I'm Willing

The big shots have been very worried about this operations since they suspected that the people who had broke out Lucas might be his family. They thought the old man was quiet since he knew his son had done wrong and would not intervene in their works. Who knew? Ah

The Devon family had strong influence all over the world specially in the black world( i put it that cause who'd say underground world. It's a tad bit weird ).

Rene Devon, Lucas' elder brother had immediately flew home after he was reported that his brother came home. He was naturally quite worried when he went to jail but since his father had suppressed him and told him not to do anything, he could only sit back and look over the situation. He was a big brother who cared very much about his younger siblings, the one whom everyone wants hehe.

Mrs. Devon was sobbing as she looked at her son who was asleep after the operation.

Rene had rushed down to their underground base under the house to meet his family. Yes, underground base where all the latest medical facilities, training facilities, technology facilities and whatnot were available.

"Mom, how is he?", he asked worriedly.

He could see that his father had am obvious displease expression meaning that that broke out was carried out against his wish, but he was still worried so he sat there quietly. Rene better than to ask his father about his brother so he could only ask his mother after nodding to father.

"Rene! Look at him, just look at him. Everything is fine on the outside but most of his internal had a lot of injuries. Some were from the torture he received and some were because of impulsiveness while escaping that hell of a place!", she complained non-stop.

As she rambled on, both the father's and son's expressions darkened.

"Enough woman! Its because of impulsiveness you said so yourself. He is fine now so quit crying!", Mr. Devon huffed and went away.

Mrs. Devon naturally calmed down, she knew very well about this tsundere husband of his. Rene also calmed down a bit and patted her mother.

"Mom, why don't prepare Lucas' favourite dish? That way when he wakes up you can feed him", he suggested.

She nodded vigorously ,"You're right, you're right. I shall go now. Tell me when he wakes up okay. The doctor said it won't be long"

And she rushed upwards to the kitchen to prepare.

Rene looked at his mother, then sat down beside his brother's bed. He had already dismissed everyone when he came in.

He sighed a long sigh and looked at his brother.

"When will you ever stop causing trouble?

But this time, i shall avenge you"

He sat there for a long time thinking and planning on how to progress. He had to plan very carefully. He then carressed his brother's hand and went away after calling for the doctor to check up on him.

It has been some hours since the bombing happened. Some soldiers were already dead and others were badly wounded and was in recuperation.

Mr. Vaughlan had been kept under observation. They wanted to question him it was impossible for him to know any of their plans but they held a little hope if he could tell them even a little piece of information.

But again, they threw that aside as that was a family matter . How could an outsider know?

For now, they needed to keep tabs on the virus in the hands of an ambigous buyer. It was a very dangerous thing and it could mean the annihilation of the whole world if used to it's extent.

The room was dimly lit, machines beeped left and right. The person's ears were still ringing from the time the bomb had gone off and he opened his eyes slowly. He could feel eveything slowly but he couldn't feel his legs. Then he remembered that he would never be able to walk again. He looked melancholy laying there quietly. The nurse beside him taking notes of his signs looked at him and smiled.

He closed his eyes and opened them.again and said,"I'm willing".

Haish, like father like son. Both concise in words but damn the father is even more hardcore.

The nurse was confused and she stood there for a long time but she soon snapped out of it and alerted the officers.

Soon, Roger, Ansem and two other officers came in.

Mr. Vaughlan was surprised seeing the two. Of course, he recognised Roger. He was like a carbon copy of his younger brother when he had left home.

"He was Lucas' right hand man...Dui", he said calmly and waited for their response.

Sure enough, they didn't dissapoint him except Ansem.
