3rd Person POV:
The people around the world were left in shock after the winter has stopped spreading from coast to coast.
Civilians were eagerly trying to stock up on food, clothing, and other supplies they thought were needed for the winter ahead. Stores were overwhelmed with customers rushing to hoard all the goods they could.
When it leaked that this winter was only temporarily around, sighs of relief came from everyone around the globe.
"The winter we all feared has subsided leaving people who aren't stocked up with necessary goods in relief." The news reporter started. "Meteorologists are trying to find the reasoning for this sudden outbreak."

Rital's father watched the T.V in disbelief and wondered if this had anything to do with the demigod world. He has been worried sick ever since he got that phone call that his precious daughter would have to leave for camp.
When Mr. Smith and Khione fell in love, he never knew she was a goddess.
Khione soon got pregnant, and wanted to abort the child saying she couldn't have it, but Mr. Smith begged her to keep it. She graciously agreed and explained everything to him after Rital's birth.
Mr. Smith's heart was completely shattered after she left, and it soon turned into hatred. She left him with a child and never came back while hiding all these secrets. But he could never hate her for long. She gave him Rital, the best thing that could have ever happened to him.
He wanted to keep Rital far away from this information, and Evan came when she moved to Washington.
He explained who he was and Mr. Smith wanted to get Rital away from him, but Evan promised not to tell her.
Mr. Smith was always pressured into telling Rital, but never wanted to knowing how much danger it would put her in. Being a demigod can be dangerous but knowing about it would be even more.
He shivered at the thought of what might have happened to her on the way to camp. He knew all about the monsters and creatures that hunted demigods.
He expected her to have visited him by now, since it has almost been a week without seeing him. But everyday leads to disappointment, coming home to an empty house.
"Rital." He mumbled. "Where are you?"

Evan's POV:
For days we have been trembling in our houses from the cold outside. I know that everyone gave them 2 weeks, but they needed to save Khione fast.
The winter has started overseas but has circled back around to America and making its way down to the East Coast.
I trust that Rital and Seth will be successful, but I have had my doubts.
Rital has just arrived at camp, and it is very rare for new recruits to be selected for a quest. Plus, her and Seth didn't exactly get on the right foot. He is the son of Hephaestus after all; fire and ice are opposites.
The room had a fire pit blazing with flames. Everyone was shivering and leaning up next to it trying to receive warmth.
Slowly, everyone started to get hot and sweaty. The demigods back away from the fire pit wiping the moister of their foreheads.
"Knock Knock." I heard. All our heads rotated to the door. Another demigod bursted in and shouted in glee. "They did it!" She yelled.
At first I was confused by the statement but quickly realized that Seth and Rital must have been successful. 'That is why we were getting sweaty.' I thought
Everyone in our cabin stood up cheering and ran outside. My main priority was to see Rital and Seth alive and well.
As we ran outside tumbling over each other. The ice was no longer there and the snow vanished. The demigods dancing around underneath the sun soaking up the radiation.
I walked up to one of my friends Jose, "Where is Rital and Seth?" I asked.
He turned to me with a beaming smile and replied, "Probably on their way back! We are having a big seafood buffet for dinner to celebrate there success. Hopefully they get back by then. Or else we will have the dinner another night."
I nodded and forced a smile on my face. I wormed my way through the crowd towards the front of the camp.
I leaned on a wood post and looked into the woods for any sign of their arrival. It was still early in the morning, so they had all day to get back in time for dinner.
I stood there for about 5 minutes and the cheers dissolved and the demigods started picking up training once again. The clash of swords and the fire of bows filled the air.
I took one long glance back at the woods and walked back to the training grounds.
~~~~~~~
After dueling a few demigod I heard bushes rustle in the front of the camp. I didn't seem like the only one that noticed, and a group of kids gathered around the entrance.
My jaw dropped to the ground. A mystical stallion was carrying Seth, who has in fact, carrying Rital in his arms. I pushed my way to the front of the crowd to see her pale and inert.
