"So, Xianne. Xavion told me, you were the one who brought, Uncle Thumper's remains." The doe bunny asked me as she put the vegetable stew on my plate.

I awkwardly laughed. "No, Xianne. Velveteen—my wife was just bluffing."

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't know. I was in the Dryad's forest when they offered me something to eat."

Velveteen nodded, "Well, Uncle Thumper was not in my side of the family to worry about." Then the older bunnies laughed, while the children kept eating their food.

I only smiled, not knowing if I should laugh either, glancing at Xavion he was watching Saffron, while Saffron was eyeing his wife.

"Wait so you were at the dryads?" Saffron asked, Velveteen was eating next to him.

"But they don't just invite any visitor. Their forest has a barrier."

"How'd you know that, Saffron?" Velveteen asked.
