Dinner and a Show!

The next morning Robin awoke again, there was a light breeze blowing in from the window. Her body still ached all over, and she was hungry...so hungry! Robin quickly realized she wasn't alone, standing in front of the doors that went onto the balcony was the silhouette of the man, the sunlight was highlighting his soft skin, and his dark hair, he was slipping on a shirt, Robin watched as the outline of the toned chest was covered in the light shirt.

"Enjoy the show?" Mr Caldwell asked revealing himself as a walked towards the bed, as he stepped out of the bright light. Robin blushed she was staring but she didn't mean to there just wasn't anything else in the room to look at. Mr Caldwell didn't wait for her to reply, "Do you feel well enough to eat again?"

Robin nodded her mouth was dry, and she could feel her stomach rumbling. Mr Caldwell nodded and called out, "Ms Patch can you please bring in the breakfast that was prepared for Miss Giggs."

Robin's eye widened as she watched a trolly full of food enter the room, being pushed by the lady from before. The trolly was covered in so much food, Robin could feel her mouth-watering. There was pancakes, thick rashers of bacon, piles of fruit, pastries, eggs and so many syrups and creams

"I didn't know what you liked so I asked the cooks to prepare a couple of things if there is nothing you want here I can ask them to cook something different.." Mr Caldwell said calmly to Robin. Robin shook her head, everything looked so tasty she couldn't wait to dig in. Gently she pushed herself up, she could feel the bandages tight around her back they felt like they were keeping her body in one piece. Robin was very aware that the bandages where all she was wearing so she was careful not to let the duvet drop below her chest. Mr Caldwell glared at her as she winced slightly, as her elbows rubbed on the soft sheets below "I would have helped you if you had just asked." He said darkly.

"No," Robin her voice was hoarse and raspy. She wanted to avoiud being touched by Mr Caldwell as much as possible

.

"Juice?" Asked Ms Patch, the woman had her hair black hair tied in a bun, Robin could see visible streaks of grey in the woman's hair. Her face was tender and calm a complete contrast to Mr Caldwell's cold sharp face. Robin nodded obediently and drank the juice down quickly as the liquid hit her throat she instantly felt quenched and so much better.

"Thank you," Robin said to Ms Patch, as she took away the empty glass and handed Robin another full one.

"What next dear? I can make you up a plate." Ms Patch held a large white plate in her hands, her calming voice was making Robin feel so much better, Robin couldn't understand how such a nice woman could work for someone like Mr Caldwell. Robin was overwhelmed by all the choices but after some thought, she picked out, a stack of pancakes and bacon covered with maple syrup, with a pile of strawberries and blueberries on the side.

Mr Caldwell watched angrily from the corner of the room, as Ms Patch prepared a plate for Robin, his eyes never moving from the girl. Ms Patch realized her mistake a little too late as she had already passed the plate over to Robin who was staring at the food as if was a pile of rubies! A brush of metal awoke Robin from her trance Robin looked up, Mr Caldwell was holding out a knife and fork to her, Robin said nothing and took the cutlery.

Robin wanted to savour every bite of the food, as it was so delicious it truly tasted like it had been made by a legendary chef! Robin was so hungry though that she engulfed the entire plates in minutes. She felt so full, she looked down to her stomach and thought she was going to pop out through her bandages!Dinner
