Rewards

I'm floating in front of the will of both worlds and open my mouth to greet the one I know when the other will starts complaining about how I almost caused the death of his people by unleashing the demon emperor's castle. It was built by the first demon emperor as a home but creates or picks an individual to become the next demon emperor and he just kept nagging me about how I went about things.

He finally shut up was when a third party appeared in between us and smacked him upside the head for being a winy baby.

"I'm sorry about that. He was just worried about his people and wanted to thank you for taking care of a problem in the making.", the goddess who suddenly appeared explained.

"No problem. I didn't listen to most of what he said, so we can just leave it at that.", I reply because I'm not petty enough to hold a grudge for something so small.

"I would like to thank you for saving two worlds under my care and snuffing out a rebellious goddess.", she says with a bow.

"While I would like to reward you when I'm at full strength I can see you are a bit impatient to move on to your next adventure.", she infers from seeing my hurried actions to deal with the demon castle.

I ask her why she isn't at full strength and the wills tell me they were too weak from resisting and she had to pull them back into place all by herself. I'm impressed that she was able to do so and say that I'm fine with small rewards for what I've done.

"Then I will grant you two wishes, one for each world you saved, and a request of me for taking care of the demon castle and rebellious goddess. However, both wishes will be limited because of my exhausted power.", she tells me and I do the same thing with the previous god and ask for them to be in breakable crystals so I can store them in my gate for later.

"My first wish is an ability to manipulate organic materials.", I tell her and receive a reply that it's too big a wish. I ask her to have the ability be at a low starting point so that I can grow it for later and she says that she can do that if the starting point is on the cellular level. Oof. Gonna need to grind this ability to make it useful.

"Then, my second wish is word magic from the word master manga.", I tell her and get a rely that it will have to start at the same level as the main character at the start of the manga and the efficiency will be terrible.

"For the request I would like you to teach me how to grant wishes.", I say, and she looks at me with a dumbfound expression. The wills have the same expression because they never thought of a request like that. I would have asked for this anyway because teaching a man to fish is better than giving a man a fish.

The goddess snaps her fingers and a new crystal is formed with information on wish granting and ability making. I store all three crystals in the gate and watch as it continues changing from absorbing the demon castle. It needs time to adjust, so I can't use the crystals yet until the gate can scan and store their information for restoration.

I thank the three dumbstruck people in front of me for a fun adventure and nice shinny gifts before opening a portal to my companions.

"How did it go?", Sophia asks even though she could just read my mind. I have secured connection for the two to gain access to my mind, so I don't have to worry about others using it as an unsecured route for mind control.

"It went well. I think that everything in this world is taken care of so we can go off to the next at any time.", I tell them as they're eager to see new worlds.

"What world are we going to?", Fitoria asks. I think about it and start getting indecisive before I just give up on deciding.

"We will be doing a random reincarnation. I have it so we will all be together and still the same gender.", I reply.

I get their consent and open world travel to change some settings and hit the random button as we are enveloped by light, which I remember to close my eyes for.
