New wonders

As I look at the meadow that stretches a mile in every direction I can't help exclaiming, "This is beautiful!". One-Piece had terrible scenery. All you see is ocean in every god damn direction and jungle islands that have no clearings. I like oceans and jungles, but only in small doses. When you spend forty years on boats or in dense vegetation, the sight becomes sickening.

My first life had beautiful fields just like this one and I truly missed just lying in them, running around, and just seeing the vast expanse of green and colorful flowers. The first thing I did in this new world is shrink down and slither through the fields at high speed. The feeling of the wind in my hair with the smell of nature was so thrilling.

Some small monsters tried to ruin my nice relaxing day of joy, but I just flicked my finger and they would fly off into the distance. It was fun moving fast and sending monsters flying. I made my own game of keeping monsters in the air. With a flick they would start flying and I had to keep them from touching the ground or else I lose.

My game was being observed by some hunters from the forest. All the flying monsters probably caught their attention.

"Hello everyone! Would you like to join in? You can shoot down monsters that I am keeping up in the air.", I yelled out while zipping around like the speedy lamia I am.

They were all cautious of me except for one little huntress that took aim with her bow and shot a horned rabbit in the heart. "Nice!", I yelled out.

After that first shot, the other hunters started to join in for a fun game of target practice with flying monsters. I didn't make it easy for them though. Flicking it to the side suddenly when I notice one about to fire an arrow. My tail would smack some right over their heads just to keep them on their toes. The little huntress that took the first shot was the best when it came to hitting the surprise overhead monsters.

When there were no more monsters in the field to play with, we stopped playing and started talking.

"Hi, I'm Sarah. I was summoned here to save the world.", I introduced myself. Their eyes almost popped out of their heads when registered what I said. The effects of the worlds resisting that force started to show on the surface. They didn't doubt my words but still couldn't believe it just yet.

"We are hunters from the nearby village, we were out cleaning monsters from the most recent waves. Thank you for your help in clearing out those in the field. They were the most dangerous in the area, especially towards children like Sophia here.", the most experienced looking hunter of the group speaks up. He points to the little huntress that first started to shoot and explained about how the wave occurred in a far-off village, but many monsters traveled to different areas.

"Big snake sis! Are you one of the heroes that will save the world?", Sophia asks me with wonder and excitement in her eyes. I get an overwhelming urge to just cup her cute squishy face in my hands.

I couldn't contain myself, so I slithered up to her and cupped her cheeks in my hands before saying, "Of course! The will of the world called me here to find the cause of the waves. Once I do, I will stop it from ever happening again!". She was so happy to hear it. Her cute wolf ears perked up from in her hood and her tail wagged about happily behind her.

Turns out her cousin's village was hit the hardest and lost their parents. Her cousin is now staying with Sophia and her parents. It hit Sophia hard seeing what the waves did. Such a good kid.

"Then if you would please come back to the village, we would be happy to contact the kingdom and get you as much help as needed.", the eldest of the group said. I happily accepted their invitation and talked with Sophia about all the adventures I had and what the world I came from was like.

The topic with the most weight for the group was when Sophia asked about my legendary weapon. The summoned individuals the will of the world talked about likely had special items used to combat the waves. I pulled out my gauntlets and showed them the many forms they could take to appease their worries.

While walking and talking, I spread out my haki to see where the force originated from. I kept it to the world and the atmosphere, because for every meter I spread it out, the area increases exponentially along with the processing power needed.

My instincts helped guide me to where I should focus my search. A human kingdom where I can sense a fragment of a powerful soul and a location in the atmosphere where space is distorted. The soul fragment would take less time to deal with, but also have less results. The space distortion would need more time to unravel because it was created using energy from a divine entity. If I were a divine entity I could likely brute force my way through, but I'm not, so I will need to use skill and technique to gain access.

I work on unraveling the space distortion first because that will take more time. I have my senses on the soul fragment in case the divine entity tries to escape by moving to it. With the knowledge from the magic computer I can tell the distortion was created with no skill and will take less time to unravel, ten days at most before I have it under my control.

"Big snake sis is something on your mind?", Sophia asks me with her cute wolf ears flopping when she tilts her head. I am going to recreate the immortality serum earlier than I anticipated to keep her this cute forever.

"Just thinking about what to have for lunch.", I tell her to dispel any worries she may have. In the distance I see a village with houses and fields for farming.
