Mole

The man they caught last time, it was a pure coincidence. The people from the military had sent out four to five personnel to investigate and luckily they had caught him. He was also to die but he had refused to swallow his detonator.

The soldiers sent out were part of a squadron and didn't know anything behind their experiments so when they decided to bring him back, their transport vehicle was ambushed and blew up. After knowing the tides and turns from the man, the military decided to create a team and draw out the Kraits organisation.

Deep in the mountains---

"You all will die soon. The Kraits will come after you", the man who had survived well to be exact...forced to survive wailed and cursed at them loudly. He was devastated when the research center blew up.

No one paid attention to him. Since they had come here without attracting any attention, they had walked by foot since the terrain was very irregular. Roger called the Chief and informed him everything.

After that, they were still walking when they heard howling in the distance. Rick and his pal got excited. Ansem saw it and warned them,"This is still the enemy's territory. Dont be reckless."

Rick withered and had to obey him.

Roger looked at Ansem questioningly. Ian saw it and explained their last expedition to Roger. Roger didn't mind Ansem much since he was a man with the principle...action speaks louder than words. He liked his personality so he didn't mind it at all when the other just looked at him not saying anything haha. After hearing their exploits, Roger laughed out loud and talked to Rick and the others about their experience. A heli had arrived to pick them up and they went back merrily.

The military base---

The Chief was in a meeting with some of the higher ups. Ansem's uncle was also there.

After picking up the phone, he heaved a heavy sigh. The others couldn't help but ask,"What happened, Sir?"

"We have found their research centre where they were creating many viruses to spread but somehow, in the cross firing, many were wounded. We would have to postpone this mission.....until then gather some more experts", the Chief said heavily looking at every one of their reactions secretly.

Everyone was melancholy but when they heard the last sentence, their eyes brightened up a bit but the 'mole' couldn't help but twitch his mouth at the last sentence. This small action did not escape the Chief's eyes.

The meeting was dismissed. The Chief called on the head security personnel and asked him to bring Mr..... and detain him.

The 'mole' was passing on the information to the Kraits' and when he saw the personnel coming, he moved his hand naturally and greeted him. The man caught him and dragged him to the detainment centre.

The Chief came in while the other officers watched from outside the one-sided glass wall. Ansem's uncle was in the interrogation room too.

"So, Mr.... You know very well what punishment a traitor receives right?", Uncle started.

"Hmph..i know very well but it is worth it. Look at the mission team now. Operation Bungarus had failed haha", he sneered.

Everyone's expression turned heavy. And the man continued,"All the scientists have a small detonator which will explode when swallowed causing a chain reaction of the bombs in the research centre. No one will come out alive!", he laughed happily not caring about his image at all.

The Chief started,"We already prevented the blast of one of the detonator and all are saved . Moreover, all of them are on their way back now with the head scientists. He didn't die and there was no chain reaction except that the research centre is no more. We blew it up"

Those words were enough for the 'mole' to change his face from green to white. He was scared out of his wits. He acted rashly and charged like a bull but the personnels caught him and detained him with heavy guards.

Outside, "Chief, how did you know it was him?"

"A military officer should have firm control over their body language and expressions. Oh well i guess he missed that class. Haha", the Chief laughed heartily while the others looked at each other and followed close.

On the heli---

Lan was still on his computer and his expressions was somewhat weird. Roger asked what happened.

"Amber saved all our asses!", he looked at her.

"Me? What did i do?", Amber was confused so were all the other members. They looked at him for an explaination.

"After all the detonator in the body of the scientists were blown, it would cause a chain reaction for the bombs fitted in the building but somehow, one of the detonators did not blast and so the building did not blow up and we are sitting here now", he explained calmly.

While the others' faces was of mixed emotions looking at Amber. She just hid herself in Ansem's embrace. She was like this, strong, brave but a shy girl. She was like a crouching tiger haha. Ansem patted her and smiled lightly.

They all thanked her and she just brushed it off saying it was luck.
