Chapter 41 | The Workshop

My eyes couldn't leave the duffel bag where I buried the tail. My mind and heart are racing, clutching my legs in front of me as I sit in the corner of my bed, it reminds me of how vulnerable I was back in the cottage.

My thoughts flew back to the cube where he wrote 'First Kill' Does he remember the wolf's name he's killed? I'm sure of it, he knows the wolf, he knows where he killed him and he knows the exact situation and how it happened.

Should I ask him?

I bit my lip and tightly closed my eyes. That thought of asking him will never result in anything extraordinary. He only shares information that he wants to share.

I walked to the cliff for a fresh breath of air, he made a wood overhang against the strong rocks, perfect for looking at the sea and the sky. A sense of familiarity washed over my thoughts. My eyes flew to the shining tower as series of questions drove me off to insanity.
