Once upon a time, there was a girl and boy who were strangers at the very beginning but became friends over a short period of time but soon that friendship started to bloom into love.

But that love wasn't meant to happen


"You are the only person which I want in this world but why can't you be with me I thought you loved me Patrick why if it's because of me I can change it but please don't leave me like them I would lose my mind without you please I beg you" I try to grab hold of his hand begging to not leave me

"Amelia, I did love you but that was in the past now I no longer love you anymore," says the person who I dearly loved who pushes my hand and left me drenched in the rain.

Their faith was never supposed to be entangled in the first place but they couldn't help themself as faith is so damn cruel.

A Love That Wasn't Meant To Be

After arranging my bedroom I went for a quick bath and wore a fresh new pair of clothes.


Soon I heard my mom greeting someone. I went downstairs to see Patrick and I also saw my mom happily telling something to him. Wow, she was not this happy when my friends come home.


They were talking so much that they didn't even notice me.


"Umm mom Patrick and I are going to study upstairs"


"Yeah sure go-ahead call me when you need something"


We went upstairs and headed toward my room. I started to rearrange my stuff. I told a brief introduction to the lesson which we were lately studying at school and I told him to read the lesson and underline the important things and dates.


While he was doing his work I was doing my homework. After some time I was stuck with my maths homework. Let me tell you something the one thing I hate the most is maths I tried my best to study but I still get fewer marks, it is as if I was born to get less mark.


Patrick was about to ask a question when he saw Amelia glaring at her notebook, he went towards her and saw her stuck at a question, he leaned towards her and said


"Just use the formula which you used before to get this one"


"Umm I don't know which formula you're talking about"


Now I feel like a dumb person who doesn't know shit.


"The one where you have to cross multiply to get the x"


After I got my final answer, I went towards Patrick


"Thank you, Patrick, I kinda suck at maths"


"It's okay Amelia I have to thank you too"


"Hey Amelia why don't we do this you teach me History and I teach you Maths"


"Then we can have evening tuition at 5??"


He bid goodbyes to my mom and went to his house.


"Woah what do I see did my baby sister invite a boy to our house," my brother said leaning towards the wall with a huge smirk


"Yeah and for your information we were studying not like someone else in this house"


"Mom I can't still believe that my little sis would grow up I still thought that she will be single for her entire life"


Ouch, that hurts did they believe that I am going to be single for my entire life. My brother is a huge jerk it is no surprise that he does not believe me but my mom, here goes the saying like mom like son.
