Chapter 1

As if expecting my answer she laughed a bit, and sat on the field of lavender. She invited me to sit by her side as i stared at her awaiting for an answer. I dumbfoundedly sat beside her as I awaited for her to explain.

"Hmm?... I thought you would know of this. You see? It's just like those novels you've often read right? Isekai or reincarnation is what you called them right?"

"Hmm!Hmm!" I nodded seriously at her as I remembered one of my favorite past time hobby.

"N-no! That's not right! That was just fantasy right?!" I argued with her, seeing the silliness of this.

"You're the silly one my child.*giggles* After all you're supposed to be dead right? Yet here you are talking to a goddess of the Earth." She puffed her chest proudly as she declared herself as a goddess.

"G-go-goddess?!! M-miss Gaia is a goddess?!" Like a lightbulb lighting up in his head, and puzzles putting back in their places I remembered something that I should've remembered when she first said her name.

"G-Gaia t-the mother earth?" Somehow the stturing continued as the thought dawned in me as i remembered my actions earlier, hugging and talking face to face with a goddess?! ME?!

"Hmm! Hmm!" Goddess Gaia nodded her head proudly while remaining her motherly elegance.

"F-Forgive me for my r-rude actions earlier! I'll listen to anything you'll say!" I bowed my head and apologize and stood up straight looking at the distance making sure not to rudely stare at the goddess.

"This lowly servant Aciel, is at your service!" I hurriedly added when I remembered I haven't yet introduced my self. A couple seconds of crippling silence lingers as I stood rigidly.

"...Muu! I didn't pull favors from the heavens to see you treat me like this!" Hearing her complaints and imagining the look of a pouting goddess have me wanting to look at her pouting adorably.

But I steelled my feelings and continue standing straight not wanting to have my feelings get the best of me and somehow disrespect a goddess.

"MUU!!! Then I command you to look at me and treat me like a normal person!" Suddenly i felt my head forcibly turned once again at her as I finally saw her tearyfilled eyes. Like an arrow hit my heart i felt my stiffness melting, surely nothing can make me not follow that command.

"O-okay." Somehow managing to calm my fast beating heart, but still doubtful of this events I asked. "...But... is that possible?" Putting my head back in the game I remembered her suggestion earlier. To have a chance to live a new life in Eos, the Final Fantasy XV world!

Goddess Gaia seeing my reluctant and doubtful face, soften as she reached out and held my hands.

"Hmm! It surely is possible. After all that was not just a game. It was a real world, the game was just the prophecy of the fate of that world."

Hearing her reply have lifted the doubts in my mind and thinking of the possibillities of the chance I'll get if I accept the offer is unimaginable.

"Does that mean that I can really have the chance to live a new life?" Althought I've asked this before I just wanted to make sure that this is real, like really real.

"Yes! Definetely afterall I've pull special favors from heavens just for you my child." Once again she replied proudly like a mom giving the best gift for her precious child.

That filled my heart with joy, doing something this big favor justs for me, I'll forever be indebted to her. But I remembered something important, Eos is not some vacation planet or somewhat peaceful planet like earth, there I'll be facing the end times filled with murderous robots and daemons and the starscourge that plague the planet. Can I really live my life happilly there?

For a while silence filled air as I think of the posibillities of how can I survive that world, but no matter how much I think, myself as a normal person cannot even fight a single magitech armor not to mention daemons that filed Eos at night.

"...But you want to help them right? The people of Eos, Insomnia, Noctis and his friend.... my sister Eos, you can help them right?"

My mind stopped thinking when I heard her. That's right! The thing that really brought me to like FFXV is the bonds of the characters with each other, how they would like to defy fate but responsibilities and prophecies didn't and can't let them. As much as I liked the game the needless sacrifices that were made were too painful to watch as I played that game, the fate of the people and its planet, I... I want to change that!

I nodded my head as I resolutely stared at the goddess Gaia. No words were needed as I saw her smile and hugged me. The hug didn't bother me anymore for seeing the compassion in the goddess and accepted it warmly.

Somehow the hug lasted longer than I think, my face was kinda getting hotter and hotter as the hug continue. I tried to manuever my self out of her embraced couple of times but gave up whenever she hugged me tighter whenever I attemped to free my self.

"...Just a bit more...to recharge my mother earth energy..." I heared her said in a low voice so I stayed still and enjoy the blissfull warmth for as long as she wants.

"Hmm! There, thank you Aciel my child. Now anything you want to ask?" After ending the hug somehow i felt a bit sad that it ended? Anyways I have some questions needed to be asked.

"Right. Earlier you said 'my sister Eos', does that mean she's a goddess to? Just like Goddess Gaia?" Out of all the things I'd like this to be cleared first, causes if that's the case this will be very important as I will be entruding another goddesses' domain in this case.

"Yes that's right. Eos is one of my sibings, we are too many to count but we are specially close as siblings in the countless offspring of the universe, of course there are others as well, most stories from your world were from my siblings worlds, but of course humans doesn't know that."

"I see. Will that complecate things with your sister Goddess Eos if we intervene in her world?" Now I asked the crucial question, normally the problem with Eos will be solved as the game showed, and me showing up there and helping would change this.

"As expected of my child, you've thought this well. But you see Eos as of right now is recupetating from the scars of the battle of her children the Astrals and humans. That's why she's to ensure the survival of her planet she created the crystal to help the humans fight the starscourge making her fell to deep sleep." Her voice became sad as she tell the story of her sister's sacrifice.

"Right now I won't tell you the deeper details of the problem, but I promise you you'll have all the help you can get from me before you go there."

I immediately understood her, knowing far too much would make me ruin whats in store for Eos if I knew such things as I would be something that could ruin that outcome. I knew that it has something to do with the last work of FFXV Dawn of the future. So I'll need to find out for my self.

Now I need to think up of something to help me in that new world. Something... something? Ahh! I'll just ask.

"Umm goddess Gaia well then, as a fellow man of culture of isekai club readers, may I request a system?" I requested with all my humble glory for a system as most isekai redears would wish for.

However, "Eto... You see ...hehe I think I've squeezed all my favors with the heavens for me just to borrow you from them. So haha I can't kinda grant that one, It's out of my paygrade for now haha..."

"I see, I see...that's alright i guess." As I thought an overpowered system like those in isekais were so nonsense, such OP thing that defies the very law of even Cultivation novels is BS. Now what other alternatives?

"Hmm... Anime Powers? Like Naruto universe or One-piece? Sharingan or Devil Fruit?" I asked the goddess who was seemingly hoping to get some correct request?

But, she shook her head rapidly. Denied again huh? Is my price from heaven that big? I looked to goddess Gaia if she read my mind. And she nodded her head rapidly her eyes moistioning a bit.

This could be troublesome. Okay lets ask for something reasonable. Let's think, she's a goddess of earth, that means powers of other worlds would not be in the realm of her powers which would be something expesive for her to get permission from the heavens? I looked at her again to see if my deduction was correct.

Now she nodded her head happily as if I've found the correct answer. Okay! Now that narrows the selection down to earth's mythologies or stories. Marvels and DC I think are out now considering that it has mutiple pantheons of worlds and mythologies.

How about, "Then how about Fate powers?" I asked warrily not wanting to dissatisfied the desperate goddess in front of me.

"Fufu! As expected of my child, but you have to narrow it to... a specific power you would like..." The goddess somehow regained her confidence but lost it when she limited my choices yet again while biting her lips, looking anxiously at me.

I felt cold sweet on my back with this increasing pressure of guessing the correct answer, this could be tough, but just to make sure lets get the best of it.

"Okay! I've decided please grant me the King of Heroes' Gate of Ba----" As I continue to triumphantly declare my wish I stopped when I saw the face of goddess Gaia when I started saying 'King of Heroes', her eyes got teary when I got the part of Gate of Babylon begging me not to finish, so I did.

That was dangerous! I almost made a goddess cry, think! Come on Aciel THINK! Okay no more asking for redicolous powers like GOB, just a weapon or noble phantasm would be good enough I think. I turned my face away from the goddess as it distacted me to think carefully with her puppy eyes begging for the right answer.

True Magic is out of the question also, reality marble is not possible without my mind getting warped to that special reality I would need like UBW or other reality marbles. That really narrows it to magecraft or a weapon noble phantasm of choise. In that case Gae Bolg can be possible it was in the game, but I'm not much of a fan of spear. Ohh most famous in the medieval knight where the Knight of the Round right? I wonder if I could weild or one of ther swords, huh? Now that i remembered Knights of the Round was a popular summon in other Final fantasy games. If thats the case--

"HMM! HMM! " A cheerful affirmation was heard from my side as I thought of that.

"Yes! Hahaha finally I got it right. Well then I want the ability to summon the Knights of the Round!" Now I heartily laughed to the sky as I finally guessed the correct answer, or so i thought when I did'nt heard anything after a while as my laughter come to stop. When I looked at goddess Gaia I could see dark clouds above her head as she bit her dress out of frustration while looking at me. Failure dawned on me as I saw that face.

"Muu! My powers and authority are limited! limited!!!Why can't you get it?! I can't have you have the ultimate summon just like that!"

Ahh! I messed up I forgot, Knights of The Round was an ultimate summon in the final fantasy franchice. In that case any weapon from the thirteen knights would be good enough.

"Ohh...forgive me goddess for my ignorance. I would accept anything you can give me. Any weapon from the knight of the round would be appreciated!" I bowed my head to apologized and gave my final request. "..excalibur is out of reach right?" I whispered that last part like the goddess before to see what her response would be.

As expected from the goddess i got my reply right away.

"N-No no! Who said Excalibur is out of reach for this goddess!? It's this goddess pride and honour, which means I can lend it to you I have lend it the Eos before this just means you'll own now, and you have the authority required to use it! After all only the pure souls can weild it fufu!" Somehow for a goddess on the verge of tears earlier, she gained more confidence as she declared her greates weapon.

Now that she said that, i remembered that Excalibur is humanity's--no the planet's greatest weapon againts evil, the sword of promised victory. That would help very much turn the tides in the battle at Eos, the only problem is me, the would be weilder of it. I have my doubts I could use it to its full potential, after all I didn't train to be a knight and brandished a sword at a young age. I lived most of my life at a hospital not at a knight kingdom.

"Fear not my child. I trust in you, you who have the most beautiful soul i have seen, I'm sure if its you, you'll do great." She held my hands warmly as she encourage me, with a goddess trusting me how can it be that hard right?

"Thank you goddess. Then I'll do so, please grant me this power." I resolutely answered back as I nodded at her.

"Well it's decided then. Ahh! I forgot to mention, Excalibur has been used in Eos before. My previous champion weilded it to help defeat an entity that brought the Starscourge to Eos." The goddess explained something that was not clearly explained in the game, the origin of the plague that taints the world of Eos.

"But goddess, I thought it was a meteor that brought the Starscourge?" I remembered some theories online about the origin of the starscourge, some said it was brought by Ifrit, others said it was the Solheim empire, and the one I'm inclined to is the meteor that fall through Eos.

The goddess shakes her head. "No, it was a world ending creature that brought it. They are mortal enemies of me and my siblings that we have been fighting for a long time. They bring destruction and death to the people and the planet itself."

"I-isn't that j-just like Jenova from Final Fantasy VII? The setting is just the same!" I've always wondered about the similarity between the two franchise, now I think I'm hearing the real story now.

"Yes, it's as you just said. Countless of my siblings have fallen due to this creatures. Other that have survived it were lucky to have survived this destruction. My planet faced it before at defeated it long time ago."

"You mean to say we've fought those creatures before? On planet earth?!" The revelation dumbfounded me, for all I know planet earth doest have magic and fantasy stough of the legends.

She nodded her head in affirmation, "Hmm... that was long time ago, long time forgotten in history. Eversince then I've tried helping my siblings that have encountered these enemies by lending them our planets weapon, excalibur. And now my hope lies with you to help save my sister Eos and her people."

Her eyes were hopeful for me to agree. Well she did'nt need to ask, I've already decided to help her, besides the one in debt here is me, helping Eos and her people is the right thing to do.

I nodded at her while giving her my brigthest smile. "Ofcource you can count on me! I'll do my best!"

"I'm glad! I knew you you will." Like a burden lifted from her chest she responded with her beautiful motherly smile.

While in my thought of plans for the future shards of light began to gather at my feet as it slow crept up my whole body, I turned questionably and noticed the goddess stared at me fondly at the same time quite sadly.

"Will I be able to see goddess after this? When I'm at Eos... will I be able to talk to you again?" Somehow I knew that look on her face, my time to depart this space is coming. I'm sad and dissappointed that this could be the last I'll ever see her.

Instead of answering my question, goddess Gaia just smile warmly at me and patted my head.

"...Don't worry my child, as long as you have this sword, I'll always be by your side." A beautiful ornamented sword with sheath appeared out of thin air as she held it out in front of me.

"...Now to prepare you to your journey, rest for now. When you wake up, begins your new life. " Hearing her whisper calmly on my ears my eyes got sleepy as the goddess gently guide my head to the ground and put it lightly on her lap. I could hear her whisper somethings to me as sleep slowly take over me.

I mustered all my will to leave a final goodbye to her. "....thank...you... can .....I.....met....again?"

As the last of my conciousness take me over i heared her reply. "..until we meet again my child. Live free and happilly." I felt the moist touched of her lips on my forehead as the warmth embraced of sleep took over me.

"Set forth my child, bring the new dawn."
