it is separated into 360 regions, there are eight danger zones in the dimension, of which being, Blood God Forest, Moon Crystal Canyon, Pagoda Jungle, Soulless Seas, Wolf Crystal Palace, Minotaur's Maze, Tomb of Emperors and The Sea of Lightning.

Each of them had their dangers, and earth immortals occupied two of them, this was an incredible feat, only transcendent earth immortals could accomplish; in WI's case, he had incredible talent and affinity with the crystal palace. The Blood Queen captured the forest herself and even had a part to play in it, becoming a danger zone. One could see how terrifying the teacher of bloodsucker was.

The dark continent was in the middle when it came to danger zones, but the Human continent, The beast continent and the Wasteland were at the very top of the list. After his adventures on this continent, Feng decided he was going to the Human Continent next.

meanwhile, he would find his brethren and upgrade the abilities that came with his bloodline, if he could not do that, he would just cultivate mana and the other energies.

He looked through the memories of the things the knowledge told him and found a way to check his elemental and other affinities, the one he chose in the end, was to use the spiritual energy to form a colour wheel in his mind, they represented affinities and other things.

Feng multitasked; walking and finding out the affinities he had. He followed the instructions and performed them. In his mind a colour wheel with few colours appeared in his mind, Damon who was there typing in his half spectre form was startled by the appearance of this wheel. The colour wheel had a colour that seemed akin to all the colours of lightning in the world, he immediately concluded that this was this lightning element. The mana of this element also felt like lightning. Out of the colours in the wheel, this one was the smallest, but only when it was compared to the other colours.

There was a Blood-red colour just next to the previous colour, the space it took up was a little bigger than the previous, it gave off the mana of blood, desolation and slaughter. This mana was the aura from the technique:

"The Primordial Path of the Asura"

There were still three other colours on the wheel. There was a Black demonic type colour that had an odd sort of holy mana. This currently took up most of the space on the wheel, he seemed to realize why.

The mana of his celestial demon bloodline took up the biggest space because it was a part of his blood, it was the biggest affinity he would ever need, as for the others he was not even so sure about them, it was until Damon spoke up that he seemed to get.

[Hmm, those last mana parts are actually simple, see that one that seems like the boundless stars in the world. Well, I can't blame you if you don't realize what this one is. This mana comes from the Primordial Chaos itself. You don't seem to realize it, but you are probably the luckiest person in the world, with these affinities there is no place in the world that can deter your abilities at all, take, for example, your friend Torch would die in a place filled with elements such as Extreme Yin and somewhere like a Water Secret realm.]

Feng nodded his head in agreement and waited for Damon to continue speaking.

[As for the second element. I don't even get how you can't sense something that is part of your body.]

Damon says, his brain filled with confusion.

The conversation stops for a while, then he suddenly jumps up and speaks with clarity.

[That part of you is yet to be awoken, it should be the part that your clan stems from. The Druidic Mana, you are the most blessed person in the world with all these mana types, the primordial chaos mana is mainly due to your contact with Divine elements, and The Knowledge]

Feng nodded and let Damon process what he knew. He looked back into the real world and found himself in the front of the first village on the road to the Mercenary Valley. At the top of the town entrance, in crudely written calligraphy, was a sign that said,

"Orisha Mountain Village"

According to his knowledge, this wasn't some ordinary mountain village, with his knowledge of earth he could tell with a glance that the "Orisha" meant. Orishas were minor gods, they were venerated in a particular country in Africa, these orishas had similar beliefs to his Chinese clan.

If he was correct, it meant some people from this dimension already went to earth before the WI and the others; they spread their teachings from here to earth, giving birth to a multitude of religions and ways of life.

Even in the fantasy dimension, it was said that the royal family of the human clan would have to respect them, because of the powerful warriors the clan and the village gave birth to, Feng knew he was on sacred grounds so he had to trudge carefully.
