Did they hear it right?! D-dui? They would have never known. He was the most notorious terrorist brought by Lucas' father at his side since he was 9 years old. It seems he trusted his son by Dui's side. Oh this time, they really are in a big trouble. The people with which they were involved had a large scope so more manpower was needed.

All of them went out, only Ansem stayed behind. Now was the only time he was alone with his father after he had left home.

Ansem's uncle was outside but did not disturb them.

Ansem sat there for a long time not saying anything. His gaze was on the floor and no one could see what he was thinking.

"Dad...", he called out softly.

Mr. Vaughlan lifted his head and looked at his son who was sitting before him. At this moment, all his melancholy disappeared and was replaced by a longing expression.

Ansem slowly looked at his father and blinked.

"Dad, if given a chance. Would you..?", Ansem queationed.

"Yes! Yes! If given a chance, i'm willing. I'm willing to be a good man", Mr. Vaughlan now had tears in his eyes.

Ansem nodded with a hmm and averted his gaze again.

His father was still looking at him.

"Grandma will be very happy. Everyone will be very happy", Ansem said after a long silence.

Mr. Vaughlan,"Yes your grandma wanted this since your grandpa died. In order to avenge him, i disregarded your grandma's feelings and joined it. She was very unwilling since this road was dangerous. Till this day, she hasn't said even one word to me Ha!

Yes, you're right. Our family will be whole again. I'm willing to go through trials and atlast be happy with you all!", he smiled.

He had never felt this happy for years.

Ansem looked at his father for a long time and slowly smiled too.

"Thank you, Dad"

"Why are you thanking me, idiot?

I should thank you!", he laughed cheerfully.

Ansem's uncle waiting outside saw the scene and also came in with Roger.

"Brother, we shall bring you out soon!", he exclaimed.

Roger greeted his uncle.

Ansem's father gladly greeted both of them.

They talked for a long time. The ambience of the room was warm. After some hours, Ansem's father had to rest so all of them went out.

Uncle patted Ansem,"Boy! Thank you very much! Our family is complete now". As he turned away, he wiped some tears and walked away happily. Roger stood there for a long time looking at Ansem, smiling,"When Uncle gets out, we shall have a family reunion."

Ansem nodded and said,

"But we have to solve this Devon family first."

"Right right. We have to alert our family too just in case"

"Oh yes"

Devon family villa---

"Here, eat more. Look at you, a bag of bones. Eat more," Mrs. Devon was feeding her son Lucas who had woken up with great enthusiasm.

Lucas ate with gusto too but his mother couldn't help but nag him to eat more.

"My poor child, they treated you so badly. Now that you have come home, you should get more healthy and take revenge!", Mrs. Devon was furious.

Lucas ate slowly looking at a daze and thinking about the things that had happened. Surely he is a Devon, how could he let his enemies go. He was going to destroy them for sure.

HQ---

"Let's go meet him after he wakes up", Ansem said to Amber.

"Okay then", Amber was nervous.

She was going to meet her father-in-law. Surely she will be nervous right.

She was about to ask Ansem more about her father-in-law when his phone rang.

They both looked at each other...Ansem opened it, the caller was Mia.

"Brother brother. Please come to the hospital. Setzer got into an accident and is in a dire situation. Please come home soon brother", Mia was crying very hard.

Ansem looked at Amber, sure enough she was already packing things.

They rushed to their head and gave in an application for emergency and rushed towards their vehicle.

Ansem drove the vehicle and Ansem informed Roger and Uncle of the news.

They reached the hospital and rushed to the Emergency Ward.

Mia was there crying hard. Ansem's mother was sitting on the chair, she had not recovered from the shock and was in a daze. Gordon was there patting the red eyed Mia.

"What happened?!", Ansem looked at his brother.

"He was coming home from the company in his car when he was hit by a mail truck in the intersection. I have checked the survellience and is now currently investigating. We have caught the driver but he couldn't remember anything", Gordon explained.

"Can't remember anything? What do you mean?!", Ansem had a doubt that this accident had something to do with Rene.

Rene also had a research centre where he made drugs to control the human mind. It had kind of a hypnotic effect. He had known about this, everyone knew about this but it had never been used so it did not pose a threat till now.

He had seen a footage of the people who was drugged in his testings. It was a classified footage. It was needed for his investigation so he had watched it with Roger.

No wonder the driver could not remember anything, he was in control of that drug.
