Pretty boy?

Edwyn was a 18 year old boy, with a unmanly physique. Pretty green eyes, long and slender black hair and a smooth skin which he didn't even need to take care of. However he took no proud of his appareance because it was the reason why he was bullied during all his school years. Not enough manly for boys, and too effeminate for girls.

But Edwyn couldn't care less now because he got his degree and today was the day of his revenge on life!

Starting from today, he would take back his rights and fight to become the best!

How? With the New VR MMORPG "Sinful Legends"!

Who cares about a job when you can just enjoy your time and get money in a game? That was the real life!

Edwyn was an orphan so he had no familial obligations, he was all by himself in his tiny flat. Laying on the sofa, he put the VR helmet on his head and logged in the game.

Sinful Legends was released a couple days ago and everyone rushed at the start, this way the beginner area should be less populated, at least that was what Edwyn expected.

He arrived in a blank space, with a menu in front of him.

"Select your class."

With the new technology, there was no more personalization for your skin, the game reproducted your real appearance at the perfection, so the only thing left to choose was the class you wanted to play.

"Warrior, too brutal, I don't want to fight that close. Rogue? I like to stay low-profile, but stab from behind isn't my forte. Mage? Nah. What I want is power, the power to overcome everything, the power to be respected, feared and loved, the ultimate power! I'm gonna play Priest!"

With a large smile on his face, Edwyn selected the Priest class, a class specialized in healing other peoples and keep them alive.

If you can prevent them from dying, they would relying on you and then it would mean you've got the total control on their lives! Hahahahahaha!

His inner monologue was interrupted by a flash, and the blank space switched to a green one. He was on the top of a hill, surrounded by grass and wild animals, with a bright sun in a totally blue sky.

It wasn't the first MMORPG Edwyn played. He was used to rely on virtual distraction to forget the pain of being bullied during all his teenage years. That's why he knew that the first step was to kill monsters in order to get experience points and then level up.

Carefully looking around him, he found a squirrel roaming around peacefully.

"This... should be ok for me, I guess!"

Edwyn gripped his wooden staff and slowly moved toward the squirrel.

Soon, a label appeared above the animal.

[Defenceless squirrel. Level 1.]

Edwyn stopped when he was only a few meters away, and looked at his availables spells.

[Slow Heal.]

[Heal your target for 20 HP.]

And that's all.

No offensive spell?!

The young boy carefully searched again, but it was his only spell.

How was he supposed to fight then? By pummeling a poor squirrel to death with his staff??

But who would do something that cruel !

A few face flashed in his mind.

A lot of people in fact.

Edwyn grimaced, it wasn't what he expected.

"Hey pretty boy, want some help?"

A voice rang behind him.

Surprised, the young boy turned around and discovered a woman looking at him with a smile on her face.

She was tall, taller than him, with blond hair and an haircut on the right side of her head. A pair of blue eyes was locked on him. She wore a plate armor which shaped her profile, revealing appealing curves.

"You're staring too much pretty boy." She said, and Edwyn blushed, understanding that his gaze was uncomfortable.

He looked at his feet.

"I'm sorry madam, I didn't wanted to be impolite. You asked something?"

"You're a priest." She said. "I guess you can't fight alone so do you need my help to kill some monsters?"

Edwyn was overjoyed, that was a perfect opportunity! He wouldn't be obliged to pummel this poor squirrel!

However, if life taught him something, that was to never trust anybody blindly. No one would ever do something for free. Especially beautiful girl, and this one was very veeeeery beautiful.

Gathering his courage, Edwyn raised his head and looked in her eyes.

"I don't mind, but what do you want in exchange?"

She looked back and smiled.

"If we group together, I want to grind level 3 elite monsters. Take it or leave it."

Edwyn went pale. This woman was totally crazy!!
