First Task

The fateful day arrived--

The team set out with all the equipments necessary for them. Their first task was to infiltrate this base. From what they know, this base was one of the many bases which manufactured the weapons for mass destruction. They came towards the base which was hidden deep in the mountains.

The entrance was just like a hospital but needed a card to get in. There were no guards stationed outside except inside, there were hundreds. The not-at-all-bovine Lan walked up to the entrance and tapped on his computer for some time.

"Its open, come in. We have got only 15 seconds!", he called out.

They rushed in one by one. Roger and Ansem was the last to rush in and the door was almost closing when Ansem went in. Huff...

They spread out in three groups of 5 and one group of 2 people as there were 17 of them. Amber was always close to Ansem.

When they entered they could smell the obnoxious smell of medicines. Everything was in stealth mode.

As everybody went their way, something seemed abnormal..there were no guards when they further went inside. Accordimg to reports, there were humdreds stationed here. How come none was seen?

"Shit! We feel into their trap. There's no turning back now. Proceed as planned", Roger sounded from their IEMs.

"We have to get that mole out. Else if this keeps happening. There is no guarantee that we will be finishing this mission", the female doctor responded.

They had already wore mask when they entered here, and the smell they sensed when they first entered was getting more and more stronger.

Though they took different routes, it led to one big door. When they met each other, they were startled. They were surely good as dead as they had fallen deep into their enemy's hands. They walked in and checked the big room before them. There were 20 or so scientists working palely like robots and all of them looked weak. They turned their heads simultaneously at the new arrivals. The first ones who walked in were greeted by warm smiles from the scientists. This action scared the life out of the first people who entered.

Roger came in taking his rifle in one hand and glanced around. The head of the group, "Gentleman, you have a very bad luck."

That sentence was enough to comfirm their hunch.

Outside, four of them had stood guard.

Imside, the doctor and the female scientist were wandering around looking at the tests while the other doctors worked on without a care. Both the parties didn't seem to care about the trouble coming soon. It was like the calm before the storm.

After going around, the lady confirmed that there were many bionuclear weapons like that of plagues, viruses like Q virus.

Just as that report was given to their Colonel, Ria rushed in from outside.

" Head, there are some people outside. They have not yet attacked bu..", just as she was finishing, sounds of guns shooting were heard from outside. Everyone except some 5 people rushed outside. They knew how to use their numbers to their advantage huh.

After a heavy round of exchange from both sides, things finally quietened down. The five of them went out and saw blood in all directions. Everyone who came to them was dead. Surely, they didn't exoect the team to be so good? Or were they just appetizers.

After some half hour same thing hapoened again and again. By now, they had exhusted more than half of their strengths.

After calculating, they were sure there was another round of firings would come again. Lan had hacked into all of their computers and he had heat sensore for the whole building. There were no one left imside the whole building except the room they were trapped in. There is definitely something wrong here. He looked to Roger and in tacit understanding, Roger called out to all of them.

"Lets leave, there is none left. Also, destroy this base. Plant the bombs. Four of you fan out!"

Moments after they were gone, somebody shot Rick but had missed. And another shot one of the girls again but missed as Ansem pulled her aside. So, the people they had been waiting for were the ones they had taken as hostage huh? Wait it seemed it was vice versa. The scientists here were not trained much but they knew how to shoot aimlessly, which is much better if they want to destroy themselves. Minutes after, they were subdued but expressions carried no fear or anxiety, only mad expressions.

The four of them who had gone out came back and appened to witness this scene...Somehow, all of them died as something in their intestines exploded one by one.

When it came to the head, Amber yanked out some kind of small detonator from the man's mouth. She had seen he was trying to swallow something and with everyone blasting their intestines one by one...she did it.

Like last time, only one survived again.
